Steve parked his car Infront of Tina's house, and placed his hand in my thigh.
"Are you ready for the best night of your life," He said jokingly as he put on his sunglasses. I laughed at his humor, he always found a way to make me laugh.
"Yes, I am. So let's go!" I yelled as I hopped out of his car and dragged him along. As Steve and I entered the party and were greeted by Tina.
"Glad you guys came! Come on in!" she said as she opened the door for us and let us go in first. At first I felt uncomfortable, and Steve Noticed right away.
"Hey are you ok?" he asked stopping me and putting both of his hand in mine.
"Yeah it's just that it's a bit crowded." I said looking around, feeling my anxiety creep up.
"Wanna go outside?" he asked, I nodded and he smiled leading my out to the backyard. As I saw the back yard it was way better and less crowded. As Steve heard the "Monster Mash" start his face expression turned excited.
"Wanna dance?" He asked hoping I'd say yes.
"Of course," he dragged me onto the grass were everyone was dancing.

Steve was singing the song as I was laughing hysterically. ever since the song came out last year he has been singing it all this year. It didn't matter if it was Christmas, he'd always play it.
Steve and I were dancing when Nancy and Jonathon came. Nancy was a bit drunk and Jonathon was trying to tell her not to get another drink.
"Heyyy Y/n! How are you!" She said. Nancy and I are great friends but we haven't seen each other in a while.
"Great! Do you guys want to join us?" I asked, seeing that Jonathon was feeling a bit uncomfortable.
"Sure but after another drink be right back~" she said as she walked away. I saw Steve a bit concerned which I was too but made me a little jealous.
"Nance! Nance! I'll be right back doll." he said as he kissed my cheek. He ran after Nancy and I was left with Jonathon.
"I've never seen Nancy like that before." I said trying to start a conversation with Jonathon.
"Same with me," he said, about to say something else but a girl interrupted him.
"Nice costume." A girl said to Jonathon.
"Thanks!" He said sarcastically as he had no costume on.
"What are you supposed to be?" She said.
"Oh, I'm a guy who doesn't like parties. That's who I'm supposed to be." Jonathon said, making the girl laugh. The girl pulled Jonathon away from me, and Jonathon looked back at me and mouthed 'Sorry' I gave him a thumbs up, letting him know that it's okay.
I looked around as I heard boys yelling and a lot of commotion going on at the corner of the backyard.
"DRINK, DRINK, DRINK, DRINK!" The whole group of boys chanted I look over and saw Billy doing A keg stand competition.
For y'all who don't know what keg drinking is: is a drinking activity where the participant does a handstand on a keg of beer and attempts to drink as much as possible at once or to drink for as long as possible.
I watched in disbelief as Billy was drinking the beer so fast, probably even better than Steve did last time.
"Yeah!" The boys yelled as he did it.
Billy got out of the handstand and saw you in the crowd.
"Heyy (nickname), were is you boyfriend King Steve." he asked sarcastically. ever since Billy has been beating Steve in almost everything, he has been teasing him constantly about how he's taking over the school.
"He went to go check in on Nancy because she was drin-" I said until he interrupted me. rude much!
"Checking in on her, they could be making out for all you know. I just don't want you to get hurt y'know, you're like my sister. " Billy said. My face dropped and I started to think all of these thoughts.
what if Billy is right? What if Steve is secretly sneaking around with her? NO, No y/n, Steve is a loyal boyfriend...but...
Steve has been spending more time with her after he told me that he was going with Nancy to Barbara's house. He can't be...
"No, that's not possible Billy. Steve used to be like that but he's changed, and beside, he's loyal." I replied to Billy.
"Okay, I just don't want to see you get hurt. I'll be here if that bitch ever hurts you." Billy said, his eyes averted to Steve jogging towards me.
Steve stood behind me as he slowly wrap his arms around my waist.
"I'm back babe, Sorry if I took long." Steve said gently kissing my shoulder and up to my neck.
"Um-" Billy said a bit uncomfterable at the sight, but he continued, "You guys know I'm here right!" Billy said in disgust
"Get a room! Jesus Christ! I don't need to see my sister get fucked Infront of me." Billy said in a disgusted voice and protective voice.
Just as Steve was about to talk back two boys came towards us.
"Harrington! We have a new Keg king!" Tommy said wrapping his arm around Billy's shoulder.
"Yeah Beat it Harrington!" said another guy beside Billy.
"That's nice but y/n and I have to go." Steve said, pulling me by my wrist gently.
"Don't forget protection guys!" Billy said as Steve turned around. Billy laughed and stuck his middle finger at Steve.
As Steve pulled me into an empty room he jumped on the bed, laying down with his hands Infront of his face. He sighed and looked at me patting the empty side next to him. I didn't go lay down next to him instead I sat on the edge of the bed, leaving Steve confused. I was still thinking about him and Nancy, could it be true that they are doing things behind my back?
"Y/n. Y/n!" Steve snapped me out of my thoughts and look at me. He saw that something was bothering me and it was his goal to find out what it was.
"Y/n...I see that something is bothering you. What's wrong princess?" he asked getting up from were he was and sitting next to me, holding my hand with both of his.
"This might sound ridiculous but..." I stopped when the image on Nancy and Steve popped into my head. My heart stung at the made up image.
"It doesn't matter if you think it's ridiculous, you can tell me." Steve said, lifting my hand and pressing his lips onto my hand, feeling his lips make contact to my knuckles.
"Well...when you were gone, Billy came up to me and asked where you were." I paused and continued with my narrative, "I said that you went to check in on Nancy, but Billy..." I stopped and looked at him with tears almost falling out of my eyes.
"Billy said that you and Nancy were probably making out. I said that you are loyal towards me and that you would never do that... but my thoughts took over and I started thinking that you could be sneaking with Nancy behind my back and I-"
Steve had shut me up with his lips on mine. I kissed back and wrapped my arms around his neck as it quickly turned into a make out session. we pulled back for a few seconds until we were back into the kiss. this make out wasn't heated, it was full of love, passion, and care. Steve and I pulled away from the kiss looking at each other's eyes. Steve then smiled, and put his hand on my cheek.
"There's no one beside YOU I want to be with. I want to be with Y/n Hopper, the girl that always brightens my day, the girl that cares for others before herself, the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with." He said, holding my face with both of his hands now. His words made me emotional as I started to gently cry. Steve pulled me into a hug and I cried into his chest.
"I want to show you that I will never leave you."
