"Teressa!!" a women yelled to wake the sleeping kid up. Teressa hated it , since the age of nine she knew what was going on with her and why she didnt feel comfortable in her body , it was because she isnt a girl. No , she's a boy so actually the right pronouns would be he/him or they/them but not she/her.
His chosen name was Tommy , same first letter like his dead name but he felt more comfortable with that than with his dead name. His case worker knew that ,too , but she always dead named him on purpose and told every foster family that he was a problem child and that she was sure they'd send him back in two weeks at most , she was always right.
"What!?" Tommy yelled back , he hated that goddamn women
"Someone wants to meet all the girls from 8-10! Get ready and be done in 10!" she yelled to him , just great. They want a daughter and she tells Tommy to come down , how would you react if you wanted a girl and then get a kid who ist ftm instead? Well all the familys he was with in the past years didnt react to well so why should they?
Tommy was hoping to not get picked by the family , sure he wanted to finally find a safe place to stay at but who would want a trans ftm when they want a daughter? He would rather stay here than have to deal with abuse or anything just to be the perfect daughter
Once Tommy had changed into decent comfortable clothes , a red hoodie with black pants , he walked downstairs to the room they always talked to the parents.
"Watsons , this is Teressa. Just so you know she's a bit.. how do i say it? A handfull" the worker explained "goodluck , and teressa. dont mess this up." she glared at Tommy and walked out of the room. The only reason his case worker said to not mess it up was because she wanted Tommy gone.
"Hello Teressa" Tommy looked infront of him and saw three man sitting there , a man with blond hair and a green hat sat in the middle and started to talk. Then there was a man with brown hair and a yellow sweater , he seemed like a musik nerd, he sat on the right of the blond man and looked really excited and lastly there was a boy with... pink hair? and glasses , he looked kind of bored but you could see that he was also a bit excited, in his eyes , he looked kind of cool tommy thought before getting pulled back to reality.
"Teressa? are you alright?" the blond said worried
"huh? oh ehm s-sorry.." tommy apologized and sat down on the other couch
"Its alright , im Philza but Phil is just fine and these are my sons. They are twins and both 17 , the one with brown hair is Wilbur or Wil for short and the one with pink hair is Techno" he explained to tommy with a smile , why did they all , minues Techno , smile so much?
"why dont you tell us something about yourself teressa?" Wibur asked
"eh- sure.. Im 11 y-years old.. i like to draw and write.." Tommy explained to them , he thought about what else he could say but honetly there was nothing else , what do you want to have for hobbies in the foster system? pretty hard to have something.
"what do you write?" Techno asked when he saw the exciting eyes of his annoying brother who couldnt get a word out.
"I write song textes..." tommy said a bit confused why the brown haired twin ,wilbur' looked so excited
"YES!" Wilbur yelled with a wide smile making Phil chuckled and Techno roll his eyes while Tommy sat there shocked at the yelling .
"sorry about that , Wil is a musician , he writes and posts songs with his band" Phil explained to tommy who looked shocked and confused , so he was right that the man is a music nerd.
"Alright teressa. time is up , watsons, she was the last one so i'll leave you for five minutes to decide" the worker came back in and didnt even let them speak , she grabbed Teressa by the arm and pulled her in her room
"i hope you never get adopted you useless child" the worker said before leaving the room.
Tommy sat down on his bed and took out his broken phone , he got it from a foster family and they let him keep it for some reason , he just scrolled on twitter for ten minutes before someone knocked on his door. Tommy thought it was that dumb lady again so he just ignored it but then The door was swung open and he let his phone fall out of shock
"AH!" he yelled when his phone fell "Noooooo" he whined and picked it up to see it was brocken even more now than it was before
"Stop whining you little baby. The family wants to try it with you so pack your stuff and just go." so it really was the dumb lady. but not only her, the twins came in his room
"hey , dad told us to help you and is your phone alright?" wilbur asked as they walked over to him
"oh eh..ye-" tommy couldnt even finish when his phone got taken by techno "hey!"
"it looks really broken , why is that?" techno asks and gives the phone back to tommy while wilbur started packing tommys things
"no reason..-hey! careful with that!" Tommy yelled and picked up a photo that wilbur had layed on the bed
"sorry.. didnt mean to yell" tommy apologized and they both chuckled
"its alright , dont worry about it. " Techno said before he saw Wilbur looking at him "is that really everything you have here?!" techno asksed shocked when he saw wilbur was done with packing , there were only three t-shirts, one pair of pants and one hoodie and of course some underwear.
"y-yea?" tommy answers nervous , that was normal clothes right? so whats so bad about it to make them look so shocked and.. concerend?
"we're so going shopping tomorrow" wilbur said when tommy picked up his bag. They walked down and on the way tommy almost fell but wilbur catched him while Techno contiuned to walk to phil and the dumb lady.
"you okay tess?" wilbur asked helping him down the stairs to not fall again , tommy just nodded but wilbur saw how Teressa had to fight herself not to fall asleep , Wilbur sighed and they walked to the others.
"Everything done?" Philza asked getting a nod from everyone in return.
"well then lets go , tess is tired. she almost fell down the stairs" wilbur wispered the end to phil and he nodded. They said their byes and then left. At the car philza sat in the drivers seat and techno next to him while wilbur and tommy were in the back. It didnt even take ten minutes till Tommy was asleep ,leaning his head against the window.
"Are you hungry teressa?" Philza asked while driving , they had 3hours to go so it would be better to get food now
"dad, she's already sleeping but i'd say we should get some food and let her eat when she wakes up" Wilbur answered and Techno agreed. They decided to get some mcdonalds and eat in their car before contiuning to drive , so half an hour later when they had their food they were talking in the car while eating and waiting for tommy to wake up.
Tommy woke up five minutes later and yawned after a few more minutes , he rubbed his eyes and started to look around
"did you sleep well tess?" Phil asked when he saw that he was awake , Tommy just nodded knowing that he would yell at them because of the name and pronouns.
"Here have some food" Techno smiled slighly and placed a box of nuggest and fries next to tommy
"i-im not hungry.. but thank you.." Tommy said and looked on the floor
"The lady told us you didnt eat since yesterday morning tess. Please eat something , atleast try it?" Wilbur asked tommy , they were all probably already guessing that he had a eating dissorder or something , and put a hand on his shoulder but took it away as fast as he could when tommy flinched.
"fine.. but not everything!" Tommy said and looked at them with tired eyes and if a small tear was seen in the corner of his eyes no one said anything about it , he was probably scared that they would force him to eat everything like most people would.
"Only how much you can" Phil smiles and started to drive again because he was already done with eating , Tommy took a chicken nugget in the hand and just looked at it with a frown on his face ,Im already so fat..' he thought to himself and then took a small bite , he looked at Wilbur getting a small and soft smile from the older. He ended up eating some fries and two nuggets , he also drank some coke, after he was done eating he looked at Wilbur
"can i stop now?.." Tommy asked nervous and wilbur smiled at him
"you did great , of course you can" Wilbur said and Tommy smiled slighly and leaned on Wilbur
"still Tired?" wilbur asks and Tommy nodded closing his eyes once again as he heard Wilbur chuckle who decided to let him sleep more .
