I'm sorry, I know it's been several months since I uploaded, but a lot of stuff has been happening. I got my results back from my MRI and the results were swelling on my right knee and breakdown of the knee cap tissue. Also I saw an orthopedist and he told me that I also have Patellofemoral arthritis in my right knee. I'm back in physical therapy, but right now I'm doing better. I've also started swim therapy classes, which have been helping me. And I've been real busy at work lately and haven't had much chance to upload new chapters.

Sam walked into Michael's room, he found him still asleep and still in the same clothes from last night.

"Mike. Wake up," Sam said pulling the blinds open letting in the sunlight, "It's Mom." Sam gives the phone to Michael.

"Mom's home?" Michael asks sleepy.

"No, on the phone Mike," Sam says.

"What time is it?" Michael asks.

"It's 2 o'clock," Sam answers with a slight chuckle.

"Give me my sunglasses," Michael told Sam.

"You need your sunglasses to talk on the phone?" Sam questions as he hands them to Michael, "Are you free-basing? Inquiring minds want to know."

Michael stuck up his middle finger, flipping him off in response.

"Oh."

"Hello," Michael answers softly.

"Michael, are you still in bed?" Lucy asked over the phone.

"No, I'm up," Michael told her.

"Michael, would you do me a favor? Max asked me to go dinner with him after work tonight. Would you stay home with Sam and Stacy?" Lucy asks, not knowing that Stacy never came home when Michael did.

"Look Sam is old enough to stay by himself right now," Michael said.

"Yeah, I don't need a babysitter Mike," Sam protests.

But Michael shushed him.

"Look Michael, you know you come home in the middle of the night and keep Stacy out late. You sleep all day, I work all day. Sam is always alone. You know it's been a long time since somebody asked me to go to dinner," Lucy said, "I'd like to go, okay?"

"Okay Mom," Michael said.

Lucy smiled, "Thanks honey it's a real favor. Bye-bye." Lucy then hung up the phone.

After Michael hung up, Sam asked, "Hey Michael, do you know where Stacy is?"

"No," Michael grumbles, still tired.

Sam frowns, it was like he didn't even care. "Well I haven't seen her at all today and I'm getting worried."

"Look Sam, I'm sure Stacy is around here," Michael said tiredly.

"I haven't seen her all day Mike," Sam said with concern.

But Michael didn't respond, Sam turned and saw Michael was asleep again.

"Unbelievable!" Sam mutters in annoyance.

Later when the sun was going down in the cave Stacy awoke to something tickling her stomach. As she was laughing, she woke to find it was Paul, who was grinning playfully at her.

"Paul," Stacy giggled, as she squirmed.

"Hey there sleepy baby," Paul smirked. He stopped tickling Stacy and then he picked her up in his arms.

"I'm not a baby," Stacy pouts.

"Oh I know that," Paul said, "But you're still the youngest one."

Stacy puffed her cheeks and pouted cutely. Paul chuckled and then kissed Stacy on the cheeks. Stacy then looked down at her bed and noticed her stuffed fox.

"Tod!" Stacy cried happily. Paul grabbed the stuffed fox and gave him to Stacy. "Thank you," Stacy said.

"No problem," Paul replied.

"Hi Stacy." Stacy looked and saw that Laddie was awake to along with Star. He went over to where Stacy and Paul were.

"Hi Laddie," Stacy smiled shyly and then she looked away when her cheeks were turning red. Paul chuckled and kissed her hair.

Stacy then heard someone else laughing at the display. When she turned she saw David, Dwayne and Marko smirking. Stacy hid her face in Paul's chest and whimpered nervously. Stacy wasn't scared of Dwayne, he seemed really nice, she wasn't sure how to feel about Marko but David gave her the creeps and she wasn't sure why but Stacy was more comfortable with Paul around. Paul rubbed soothing circles into her back to help calm her down.

Dwayne walked over to where Paul, Stacy and Laddie were and sat down next to them. Dwayne then said to Stacy, "I think we should be getting you home."

Stacy's eyes widen and shook her head frantically as she cried, "No! No, I don't want to go back home. I want to stay here!"

Dwayne sighed, "Okay. But at least call someone to let them know you're okay."

Stacy nods, "I will."

After a few minutes, David spoke up. "Let's go to the boardwalk, I'm bored," he claimed.

David then stood up and stalked out of the cave. Marko and Dwayne followed him, Star took hold of Laddie's hand and sloped out with him, and Paul smirked at Stacy and then grabbed the girl and carried her out of the cave in his arms. Stacy thought about struggling in the vampire's arms for a moment, but then decided not to, as she felt safe with him.

When they got on their motorcycles, Star got on David's motorcycle with him, after Dwayne got on his motorcycle he helped Laddie onto his and Paul did the same for Stacy. Stacy had only been on a motorcycle one other time, and that was last night when she and Michael went to the boardwalk before he left her by herself, and Paul's motorcycle looked different from Michael's. Stacy sat behind Paul with her arms wrapped around his waist. Then they took off with several excited cries.

Stacy was right, their motorcycles were different from Michael's they went a lot faster. Stacy tightens her grip on Paul's waist, making the vampire smirk a little.

When they got to the boardwalk, they headed over to one of the pay phones for Stacy to call home. After Stacy dialed her grandpa's phone number, she waited a couple moments until she heard the voice of her older brother Sam.

"Hello?"

"Sammy, it's me," Stacy answers.

"Stacy? Where are you? Do you have any idea how worried I was?" Sam scolds his sister.

"That was Michael's fault," Stacy replied back with a frown, "I also didn't come home last night, because Michael left me at the boardwalk all by myself last night."

"What?!" Sam exclaims, "Mike left you? By yourself? Are you alright Stacy?"

"I am now, but I also got jumped too," Stacy told him.

"What?! What happened? Are you okay? Any stab wounds or broken bones?" Sam asked frantically.

"Some surf Nazis tried to drown me in a fountain, but then four older boys came and saved me," Stacy explains, "I'm okay now and I'm safe."

Sam sighs in relief, "Thank God. I can't believe Mike left you at the boardwalk."

"I know." Stacy knew that Michael was usually the over-protective big brother, but last night was an unpleasant surprise for her. "By the way, did Mommy know I was gone?" Stacy asked.

"Nope, she went out to work early this morning and I just said you and Michael came home really late last night and you were both in bed and she decided to just let you sleep," Sam explained, "But later when I went to your room to see if you were up and only found Gracie, I didn't know where you were or what happened. So are you coming home soon?"

Stacy shook her head, "No, I don't want to be around Michael right now. I made a new friend and his older brothers were the ones who saved me, I stayed with them last night and I would like to stay with them tonight too. Can you feed Gracie for me until I come back?"

"Yeah sure," Sam said, "But if you're spending the night you better let Mom know before she leaves to go dinner."

Stacy frowned, "Mom is going out to dinner? With who?"

"With some guy named Max, who owns the video store that Mom got a job at," Sam explained, "She called Mike to ask him to babysit you and me."

Stacy sighed, "If only she knew of Michael's recent babysitting skills."

"Yeah, and he'll be getting an earful for that. Well have fun and stay safe and I'll make sure to take care of Gracie for you," Sam said.

"I will, and thank you Sammy," Stacy said.

"And don't forget to tell Mom before she leaves," Sam reminds her.

"Don't worry I won't," Stacy promised, "Bye Sammy." She then hung up the phone.
