Phoenix's pov
I looked around the office with a sigh. Mayas been pushing me to spend more time with Edgeworth in hopes that I'll confess to him. She must think this is some visual romance novel! Either way I'm exhausted and ready to relax in my own company-
"hello Wright"
"ahhhhh!" I spun around to see Edgeworth smiling at me.
"you certainly are jumpy aren't you Wright?" he chuckled. God his laugh is cut- no phoenix don't get distracted!
"what are you doing here Edgeworth?"
He sighed as he placed a hand on his cheek "Well I was sitting alone in my office peacefully enjoying my tea when your messy office came to mind. The thought distrubed me so much that I drove right over here to help you clean it"
"you came all this way to help me clean?" I raised an eyebrow. How OCD can one man be!
"I told you the thought greatly distrubed me" he said as he threw a bottle of cleaning spray my way. I thankfully caught it before it hit my face "now come Wright. Let's clean this rats nest you call an office"
*time skip*
"and done" Edgeworth said proudly as we finally finished cleaning. I however was passed out on my desk. I've never worked so hard in my life!
"oh look at the time" Edgeworth snuck a glance at his watch "it's about time for lunch. I'll put something on for us nick"
My head shot up "did you just call me nick?"
He immediately looked panicked "ah my apologies. It's just that Larry and maya called you nick so I thought I would be ok-"
"hey it's fine" I said gently "I actually like it"
He blushed slightly "in that case then I insist you call me Miles"
"ok miles" I smiled at him. He's being surprisingly bashful right now. It's actually pretty cute.
Oh god I'm falling even harder for him now!
