I turned back and stared at V. He gave me an assured look. The figure flied near my window. He climed through the window as I stare at him dumbfounded. V helped him through the window. Once he was through, they gave each other a bro hug. I softened looking at them. Their friendship must be so...I don't know. Once they're done, the new guy looked at me.
"Hi, My name is Jungkook. I've been your demon since you were 5." He introduced himself to me.
He's my demon since I was 5? Cool. They started talking about their demon stuff when I packed my bag and get the necessary things for school. "Bye guys. Going to school now. Nice to meet you Jungkook."
I went out of my room and went down the stairs. I saw Seyeon sitting on the dining table eating instant noodles. She looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back. I sat across her and ate the bowl of noodles in front of me.
"Who made this?" I asked Seyeon. "Me. Is it bad?" She asked me.
"No! Its delicious, Se." I smiled warmly at ber and continued eating. "Unnie? What happened with mom? She didn't come home yesterday." Seyeon asked me.
I stayed quiet. I don't know what to answer. The truth? Or just lie? "I don't know. Maybe she's busy with work?" I replied. Tears started to form in my eyes as I replay the scene of mom...dying. I blink the tears away. Seyeon just nodded and continued eating. Once we are done eating, we weared our shoes and went to school. We rarely went to school together.
Cause, practically, we're not that close. But now...since mom's gone, I need to keep an eye on her. We walked silently to school, nobody started a conversation.
Once we reach school, we parted ways. I searched for Yerim, usually she'll wait for me by the gates. But, now, I don't see her anywhere. I walked in the school and went to my locker. I saw a note stuck there.
Hayeon,
I don't think we could be friends anymore..sorry.
Yerim.
I stared at the paper. My legs suddenly go numb. This was what I was afraid of the most. Losing my one and only friend. I took a deep breath and opened my locker. I took my books as usual and went to my class. I went in the class and ignored all the looks. I walked to my seat and slumped on the chair.
Why would Yerim do this to me? This is not Yerim at all. I sighed and burried my head on my hands. I took another deep breath and looked up.
"Yeon, don't be sad. You have us. Me and Jungkook for now remember? We'll never leave you." I heard V's voice in my head. I smiled. His voice really makes me calmer. "Thanks V." I replied and then the teacher went in. I sat up straighter and tried to focus.

I walked to my locker to put my back my books at the end of the day. While I was putting my books in, I heard footsteps heading towards me. It was kinda late because I had extra classes today. I paniced. I closed the locker shut and turned to only find Jihye and her gang behind me. Ugh. They're the ones behind all the hate I get.
(Flashback)
"How dare you steal my boyfriend! Look what have you done to my life!" Jihye shouted at me.
"I didn't do anything Jihye. You're making stories. If you hate me just go away. Don't bother me." I said calmly while walking away.
"Where do you think you're going?! I'm not done with you!" She stomped to me and planted a slap on my face. I felt a sting on my cheek.
"I. Didn't. Do. Anything. Wrong. Go ahead with your acting Jihye I don't care cause I didn't do anything wrong!" I shouted at her.
She kicked me on my stomach as I fell down on to the floor. All the people gasped. Some wanted to help me stand but Jihye gave them looks of daggers. She gave me one more kick before she sashayed back to class. I cursed under my breath. I stood up and walked with small steps to the nurse's office.

I stared at their gang. I noticed a new face in their gang.
"Yerim?!" I said clearly shocked with what I just saw. I realised that her appearance changed too. She used makeup today. Her hair was perfectly curled, too. Her skirt was shorter than usual and the first two buttons of her shirt was open. She just rolled her eyes. What happened to the cute, bubbly girl I used to know? I stared at her for a long time.b
Suddenly, I can hear her thoughts.
Ugh, I hate this new costume, she said. Its annoying and weird. The skirt is too short too, she continued. Who cares though? I don't like Hayeon from the beggining, with that one sentence, my heart broke. I cut my view from ber and turned to Jihye.
"What do you want Jihye?" I muttered coldly.
"Well, I just want to introduce you to our new member. As you can see over there." She smirked.
"So what? You want to maje me plead to you for Yerim back? You think I'm that weak?" I shot her back.
She smirked again.
"Oh...so you don't care about Yerim. Fine then. Let's finish her girls." She mentioned her gang to you know beat me up.
Jihye kicked me and I fell to the floor.
"What did I do wrong again Jihye? I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG!!! I NEVER DID ANYTHING WRONG TO YOU!" I shouted.
She stopped hitting me. I stood up. I walked near her.
"You can't hit me now don't you?" I smirked at her. I can see the panic rise through her.
"G-guys....h-help me..." She squeaked.
All the other girls shook their heads and stepped back.
I looked at her. I smirked. "Is this my turn now to 'finish' you? I'll take that as a yes."
I slapped her hard. She gave out a small sound. I can tell she wants to hit me, but she can't.
I looked at her one last time.
"Don't you dare, bully me, or any other kid, again. Because you know what? People who bully are weak, useless people." I said to her and carried my bag to the lobby of the school. I saw on the corner of my eye she and her gang discussing something. I won this time. I felt a little bit proud of myself.
"Well done Hayeon. I didn't think you could do that." I heard V's voice in my head.
"Well, thank you. I didn't think I could pull that off too myself." I said, I couldn't hide my smile.
