It is now a few days after Christmas, and Kara and Lena have been having a pretty good time together over the last few days. This is because after Christmas Eliza decided to stay with Kara, Lena and Alura until after New Year's, and spend more time with her family. In turn, Lena and Kara have both been very happy about this, as it has allowed the two mothers to have some alone time together, while Eliza occupies Alura for the day, taking her out and doing all sorts of things, with Ruby joining them on a few occasions. However, in this alone time, Kara and Lena have not just been filling it with having a bunch of sex, as might be expected, although they have been doing just that some of the time. Kara and Lena have been also using the time to actually start to make some serious plans about their wedding. So, over the last few days Lena and Kara have decided that their wedding will be on May 25th, outside in a nice spot at the redwood forests Kara and Lena have found, and made arrangements to reserve for the day. Then, their reception will be taking place in a hotel not too far away, which Kara and Lena have bought out for the weekend of their wedding. This has all meant that Kara and Lena have made some major decisions about their wedding, and now only have to do the more minor things, which include, what they are going to wear, what food is going to be served, and a few other things like that. These decisions have all been made a lot easier due to the fact that the two parents haven't had to look after Alura the whole time. So, for instance, when Kara and Lena were deciding where exactly they were going to get married, they quickly visited all the outdoor locations by Kara flying them there, which is not something they would be able to do with Alura. This ultimately meant that Kara and Lena were able to look at all their potential wedding locations in a day, instead of multiple days or weeks.
Right now, it is a few days before New Year's Eve, basically the middle of the week between Christmas and New Year's, and Kara and Lena are currently cuddled on the couch, completely naked, having spent their morning since Eliza took Alura out having a lot of sex with each other. Lena and Kara were both able to do this because for the holiday period Lena has given everyone at both L-Corp and CatCo time off, so neither Lena nor Kara actually have to go to work or anything. However, seeing as CatCo is a news organisation there are still some staff members working, but they are all working from the comforts of their homes, and are people who actually volunteered to work over the holiday period, and are being paid double because of that.
"Hmmmm.... that was great." Lena hums, happily, now catching her breath as she sits on her couch cuddled with Kara naked.
"Yeah, it was." Kara smiles.
When Kara and Lena have not been wedding planning, the duo have been taking every opportunity to have sex all around their penthouse, including on their roof, in their swimming pool, in the kitchen, on their couches, and even out on one of their balconies. They have not only been doing this because of Eliza taking Alura out and about with her, but also because the wedding planning has very much been a turn on for both Kara and Lena. Both women have just been getting so excited about the prospect of finally marrying each other, it has left them completely hot and heavy.
"I think I need another 10 minutes to recover.... But then I fully plan to repay you for the orgasms you just gave me." Lena smiles, happily.
Kara chuckles.
"You've already given me a few today, babe." Kara replies, kissing Lena on one of her cheeks.
"Yes. I've only given you 3, but you have given me 7." Lena says.
Kara chuckles once more.
"You've really been counting?" Kara asks.
"Well yeah." Lena smirks.
Kara simply rolls her eyes.
Kara and Lena then just continue to sit there on their couch, cuddling with each other, both recovering, for the next few minutes. Eventually Lena imitates things once more by taking Kara in for a passionate kiss, which is all the signal Kara needs to know things are back on. However, just as Kara and Lena are really getting into things again, and running their hands over each other's naked bodies, there's a knock at their penthouse door.
"What the...." Kara says confused, knowing that usually they get alerts about people coming up their private elevator.
Lena quickly turns and looks at her phone on the coffee table in their living room, and that is when she sees that she did get an alert, they just completely missed it.
"Crap. I guess Eliza and Alura are back early." Lena says.
Kara grows a big pout on her face upon hearing Lena say that. Lena notices and chuckles, before taking Kara in for a tender kiss.
"Don't worry, darling. Eliza is still going to be here for a few more days. We'll have plenty of time to continue this." Lena says.
Kara and Lena then kiss for a few moments, and once more they are interrupted by a knock at their penthouse door.
"Guys, put some clothes on and answer the door!" Alex calls out.
"Alex?" Lena and Kara say to each other, confused.
Kara then quickly uses her superspeed to dress both herself and Lena, knowing that she can't open the door naked, unless she really wants to mortify her sister. After this, with Lena still recovering from the jarring moment of being speed dressed by Kara, Kara goes to the front door and opens it to her sister.
"Hey Alex..... we weren't expecting you." Kara says.
Alex walks inside the penthouse, with a nervous look on her face.
"I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" Alex asks.
"Yes." Kara says.
"No." Lena says at the same time.
Alex looks between Kara and Lena for a few moments, before finally growing a slightly disgusted look on her face, clearly figuring out what the fiancés were doing.
"Gross." Alex says.
"Alright, why are you here then Alex?" Kara asks, with a huff.
"Right...." Alex nods, growing another nervous look on her face, and walking further into the penthouse.
Lena now gets up from the couch and walks over to the DEO agent, growing her own concerned look.
"Is something wrong Alex?" Lena asks, in a slightly worried voice.
"No!" Alex quickly says, "I just..... I came here..... because...... I've decided something.... and..... I guess I need to ask your permission..... and a big favour of you...."
"You can ask us anything Alex." Kara says, with a small smile on her face.
"I'm..... referring to Lena....." Alex says.
"Oh." Kara replies.
Lena now walks closer to Alex, looking her future sister-in-law in the eyes, with a caring look on her face.
"What do you need to ask me, Alex?" Lena says, "You know I'd do just about anything for you."
"I know." Alex nods, growing a small smile on her face, "It's just.... I'm not used to this sort of thing.... asking other people for favours and for help and everything...."
"Well.... just take your time with it." Lena says.
"Right...." Alex nods, and takes a deep breath, "So..... I know that it's literally really short notice and everything.... and only in a few days time.... But...... I was thinking of proposing to Sam at your New Year's Eve party, just before midnight."
"Oh wow." Lena says.
"That's great, Alex!" Kara says, with a big smile.
"Yeah... I just.... I wanted to check with you first Lena.... It's your party and everything.... I didn't want to do it if there's no nice place for me and Sam to have a private moment.... away from other people..... and also as it's your party.... I want your permission anyway." Alex says.
"Of course you have my permission, Alex." Lena quickly says, "And as for there being good places to do it, away from other people, there are several. We are hosting the New Years' party at one of the hotels overlooking the ocean. There are a few lovely romantic spots where other guests won't be allowed, but I'll make sure you and Sam are, where you can propose."
Alex breathes a sigh of relief after Lena says that.
"That's good. Thank you, Lena." Alex says.
"Of course, Alex." Lena smiles, widely.
There is then a brief silence in the room.
"I have to ask, Alex." Kara eventually says, "You're not usually the type to do something like this without a plan or anything. Like, I know you have already told both of us that you plan to propose to Sam and everything, but doing this on such short notice is really not like you. Like, do you even have a ring?"
"No... I uhh... don't.... that's actually something else I wanted to ask you about, Lena." Alex says, "But..... you're right, Kara..... I'm not normally like this.... Normally I really like to plan things ahead.... You've known that about me ever since we were kids. I'm not the spontaneous type, I like structure. I think that's one of the reasons I like working at the DEO so much.... But.... I'm getting off track.... The reason that I want to propose to Sam at New Year's.... is because...... I already knew I wanted to do it.... I just.... knew I would have to wait for a good opportunity to do it.... and like.... this morning.... even though neither Sam or I have work..... and Ruby's out with mom..... Sam still got up early and made me breakfast in bed..... for no reason whatsoever.... It made me realise how much I love her.... and also know that I don't want to wait to propose to Sam.... I want to call her my fiancé now. It must sound stupid."
Lena grows a big smirk on her face after hearing Alex say that.
"It doesn't sound stupid at all, Alex. I felt the exact same way when I was planning to propose to Kara. You have no idea how agonising it was for me to wait until her birthday to propose. There were so many occasions where I almost ruined it all and nearly got down on one knee and proposed randomly prior to her birthday, just because of how much I love her." Lena replies.
Kara grows a big smile on her face after Lena says that.
"You never told me that, Lee." Kara says.
"Well, it's true." Lena says back, with a loving smile.
Kara and Lena then simply look at each other with such loving looks on their faces for a few moments.
"Well, anyway....." Alex interrupts, "That's why I want to propose to Sam at New Years, and am being spontaneous."
"Right." Kara nods, breaking her eye contact with Lena.
"Okay.... So.... what do you need my help with in regards to the ring?" Lena asks, "Do you need a loan or something to buy it?"
"No!" Alex quickly says, "I have enough money to get the ring.... It's just..... the ring I want to get Sam.... it has to be custom made.... I've read online that they can do it in a few days.... But.... they wouldn't do a rushed order like that for a nobody like me... So... I just.... I kind of need the Lena Luthor name and influence to help me."
Lena grows another smile on her face after Alex says that.
"Okay." Lena says, "Let's go to the store now, and I'll use my influence, or threaten the jewellers if I have to."
"Really?" Alex replies.
"Of course." Lena smiles back.
"Great!" Alex says, happily, "I have my car parked downstairs, I can drive us all to the store now."
"That sounds good to me." Kara smiles.
"Uhhh.... yeah...." Lena replies, in a certain voice, "I just.... I need a few minutes to change."
Kara now grows a confused look on her face at Lena saying that.
"Why do you need to change, you look fine like that?" Kara says, "And I'm sure at this point every minute may count for Alex to get the ring in time before New Year's Eve."
"I just.... I don't think this outfit is appropriate." Lena replies, awkwardly.
Kara grows another confused look on her face now, while Alex grows a slightly confused look too, as Lena looks absolutely fine. Lena is literally dressed in some jeans with a nice top, which is something Lena usually would wear when going out and about and not to L-Corp.
"It's fine, Lee.... Come on, let's just go." Kara says, thinking that maybe her girlfriend thinks she needs to dress up more for the jewellery store.
Lena huffs in frustration at Kara saying that.
"I need to change my bra, Kara, because when you speed put both our clothes back on.... you put your bra on me.... and it's a bit too tight for me to comfortable walk around in." Lena says.
Kara literally turns white as a sheep at Lena saying that.
"UGH GROSS!!!" Alex groans.
"Sorry. I tried to just say I had to change without explaining further, but your sister wouldn't let it go." Lena says to Alex.
"The two of you are going to really scar me for life at one point." Alex mutters, shaking her head.

It is now about 15 minutes later, and Kara, Lena and Alex have just entered the jewellery store, with Alex and Lena now talking with the worker of the store.
"I'm afraid, as I have told Miss Danvers already, getting the ring made in that timeframe is simply impossible." The store worker says.
Lena huffs in response.
"Are you aware who I am?" Lena asks.
"I uhmmm.... yes.... You are Miss Lena Luthor, owner of L-Corp, and brother of...." The store worker begins.
"Then you are aware that my name carries a significant amount of weight behind it." Lena interrupts, "and if I were to say..... mention how this particular store is one to be avoided.... to all of my other.... rich contacts.... then that would cause this business to take quite a hit..... wouldn't it?"
"Miss Luthor I...." The store worker begins, again.
"No." Lena interrupts again, "My future sister-in-law has already told me that she has found out that you have made similar arrangements with other people to produce rings like the one she is asking for on short notice. So, I expect you to do the exact same for her. Whatever the cost is, I'll pay it."
"I uhmmmm..... I'll have to check and see..." The store worker now stammers.
"You do that." Lena nods.
The store worker then nervously makes his way to the back of the store, and disappears from sight. Lena knows that he's likely calling his boss now to check to see what he should do.
"Lena.... I told you I'm not letting you pay for the ring." Alex says.
"I know, Alex." Lena replies, "But to have the ring for New Years, it is going to be very expensive, and I know you won't be able to reasonably afford that. So, let me just pay for the costs of the rush order of this ring, and you can pay for the value of the ring itself. I have more money than I know what to do with Alex, let me do this for you and Sam. If you like, you can call it an early engagement present."
Alex looks at Lena, not saying anything for a few moments, with Kara standing off to the side, looking at both Lena and Alex herself.
"Okay... thank you, Lena." Alex says.
"You're very welcome. What are sisters for?" Lena smiles.
A few moments later, the store worker comes back.
"Okay.... I just spoke to my manager.... and he said we should be able to do everything on time.... But.... it will cost extra for this rush order.... at this time of year." The store worker explains.
"That's fine." Lena replies, "Just make sure we have the ring before 6PM on New Year's Eve."
"Yes. We should be able to do that." The store worker nods.
After this, Lena and Alex discuss the details with the store worker, of where and when they will receive the ring, and Lena then pays for everything herself, telling Alex that she can just pay her the price of the ring on a later date, money which Lena fully intends to just donate to charity.

It is now a few days later, New Year's Eve, and Alex is starting to get pretty nervous, as today is the day that she plans to propose to Sam, but she still doesn't have the ring yet. Currently, it is only 4PM, and Lena is going to collect the ring at 6PM from the store, before giving it to Alex once they all arrive at the New Year's Eve party location at around 8PM. The problem for Alex is until she actually has the ring physically in her hands, she is going to be scared that something will go wrong, and she won't be able to propose today, and she really really wants to. Alex honestly feels like she might burst if she doesn't propose to Sam tonight. Alex loves Sam so much, more than anything.
"Alright, Alex...." Sam says, standing up from the couch in their living room where they both currently are, "I'm going to go and have my shower now."
"Really? We still have a while before we have to leave." Alex says, confused, checking the time.
"That's just the time the party begins. Lena and Kara are going to be arriving at the hotel to make sure everything is in order at like 6:30. I think we should meet up with them shortly after that, and maybe we can all eat something together before the party begins at 8? And also help Kara and Lena with any issues that might crop up." Sam says.
"Yeah, okay." Alex nods, with a smile.
"I'll see you in a bit." Sam smiles, and then takes Alex in for a brief kiss, before leaving the living room and heading upstairs.
Once Sam leaves the living room, Alex just sits there, fidgeting a bit, being very nervous at the thought of proposing to Sam in only a few hours time. Honestly, for Alex this whole thing has been so spontaneous, and she hasn't even thought as to what she is going to say exactly to Sam. The only planning Alex has done, other than buying the ring, is decide the location of where she is going to propose, which is mostly thanks to Lena sending her pictures of different locations in and around the hotel that will be available. Alex, for her part, as chosen a rooftop garden area, with a nice water feature, and some hedges around it, as where she will propose to Sam, and Lena has already made arrangements so that no one else will be allowed up there.
Alex is eventually interrupted from her thoughts by the sound of Ruby coming downstairs, and walking into the kitchen, pouring herself a glass of water. Upon seeing this, Alex realises that she has to ask Ruby a question now.
"Hey, Ruby?" Alex calls out.
"Yeah?" Ruby replies.
"Could you come here for a second, please?" Alex asks.
Ruby pours herself her drink, sips some of it, and then walks into the living room area, taking a seat on the couch next to Alex.
"What's up?" Ruby asks.
"So uhmmm...... I need you to promise me something first..... promise me that you won't tell your mom what I'm about to tell you.... I promise it's nothing bad." Alex says.
Ruby gets a confused look on her face at Alex saying that to her.
"Uhhh.... okay.... I promise." Ruby replies a few moments later.
"Great!" Alex smiles back, feeling relieved already, "So uhmmmm.... I wanted to talk to you.... because I love your mom very much.... and..... tonight..... if it's okay with you..... I would like to propose to her."
Ruby's eyes go wide at Alex saying this.
"You want to propose to mom?!" Ruby says, with a big smile.
"Yeah." Alex nods.
"Do you have a ring?" Ruby asks, sounding excited.
"Sort of. I don't have it on me right now. It's still being made and everything. Aunt Lena is going to be picking it up from the store at 6, and giving it to me once we arrive at the party this evening." Alex explains.
"So, aunt Lena knows?" Ruby asks.
"Yes, both Lena and Kara know. You are the only other person I have told so far. But again, I'm asking for your blessing. If you are uncomfortable with this, then I won't propose." Alex says.
"Of course I'm not uncomfortable!" Ruby exclaims, taking Alex in for a hug, "You love mom, and you love me. I'm sooooo excited!"
Alex chuckles, and grows a very big smile on her face.
"Yeah, that's all true." Alex replies, "But I'll admit, I'm a tad nervous."
"Why?" Ruby replies, "Do you think mom will say no?"
Alex chuckles again, this time nervously.
"No. I'm pretty sure she'll say yes. But.... proposing to someone is still a bit of a nerve wrecking thing.... I've never done it before after all." Alex says.
"Hmmm.... I get it." Ruby nods, "How do you plan to do it?"
Alex then tells Ruby all about her plans for how she is going to propose to Sam, and Ruby even helps her come up with some ideas as to what to say. Alex is just relieved that Ruby is excited about the proposal. That's one hurdle down, only a few more to go.

Kara and Lena have just arrived at the hotel Lena has rented out for her New Year's party, having stopped off at the ring store to pick up Alex's ring she will propose to Sam with tonight. This evening, Kara and Lena are actually both wearing dresses for once, with Kara wearing an incredible red long dress, with a slit at the bottom that shows one of her legs, and allows better movement. Then Lena is wearing a blue dress, to compliment Kara's red one, that is long flowing like Kara's, but with a bit more volume at the bottom, while also showing off a lot more of her chest than Kara's dress. Of course, it's needless to say that neither of these dresses came cheap, but, after all, Lena is a billionaire, and she was very adamant to Kara that they would both have to dress incredible in some amazing designer dresses this evening.
Right now, Kara and Lena are the only ones at the hotel, because Lena has arrived an hour and a half early with Kara to make sure everything is in place for the party. Lena's assistant will also be arriving soon to help Lena. But the two mothers have not brought Alura with them at the moment, because they thought it would be for the best if Alura came later, with Eliza, and was allowed to have an afternoon nap, so she didn't end up all sleepy leading up to midnight.
"I'm so excited!" Kara says to Lena, as they both walk around the areas which have been set up for all the guests, looking at everything.
Lena chuckles.
"Are you excited for the party, or the free food?" Lena asks, with a smirk.
"You know I'm referring to Alex proposing to Sam....... mostly." Kara says.
Lena chuckles once more.
"Fair enough." Lena smirks.
"Let me see the ring again!" Kara says.
"Alright." Lena replies.
Lena then gets the ring box out of her small clutch purse she is carrying and opens it, revealing the ring to herself and Kara. The ring itself, at a glance, just looks like a standard engagement ring with a decent sized diamond and a silver band, however, upon closer look, you can see all the intricate detail woven into the silver wedding band.
"It really is beautiful." Kara says.
"Yeah." Lena nods, "But I still prefer ours."
"Me too." Kara smiles, and then takes Lena in for a brief kiss.
"Oh.... I uh.... I'm sorry to interrupt." Eve says, suddenly entering the area Kara and Lena are in, and noticing them kissing.
"That's okay, Eve." Lena smiles, as she turns to look at her assistant.
Eve smiles back at Lena, and then grows a confused look on her face upon seeing the engagement ring.
"Uhhhh..... Are you proposing to each other again?" Eve asks, confused.
Lena and Kara both chuckle, realising how the sight must look to Eve.
"No. This ring is for someone else." Lena smiles, and then closes the ring and puts it back into her clutch purse.
"Ooooo... exciting!" Eve smiles.
"Yes. It is." Kara nods, with a smile of her own.
"Anyway, have you had a chance to review everything?" Lena asks Eve, getting down to the more business aspect of the party now.
"Yes." Eve nods, "The hotel has all the food and alcohol ready to go, and will have wait staff walking about offering people drinks and food, as well as food on the tables you can see laid about all the different areas. I've been told that the staff will make sure that the food is constantly kept in stock, and we won't run out, and any food that has gone cold will be taken away and restocked with hot food. They are confident we won't run out."
"Hmmm... we will see about that." Lena says, referring to the fact that Kara's appetite knows no bounds.
