That night Jonathan Nancy and Jamie all went into the woods were Wills bike was last seen, they were looking for clues or even this monster.
They had Jonathan's gun a bat a flashlight and themselves. When it got dark any sound or crunch Jamie would jump at it scared of what could be behind her.
"I think I heard something" Jamie stated
Jonathan sighed "Jamie it was probably the wind for the 5th time" he walked on
Nancy flashed her light at a tree "hey Jamie do you see that ?" It looked as though there was goo all over the bottom
"Yeah" Jamie walked towards it but Nancy held her back
"Are you crazy you don't know what that is" Nancy whispered
"Well we're here to check things nance might as well see what it is" she moved and got closer to it, Nancy followed after Jonathan
Jamie kneeled down to get a closer look, there was all sorts of noises coming from it. She took of her jacket and put down her flashlight. She started to crawl through it
When she got to the other side it was the woods but in more of a blue ish tone and rotted. She looked around her and back at the way that she came which was closed already
"NANCY" she yelled hoping her friend could hear her, she heard a screech from the atmosphere "JONATHAN" she cried out hoping to get a response
She heard the monster getting closer so she bolted and tried not to trip over the vines on the floor "NANCY" she screamed "JONATHAN"
Jonathan flashed his lights at Nancy "did you hear that" Nancy shook her head
"NACY" Jamie's cry echoed the woods "JONATHAN" Nancy and Jonathan looked at each other
"Jamie !" Jonathan said, they both didn't even think but bolted to the location were Jamie was last, Nancy saw her jacket and flashlight. She quickly grabbed it
"JAMIE" Jonathan yelled which echoed into the upside down
"JONATHAN IM RIGHT HERE" Jamie yelled again. She could feel the slimy creature reach her. She faced it and created a energy ball in between her palms. She threw it at the monster making it fly backwards it's scream echoing
She felt a hand grab her and pull her out. Before she knew it she was on top of Jonathan shaking
"Oh my god Jamie" Jonathan clasped her "you alright" he looked at her. She was covered in the goo and her hair was dripping wet "how the hell did you fight the monster off" he looked at her nose "your nose is bleeding"
Jamie knew she couldn't mention her abilities "I don't know" she wiped her nose and looked at Nancy who helped her up "can we go now I need a shower"
"Yeah of corse come on" Nancy gave her back her jacket.
Meanwhile with Steve he had Tommy and Carol complaining in his car
"I don't even get why we're going to the wheeler house" Carol groaned "what's the point"
"I'm not there to stay I wanna check on Jamie you should have heard her voice she sounded shaken up" Steve replied back
Tommy laughed "so we're going to your girlfriends house to check on her friend" he patted Steve's back "atta boy"
Steve rolled his eyes "it's not like that, I'll go see Nancy and then check on Jamie".
They pulled up towards the Wheeler house when Steve started climbing his way up to the window of Nancys bedroom
Jamie sat on Nancy's bed trying to forget what had just happened, Jonathan wrapped a towel around her "you alright"
Steve glanced through the window, he could only make out Jonathan's face but from the back Jamie appeared to look like Nancy. His face turned as he crept back down the window.
"I'm gunna take a shower" Jamie stood up as Nancy came in
"Yeah of corse go ahead" Nancy smiled.
Jamie hopped into the shower and as they water hit her body she couldn't stop thinking of one memory

"Okay number five" Dr Brenner said facing the little girl who was scrunched up on a chair "could you crush the can for me dear"
The girl glanced at the can, she put her hand on the desk with her palm facing up and created a red energy ball in between. The can began to compress
Dr Brenner chuckled to himself "well done number five, fastest one yet" he smiled at the little girl and wrote something in his notepad. After putting the notepad down he looked at one of the guards and nodded his head.
The guard took away the can and set a caged bird on the table "now number five" dr Brenner leaned in closer "I want you too do the same thing you done to the can to the bird" he winked "you can do it"
She looked at the bird and frowned, she looked back up at the man in front of her and shook her head
Dr Brenner sat back and tutted. Two of the guards came and grabbed number five by both arms. She began to scream "NO" she yelled down the hallway "PAPA"
Jamie opened her eyes at the steaming hot water. She took a deep breath and got out. She put clean pyjamas on and went into Nancy's room
Jonathan was still there he looked at Jamie "you alright ?"
Jamie shook her head "fine" she looked back at Nancy and pointed to the blow up bed "is this where I'm sleeping ?" Nancy nodded.
Jamie was quick to get into bed as she was too exhausted to even speak.
The next morning Nancy got up to see Jonathan and Nancy sitting in her bed with a book between them "hey" Nancy smiled
"What are you doing" Jamie sat up
"We need to find that place you went in Jamie" Nancy looked back at her book "it's the only way of finding Barb and Will"
"We can't go back out there" Jonathan looked to Nancy
"We don't have too" Nancy turned her head "it was feeding on a dear meaning it's a predator" Nancy carried on "but it seems to hunt at night like a lion" she opened her book to show a lion "but it doesn't hunt in packs like them" she flipped another page "remember at Steve's when Barb cut herself" Nancy looked at Jamie for approval "then last night the dear"
"It was bleeding too" Jonathan mumbled
"Sharks can detect blood" Jamie stood up and flipped the pages to find the shark "and a shark can detect blood from miles away"
"So you're saying it's attracted to blood ?" Jonathan finally spoke again
"Just a theory" Nancy went more quiet
Jamie then stood up and looked at her two friends "well we need to test it don't we"
"What if it works" Jonathan turned to her
"We kill it" she looked at him right in the eyes "we have to".
They al decided to go to the store and get the necessities to killing the monster. Jamie was looking at bear traps while Jonathan and Nancy were looking at chains.
They got to the till and Jamie put a big tin of gasoline on it followed by hammers, bats, nails and bear traps "oo can I take 5 matchers please" she smiled innocently at the man who was behind the till
He turned and grabbed five matchers and put them on the desk "what are you kids doing with all this" he looked down in concern
They all stayed silent "monster hunting" Jamie grinned at him.
They all walked outside and put the weapons in the trunk of the car "Monster hunting" Jonathan laughed
"it wasn't a lie" Jamie shrugged her shoulders
Nancy groaned "we forgot the nails" she looked back at the store "I'll go get some now"
"I'll come with you" Jonathan followed after her
Jamie smiled knowing Jonathan had the biggest crush on Nancy. She shut the trunk of the car
A car drove past her and a boy stuck his head out "hey Jamie we should go and see Nancys movie together" he winked and drove away
Jamie thought for a second "no" she sighed. She started running towards the movie theatre. She started shoving past people and stopped and looked up at the sign 'all the right moves' and in spray paint 'staring Nancy the slut Wheeler'
Jamie looked in disgust. She heard laughing from the alleyway next to the theatre. Before even thinking she started walking down it to see Steve Tommy Carol and one of Carols friends
"Oh hey there princess" Carol mocked as jamie ignored her still walking towards Steve who had just turned to her and smiled
Before she knew it she slapped him across the face with everyone behind them in awe "what the hell is wrong with you" she spat at him
"What the hell is wrong with you" he spat back "I was worried about you and you knew Nancy was cheating on me with Jonathan" she could see in his eyes that he was actually hurt
"What the hell are you talking about" she stuttered "no Steve that was me with Jonathan"
"Oh so it's you and Jonathan I see" he seemed even more ticked off about that
"No it's not like that"
Carol smirked "I wouldn't lie if I were you" she giggled "you don't wanna be the next on the wall" she threatened
Jamie turned back to Steve "he was comforting me and it's none of your concern anyways" Jonathan and Nancy started coming down
"The star is here how cute" Carol mocked looking at Nancy "looks like you have a new side character" she pointed to Jamie
Jamie and Nancy turned to her and automatically said at the same time "Shut up Carol"
"Look I don't know what you think you saw but it wasn't like that Steve" she looked back at Nancy "Nancy would never cheat on you and we were just" she didn't wanna finish her sentence
"You were just what" Steve took a step closer his face was stone cold "finish that sentence" he looked down at the girl he once knew as a 'best friend' "finish the sentence"
Jamie shook her head "your an asshole" she was not about to let her friend be picked on by Steve Harrington
"Go to hell Jamie" Steve turned to his friends
"Let's go" Jonathan came up behind Jamie. Nancy Jamie followed after him
But unfortunately Steve started again "you know Byers I always took you for a queer but guess that's your whole pervy act huh" he pushed Jonathan's shoulder "your just going to end up like your father a drunk" he shoved him again "and don't even get me started on your brother" before he could finish that sentence Jonathan turned around and punched Steve square in the face
"Jonathan!" Nancy yelled as Steve stood up straight and smirked he ran at Jonathan as they began to fight
"STEVE" Jamie yelled "GET OFF" she couldn't even get involved
After Jonathan got a fare amount of swings at Steve the police sirens went off as they were surrounded by police. Steve's and his friends made a run for it but for Jonathan he wasn't so lucky.
