I woke up with my eyes feeling heavy and my head hurting. I blinked before looking next to me and seeing Ethan asleep. I got up quietly and kissed his head before taking a shower and getting dressed
(But its a full length t-shirt instead of the tank-top)
I knew I wasn't going to be doing much today so I put on sweats and left my hair alone in its natural waves. When I was done I walked out of the bathroom to see Ethan awake"Hey El how you feeling" he asked, I shrugged "Ok I guess" I said quietly "Did I hurt anybody"I asked he looked away "Ethan" I said sitting in front of him criss cross "Enzo, he got to close and you hit him" He answered looking at me before looking at the wall.
I turned my head and seen a dent, I gasped slightly before getting up and walking to it. I put my hand on it lightly tracing it before I placed my hand on it looking at what happened last night. It was like a movie that was slightly colored and I was a ghost watching it. I continued to watch as I flinched from Henry to when I blasted Enzo. I flinched feeling bad that I hurt my mate. I watched as Ethan said something to me before leaving along with the other then him coming back about 20 minutes later.
I pulled my hand back and looked at Ethan with a frown "I did-didn't mean to hurt him, I didn't know it was him" I said quietly moving away from the wall "I'm a bad mate" I whispered "Hey no your not ok you were just scared. You weren't thinking straight and that's OK but Ella they deserve to know what happened" Ethan said grabbing my hand, I shook my head "No no they'll hate me" I said still shaking my head
"Eliza they won't hate you okay, they won't hate you want to know why" he asked "Because they love you'' he answered his own question "And they are worried about you and worried for you" He said "So are the others Tyler and Care look worried and sad and Jeremy looks like he's blaming himself, they are worried Ella they won't hate you I promise" he promised looking in my eyes
I closed my eyes "I can't not right now" I said shaking my head "Its already began,soon Klaus will come and Stefan will brings a Ripper, I'll lose Elijah it's to much" I said looking at him "Eliza the longer you wait the more people you'll have to tell" he reasoned, I looked down with a tear falling from my eye
I sighed and wiped it away before biting my lip "Ok" I said nodding "Ok" I repeated looking at him "Yea" he said smiling "Yea" I replied with a watery laugh "Are you sure we can do it another day " he asked "Yea I'm sure, I wanna do it now" I replied he kissed my head "Let's go, I'm pretty sure Henry will break down your door as soon as he knows your awake or when he wakes up" he jokes, I laughed before hugging him "Thank you for being my brother Ethan" I said in his chest "Thank you for being my sister Eliza" he replied hugging me
We pulled away and Ethan dragged me down stairs "Morning" he said as we walked in the kitchen,everybody stopped what they were doing and stared at us, I started shifting uncomfortably under their stares "Hey" I whispered that seemed to break them out of it as Caroline vamped towards me and tackled me to the floor " Care" I groaned before she was pulled off of me and I was picked up "Thanks" I said to Tyler who looked at me before hugging me tightly "I'm sorry" He mumbled I pulled back and looked at him confused "Why" I asked
"Because I let you get kidnapped" He answered "Tyler I chose to do that it wasn't your fault" I reassured he gave me a smile before moving and letting Jeremy hug me and by his face I can tell hes been crying which makes my heart hurt "I'm sorry" I said hugging him as he had a vice grip on me "I didn't mean to scare you" I continued "What happened Liza" He asked his voice cracking at the end I sighed and ran my hands through his hair "I guess it's time huh" I asked rhetorically pulling away before furrowing my eyebrows "Where's Henry, Enzo and Elijah" I asked they looked away "Guys" I asked "Henry has locked himself in his room" Tyler answered "Enzo and Elijah" I asked
"Enzo is in the gym hitting everything in sight apart and Elijah is also in the gym " Caroline answered "I'll go get them and then I'll you what happened"I said they nodded and Caroline hugged me one more time "I'm happy that your ok" She whispered before pulling away, I smiled at her before going down to the gym breathing out when I heard grunts and hisses. I opened the door to see Enzo absolutely beating up a fighting dummie and Elijah hitting a punching bag and what surprised me was that he wasn't wearing his suit jacket and had his sleeves rolled up. I cleared my throat, they both immediately sped to me and squished me in a sandwich hug with both of their face in my necks "Hi" I muttered holding both of them
"You scared me Astin" Elijah mumbled "I almost killed this whole town gorgeous never do that again" Enzo stated "I'm sorry I threw you against the wall" I said hugging him "Its fine gorgeous I know you didn't mean to" He told me "Mean to or not I am still sorry" I told him firmly "Now come I have a lot to tell you and the others are waiting plus I still need to get Henry" I told them softly they moved away from me hesitantly before grabbing my hands and letting me lead them up stairs and into the living room were I made them wait and stay while I got Henry
I climbed up the stairs fearfully and hesitantly could I really tell my mates what happened to me what would Elijah think especially since he just met me, how will Henry and Enzo react since they've know me the longest especially Henry who might be hella angry that I didn't tell him sooner and what about Tyler, Caroline and Jeremy.
I think Jeremy might go crazy for me telling him and I think Caroline and Tyler might spend the night in the gym. I grimaced and refocused noticing I made it to Henry's door. I slowly brought my hand up and knocked on the door. When I got no response I knocked again before entering his room. As if sensing my presence he woke up and turned to me sitting up in his bed
It was a tense silence before I decided to speak " You look peaceful when you sleep" I said he scoffed "Really" He said "That's all you have to say to me right now" He asked in disbelief " I love you" I cheered softly " I love you too but that's not what I was hoping for Ella" He spoke looking at me with narrowed eyes "Come down stairs I'm about to explain what happened yesterday to everyone" I sighed out, he got up and walked over to me towering over me slightly "Promise" He asked "Promise" I repeated he sighed and nodded before walking down stairs after kissing my head.
I winced internally no going back now I though walking down stairs to see everybody sitting down. I gulped before sitting down in front of them trying to ignore their piercing stares, I sighed and looked at my hands before looking at them "Take your time Ellie" Ethan spoke looking at me with a small frown, I sent him a reassuring smile before straightening my back and taking a deep breath "It all started when we were seven and five" I started shakily "Ethan has sneezed and caused a lamp to fall of the dresser" I continued as I watched Ethan and Jeremy's eyes flash with recognition " I remember that you threw your hand out and caught the lamp" Jeremy stated "But what does that have to do with this" He questioned tilting his head
I licked my suddenly dry lips "Cause this power is what caused the problem" I grumbled making an orb and bouncing it around on my fingers
"When I was thirteen I was practicing on controlling them with some blocks'' I continued "I guess I forgot to lock the door that day" I said dryly "Grayson came barging into the room and caught me using my powers" I said bitterly barely registering my Mates clenched hands and jaws or my sibling wide eyes "He asked me to show him my powers and when I said no he demanded me too and knowing what I know I didn't think it wise to disobey him, guess I fucked up on that one" I scoffed out a dry laugh wiping the ears that were building in my eyes
"After I showed him, he dragged me down stairs kicking and screaming, my screaming attracted Miranda who ran in from the kitchen and asked Grayson what was going on" I paused remembering it like it happened yesterday "That bitch didn't even help me after Grayson did some type of hand motion, she just looked at me with no emotion before turning around and going back to the kitchen ignoring my calls for help" I said before I stood up and threw a glass vase at the wall "MY own god damn mother left me in the hands of my father" I said the words bitterly faintly registering how they flinched when the glass shatter into pieces "They bitch who favored her niece over her own children" I spat
"Anyways Grayson threw me in the car before sticking what I'm guessing was a sedative in my neck making me pass out" I said sitting back down as my mates growled "Tell me he didn't" Enzo snarled I ignored it and was about to continue the story which I'm guess he didn't like since he sped in front of me and stood me up holding me by my shoulders and looking into my eyes "Tell me he didn't do what I think your about to say Ella" He demanded scanning my face "Do what, whats happening" Caroline asked standing up, Enzo continued to scan my face before his fell and I smiled sadly at him
"I woke up on a cold metal table with my arms and wrists tied down" I spoke stroking Enzos' cheek before looking at everybody Henry and Elijah's body went rigid with Henry's magic flaring breaking windows and cups as well as vases, Caroline and Tyler were shaking with anger, Jeremy and Ethan had tears streaming down their faces
"What happened next Ella" Tyler asked with a strained voice I gave them a sad smile already knowing that they knew what happened next "Ella what happened next" Caroline asked her voice breaking "GOD DAMN IT ELLA WHAT FUCKIN HAPPENED NEXT" Henry shouted standing up his magic breaking all the windows "You know what happened" I spoke softly giving them sad smiles "Deny it Lizzy,Deny it right now" Jeremy said looking at me also standing "Tell me he didn't hurt you when we were kids, tell me that you fought him off and didn't get hurt, tell me that you were home safely and away from him, tell me he didn't hurt my big sister, please tell me that Lizzy please" Jeremy begged with tears in his eyes standing in front of me
"I'm sorry Remy" I whispered with tears in my eyes giving him a watery smile, he collapsed in my arms crying and holding me tightly "I'm so sorry" I whispered as I brought us down to the floor Enzo coming with us and hugging my back with his face in my neck him also crying "I never wanted you to know" I whispered to him as the others joined us on the floor in a group hug "I never wanted any of you to know'' I spoke "Why" Tyler asked with tears going down his cheek, I gently wiped them away and smiled softly at him before doing the same with everybody else and looking at them while Jeremy still clung to me "Because I know you well enough to know you would have blamed yourselves thinking you could have down something and I didn't want you to feel guilty about it especially because I didn't want you guys involved" I spoke running my hands through Jeremy's hair "Why not we are family we are supposed to protect you" Caroline asked "Because I'm family and I did it to protect you "I spoke smiling at them "I would do it again in a heartbeat if it meant protecting you" I said softly still smiling at them before we all settled in silence enjoying the group hug and me feeling better that I told them
