Karan and Monami were standing at the door step.... Monami rotated her head scanning her surroundings when her eyes stuck on the name plate
"SHERGILL MANSION"
Beautifully craved in calligraphy on that black plate with golden borders....
Her trance was broken when she heard Karan
"Kya kar rahi hai Sanju yar! Kabse darwaze par khade hai hum"
"Sabar rakho na bhai...aa rahi hu" Sanju's voice came from the house
Monami's POV
Sanju was inside the house... It has been 10 mins we have arrived here and just when we were about to step in Sanju stopped us...
After the wait of 2 mins when this khadoos shergill was again about to call Sanju she came running with some item in her hands trying to balance herself... Aww she looks cute..
End of POV
"Huff!!!" Sanju gave all the items to faizi and kept her hand on her back
"Aree aree Sanju" faizi said as he was trying to balance himself at the sudden throw of items in his hands
Monami's couldn't help but a giggle escaped her mouth...
Sanju took one item from Faizi's hand and kept it down... A kalash with a thread tied on it filled with rice in it...
"Chalo ab aap isko dhere se girao" she said excitedly clapping her hands once
Monami smiled at Sanju's eagerness and then looked at Karan from coner of her eyes to see him already staring at her... She immediately looked down and slightly kicked the pot making the rice fall indicating the welcome of good luck, wealth and prosperity
"Woohoo! Ek min main aayi" saying this she ran
"San-" Karan was about to stop her but she ran.... He shaked his head
"Monami tumhe saas ki kami bilkul nahi hone degi ye Sanju" Faizi said laughing
"Acchaaaa" Sanju said from behind
She came and kept a big plate in front on Monami with Alta filled in it and then held Faizi's ears
"Fir maa kaan bhi kheech sakti hai"
"Aa Sanju chod de yar" Faizi whined
"Apko baad main dekhungi... Monu ab tu andar aa"
"Sanju ye sab kyu-" Monami started speaking
"Rituals hai Monu... Maa hoti to bhi karti" she said and looked down
Everyone turned silent... More like upset
"Sanju" monami called her Sanju looked up while Monami nodded in a no
"Chalo bhai... Ab meri saas bol rahi hai to karna padega" Monami said to lighten the three's mood

Monami stepped in the plate and was about to loose her balance when karan held her... She looked up in his eyes... They were lost in each other.... Karan slowly removed her hair from her face
"Ahem ahem!" The other 2 fake coughed
Monami looked down breaking the eye lock and karan made her stand... He held her hand while she stepped out on the white carpet like sheet and walked further marking the entrance of goddess Lakshmi

Suresh was secretly watching all this from his room... He went inside and called someone
On call
Suresh: "Ab aage kya karna hai?! Jo karna hai jaldi karo... Ye Monami mere raste ka kata ban chuki hai.... Kuch bhi karu humesha ulta hota hai.... Karan ko apni taraf Karne ke koshish ki thi itni muskil se uss ke dimag main nafrat bhari thi... Kya hua shaadi kar li karan se usse... Mann karta hai to just shoot he-"
Person: "Monami ke baare main bakwas band kariye... Nahi to Karan ke saath saath main bhi...
Tumhara woh karan pagal hua tha Monami ke peeche naki meri Mona... Huh!
*Takes deep breath*
Meri baat suniye Jo karna hai Karo... Monami ki family par attack jaise phele kiya tha karo ya uss par mujhe farak nahi padhta bas ilzaam Karan par aana chahiye taki Monami uss Shergill se itni nafrat kare ki usse chod de... Uske baad Monami sirf meri... Itni dur le jaunga usse sab se ki koi humare beech nahi aayega
*Evil smirk*
Suresh: "Tumse bada pyaar main pagal maine kabhi nahi dekha... Itna sab phele karne ke baad bhi mann nahi bhara?"
Person: "Jab tak Monami nahi mil jati mujhe tab tak mujhe Jo karna padega main karunga...Ab aage ka kaam shuru karo"
Call ended
"Uff ab kya karu! Soch Suresh kuch soch! Kya karu jisse monami iss ghar se chali jaye" he said to himself and turned around
He was shocked to see Monami standing at the door step with an expressionless face
"Shit kahi sun to nahi liya!" Suresh thought to himself
"Kya hua chachajii, itna ghabra kyu rahe hai jaise koi chori pakdi gayi ho" Monami said with a little smirk forcing on the word chachaji
"Ku- kuch bh- bhi nahi"
Monami walked towards him while swear beads were formed on his forehead...she stopped and looked at him and suddenly bend down.. Suresh sighed in relief as he realised she was there to take blessings... He didn't said anything just placed his hand on her head
Monami got up and smiled a bit and started leaving
"Ye mat samajhna ki sar par haath rakh diya to tumhe accept kar liya... Karan chahata ye shaadi ho isliye hui hai... Maine tumhe kabhi iss ghar ki bhau ka darja nahi diya hai....." Suresh said from behind
Monami stopped and looked back
"Chachi ji maine kab kaha ki mujhe apse aashirwad chahiye! Formality thi kar di" she said forcing a sweet smile
"Aur waise bhi agar apke mana karne ke baad bhi karan ne shaadi ki to fir agar karan chahega ki mujhe bhau hone ka sare hak mil jaye to woh bhi mil jayega... Nahi?" She said smirking
Suresh fumed in anger while Monami turned and left

"Monu chal na" Sanju said while she was pulling her up
"Kya hai Sanju... Kitni rasme main thak gayi.... Waise bhi tu janti hai ye shaadi kyu aur kaise hui hai" monami said
"Monu main janti hu yar... But chachu nahi jante isiliye ye kar rahi hu... Unhe yahi lagta hai dono shadi se kush hai... Sun yar woh buddha- argh I mean chachu mujhe waise hi pasand nahi aur kafi suspicious bhi lagte hai... Unko pata chala na ki ye shaadi kaise hui hai pata nahi kya tamasha banayenge...
Aur yar mom hoti tab bhi ye karti na monu"
Monami nodded at her last words
"Huff! Fine chal" she said and both got up and move downstairs
As they were coming down Monu saw Karan sitting with faizi... A big container with milk and rose petal kept on his right.... he was talking with faizi
Monami kept staring him... Indeed he was hot...
He was fair indeed, His unfathomable, golden brown eyes contrasted exceptionally with his natural toned face. His eyes were as deep and expressive, where you could get lost if you stared long enough. His face had that faraway look in it, which cannot be described in words. His smile, which reached up to his eyes and wrinkled them, and when that turns into smirk...oh god not girl can resist falling for him... Above all was his frame and his stature. His sharp jawline which was covered with little hairs....
Finding a long gaze on him Karan turned towards the stairs just to have an eye lock with his lady love.... Monami instantly broke the eye lock and mentally slapped herself for checking him out since long
Monami came and sat down in front of Karan
"Ab hume kya karna hai Mata" moran Said together
"So ab aap mujhe apni rings doge aur main usse iss main dalungi aur fir Jo bhi jeetega uska raaj chalega"
Both of them looked into each other's eyes while Sanju mixed the rings
"Start"
Both af them immediately started finding the rings... They both were looking at each other with challenging eyes...
Monami suddenly gasped as she felt a hand enclosing her hands together.. Monami tried to pull her hand but the grip tightened... She looked at Karan and gave him a glare which he ignored...
She looked at faizi hand Sanju... Fortunately both were busy arguing who will win...
Monami looked at Karan again and started pulling her hands to which Karan pulled his hand making Monami come closer to him... The pot in middle helped her or else she would be in his lap... Monami now pleaded him to leave her hand through eyes but karan kept smiling...
Monami finally hit him with her nails making him leave her hand and she pulled it out immediately...
Faizi and Sanju looked at them...
They both scanned at their hands to see who had the ring when Faizi shouted
"Dekha kaha tha na Maine Karan jeetega"
"Oh hello ek min bhai ke haath main ring kaha hai??" Sanju said while Monami too looked confused
"Karan ke haath main nahi Monami ke haath main dekho...."
Sanju and Monami both looked at her hand just to find the ring in her ring finger... Monami was surprised... She looked at him while he just kept smiling... She again looked down at her ring and then smiled a little....
