"Kid, how much do you want for that knife that you were hiding before, the one that machi took from you?" asked Tenshi with a smug face,
"Oh, I forgot!" Gon exclaimed, as Tenshi quickly took the knife out of his pocket,
"Ben's knife, these are rare, and amazing, Danchou has one too..." Tenshi murmured to himself,
"Give that back." Gon said with a petty expression on his childish face,
"No way, I ain't gonna arm the enemy, I can pay you for it tho because I can be fair." Tenshi said with a provocative smirk,
"I won't sell it." Gon said angrily showing off his ten,
"Then I guess I'll just fucking take it." Tenshi said with a melodramatic tone as he looked at the ceiling,
"Gon j-just..." Killua tried to speak, then Gon sat down again,
"But I really wanted to keep it." Gon said defeated,
"I said that I can pay you, maybe 8 millions? Fuck it I'll give you 15 Millions for this." Tenshi said with a feint smirk,
"Do you really expect us to believe that you'll actually pay for it?" Killua replied confused,
"Give me a bank account to deposit the money and I will do it tomorrow, I can do it now if either of you has it connected to their phone." He said as he tilted his head to the side like how a dog would, as Killua took out his phone and gave the coordinates of his bank account to the man, and as Tenshi crouched Gon noticed something hanging from his neck,
"Tenshi san, what's that necklace?" Asked Gon with a curious expression,
"This? It's a sign of recognition, it means that I'm one of the celestial emissaries of my home town, basically a recognized astronomer, only very few people are given this." He replied, as he showed him both sides of the necklace, the front has a pyramid with the Horus eye in the middle and a starry sky, and also a open hand with a compass, the other face had a skull with a rose in mouth and a purple galaxy background,
Gon looked a bit confused so Tenshi had to explain it in a more simplistic way, "I study the stars and the planets, a scientist that looks at the sky" he explained deadpanned,
"The details are amazing for such a small surface." Killua pointed out as he notice the fact that the rose was reflecting,
"Every single one is different but the front face is the same for all of them, there are less than 20 celestial emissaries right now I'd say." Tenshi explained,
It's amazing Gon thought, while Killua seemed surprised at the fact that even people in the troupe had their own quirks and were normal people for the most part, certainly special but also dedicated to other things not just killing and stealing.
"Why are we here?" Killua asked with a serious tone,
"Because I'm responsible for you two are responsible for the boss life, if you want to stay downstairs with all the other members I need to chain you two up first, because I don't want to give anybody any excuses to kill you." He explained,
"Are the hostages ready?" Pakunoda asked,
"Yeah they are, I haven't touched them." Tenshi replied before walking out of the door and letting Pakunoda in, Tenshi then walked out of the room and disappeared as Paku grabbed the kids.
"You left the kids with Paku?" Nobunaga asked,
"Yeah I did." Tenshi replied,
"Why did you that, you even said that it wasn't the optimal move." Phinks asked a bit angry, he wasn't trying to threaten him, he wasn't fishing for a conflict, he just wanted an explanation,
"We need to leave this city phinks, haven't you read the fortunes? Every fortune but hisoka's said that if we fight half of us will die, if we leave and avoid the chain user we save the boss, we save paku shizuku and shalnark, and also change out fortunes." Tenshi said,
"You see my fortune, talks about a fight between me and the chain user, and doesn't talk about my death, but it does talk about Hisoka betraying us, and it talks about the next month which is October or the tenth month being torn away, and hisoka is number ten, so my idea was simply killing Hisoka, but the boss doesn't want that and as long as he's alive we won't kill Hisoka." Tenshi explained calmly while sitting down, as Franklin, Nobu and Phinks quietly listened, as Tey looked at hisoka and thought about how oddly silent he was,
"You guys often don't understand that the spider is the priority not us as people, we could all die and get replaced eventually." Franklin said as Machi slowly nodded,
"That's the whole purpose." Phinks commented,
"Yeah, the spider never dies." Shalnark said while looking outside immersed in his own thoughts,
"Shizuku, Kortopi wouldn't you two be happy to know that the spider will live forever as an organization?" Tey asked them,
"Spider forever, maybe we will be in history books as the first members." Said Kortopi,
"don't care, thought never anything bout it." Fei whispered annoyed, Tey was trying to simply talk about a distracting subject because all the members were really tense and stressed, Tenshi then went in another room followed by Nobunaga and Franklin, the room was smaller but also had an open ceiling from where you could watch the moon, and feel a fresh breeze on your skin.
"So what do you think, could those two be a great replacement for Uvo?" Nobunaga asked to Franklin,
"Nobunaga stop it with this nonsense we're not babysitters, and those two don't want to join, and also we can't substitute one member with two people we can't be in 12." Franklin explained,
"Oh I didn't think about that actually." Nobunaga replied before grabbing a beer,
"That's not an issue, we have two missing members if you count Hisoka." Tenshi replied,
"You think that he's going to leave the troupe?" Nobunaga asked,
"No brainer." Tenshi said while looking at the sky,
"Don't act like that around me you're still the kid here." Nobu said smugly,
"You've come a long way." Franklin said as he slapped Tenshi in the back,
"You two should stop randomly breaking character, please act menacing as always." Tey said before jumping on some debris and sit there,
"Uvo was the best at breaking character." Franklin calmly explained,
"He was an oddball but we got along well." Tenshi replied,
"He got along well with basically everyone, everyone liked him." Nobunaga said with a sad stare,
"I remember sparring with him, I always outstriked him, he was such a brawler with no technique." Tenshi said to tease Nobu,
"Nah I don't believe you, he would've smacked you in hand to hand combat." Nobunaga said,
"Well Nobunaga, Uvo never had any kind of martial art training which is important for hand to hand, and also take in account that in sparring you go light and that takes away Uvo biggest strength." Franklin said,
"Franklin don't make me mad, stop backing up his bullshit claims, if he beated Uvo hand to hand that would mean that he could beat me and that's impossible." Said Nobu while holding his sword as Tenshi went out to let the scrap and have fun.
Feitan and Machi were chatting with Shizuku, Kortopi and Phinks were quietly hanging out in a corner, Hisoka was completely still, barely turning his head, not even playing cards as usual, which was kind of weird, an uncommon behavior to say the least.
The time simply flew, after what seemed like few minutes pakunoda was already back, but without the boss,
"What the fuck happened?" Asked Nobunaga as Phinks got mad, blood pumping through his eyes, veins popping,
"I knew it." Phinks murmured,
"Where is the boss." Asked Franklin shocked, and a fight was erupting as Pakunoda took out her gun, slowly raising it next to her cheek, Tenshi remembered where she got that revolver from, a Russian Nagant, stolen from an elderly aristocrat,
"Nobunaga, Feitan, Machi, Tenshi, Phinks, Shalnark Franklin, do you trust me?" She asked quietly, as Nobunaga gently stopped Phinks, Nobu sat down, Machi walked closer to Pakunoda, and Tey rolled his eyes to the ceiling looking at the moonlight passing through the cracks,
"Have some faith, it's Paku." Nobunaga murmured to Phinks,
"So Paku, is this the end of your journey?" Asked Tey and she didn't reply, just smiled and fired her shots.
