When I showed him,
the bruises of my past
Those stitches on my heart,
that failed to come apart
He went ahead
And added his scars

Two times
When I needed his comfort
And hear his voice,
to calm the battle in my mind

Two times
Was all it took
To change his mind
And part our ways,
to pack his bag
to run away
And never look back,
never in my eyes

Old dusty
Pages of the book
Hold the history
In the creases of its plane

The unwritten words,
that dwelled in his mind

The unworded emotions,
he never bonded with mine

Were all out
From the cage of the memoir,
lying beside me
In the pile of the unforgotten,
priceless dusty memories

It seems they were out,
his emotions and words
spinning the yarn,
just beneath my droopy eyes
How could I forget?
The most vital of the fact

That while reading a tale
from the dear old novels
We need to lay
our minds in the open,
perceive the hidden
meaning of the words

Oh how could I forget
When I just had
the simplest of tasks
in the palm of my hands

To read between the lines
when reading a book

To see the hidden meaning
behind the dancing
words of a tale

I wish I could have seen
earlier than it happened,
his masked emotions in his heart
or the unseen dirty
talk behind my back

I should have seen
the old pages more clearly,
read between the lines
a little more deeply,
But written on it
Is the story of my life

We meet many people in our lives but we don't always get to know how they truly are.
We find people who grow close to us gradually but a time comes when we see their true colours hiding behind a facade.

Or sometimes, they just don't care enough about us to support us till the end or who can accept the dirty secrets of our past and still stay with us...or someone who fights for you as much as you fight for them.

But remember, no matter what, you'll always have yourself.
Go through struggles and let them rest in the pile of the memories of the past.
Move forward in life but make peace with your dusty history.

It's all about living life in peace and happiness.
Keep your life memoir close to you coz one day you'll look back and smile, saying, you're glad you have come so far.

I hope get that one day <3

take care guys ♡
