It was already morning when I woke up to an unfamiliar place. My body lacked strength, yet I didn't feel any pain. Suddenly, some faces came into my view. It was strange and oddly bright.

When I fully opened my eyes, the people looking at me made a noticeable fuss. While I was puzzled about what's going on.

I couldn't bring myself to open my mouth, so I blinked instead. I wanted to talk, but my voice couldn't come through clearly.

My voice seems hoarse. I took my time to become aware of my situation. My head became dizzy as I organized my thoughts.

After a few days, the condition of my neck had significantly improved. I was finally able to open my mouth but I decided to not let a single sound out.

Maids come in everyday to attend to what I need, prepare my meals from breakfast to dinner, prepare and help me bathe, prepare my clothes, basically everything.

Although the maids encourage me to go out and stroll in the garden. I choose to sit near the big window where I can view the well-maintained garden. Different kinds and colors of flowers and plants were neatly arranged and planted in their own respected spaces.

Wandering my eyes around the big luxurious room the feeling of being relentless is always around, it never disappeared every time I woke up.

I feel so empty and unconsciously my hand went on my wrist, caressing it as my eyes followed my action. But only an empty canvas of pale skin like snow was all I could see. As my eyes linger there, a feeling like something was missing the more I stare longer.

Ignoring it as I avert my eyes away, looking back at the garden. Birds and butterflies were flying flower to flower. Leaning my head to the chair as I slowly close my eyes.

Fuzzy scenarios began flashing on my mind, snapping my eyes open as a sound reached my ear. A maid came in and bowed.

"Excuse me, Miss. Sorry to disturb you, Sir Frederick has returned from his deployment."

Looking at her as she approached me, other maids entered and prepared my clothes as she helped me stand up, took my clothes off, carefully and gently helped me wear the dress the maids selected.

Sitting in front of the mirror as the maid softly brushes my long jet black hair. My electric blue eyes staring at my reflection with such indifferent expression.

"She's so beautiful."

"She ages like a fine wine."

"She is not very fond of talking but I believe she's the most beautiful woman I've seen."

"I'm sure Sir Frederick misses her so much."

"I heard they're inseparable."

"Both of them are so lucky to have each other."

"I heard Sir Frederick wants to come back after he heard what happened to Miss."

Listening to them talk while I keep my mouth shut and an emotionless face, their eyes sparkled every time they mentioned his name. Gashing how handsome, regal, brave, gallant, and kind he was.

After the preparation, the maids left as a butler entered my room.

"Good afternoon Miss, Sir Frederick is here to see you."

The door slowly opened and a man walked inside. Indeed he was regal enough to mistake him with such authority. His tan skin clad in expensive clothes and his black hair neatly styled.

Defined cheekbones, chiseled jawline, hawkish nose, thin eyebrows, and sea rover-blue almond shaped eyes. Every woman would die just to see the man standing in front of me.

He emits a dashing personality and a friendly smile. Sitting on the vacant chair just opposite to mine, a maid served some tea and immediately left.

Deciding to end the silence, when I spoke out for the first time since I opened my eyes, Frederick's eyes were filled with excitement. But soon, it dimmed after hearing what I said.

"Can you tell me where are...? Who are you, exactly? And what my name is...?"

His smile falters as he looks at me with such great sadness.

"Y-You don't remember me?"

Shaking my head, my eyes snuck a glance on how he tightly grips the handle.

"Even your name?"

Shaking my head once more, his jaw clenched and the handle broke.

"I'm Frederick Christian Windsor. And your name is Davia Eibhlin Amery Bazin."

The sound of chains rattling at the dark dungeon-like basement of the mansion, groans and moans not from pleasure but from pain, the crack of the whip echoed inside the windowless room.

"Please, spare my life." He hoarsely muttered, troubled and pleading.

Looking down at him as my eyes stare at him with unconcerned expression, blood pool underneath the spiked chair, his face almost unrecognized with black and blue bruises. Exhaling a sigh as the smell of blood reaches my nose.

"Say it again." I ordered. Glowering at him.

Grabbing a hook and slowly dragging it from his shoulders to his chin, lifting his face up as our eyes met. Fear consuming his eyes.

"P...P-Please...lease... Please, have mercy on me. Spare my life." He continues to plead.

"I really like hearing someone beg for their life." I said, a sinister smirk slowly appearing on my lips.

As his body trembles, clicking my tongue in disapproval. Blood comes out from his mouth as I slowly pierces the hook on his skin.

"Mercy? Spare your life?" I asked, gritting my teeth as anger rises inside me.

"Now you know how it feels to beg for mercy." I added, swiftly stabbing the hook to his mouth.

His eyes widened as I stared at how life slowly loses in his eyes. Quickly letting the hook go, glancing at my blood drenched gloves. Pulling the grip as the bell rings, my eyebrows furrowed when not a single maid came down.

Rolling my eyes as a curse escapes my mouth. My eyes snapped to the stairs hearing footsteps.

"Enjoying killing him?" Frederick asked, nonchalantly. Taking his time staring at what I did.

"I only enjoyed killing someone who wronged someone." I quickly replied, taking the towel from him and throwing it on the table.

"And you've done a perfect job doing what I taught you. Tortures and Interrogations. So perfect." He proudly said, slowly approaching me, pulling me closer to him as his hands enclosed my face.

Clicking my tongue as I yank his arms, Frederick laughs, grabbing my arm and placing a kiss on my temple.

"I have something to tell you." He said, raising my eyebrow as our eyes met.

Arriving at his office, sitting down, my eyes caught a beautiful white rose placed inside the vase on the center of the table. As my hands touched the rose it quickly withered.

Clicking my tongue as I forget to put some gloves on. It was unexplainable how I acquired such ability to kill a living being with a single touch.

Frederick placed a paper on the table as he grabbed the flower and grasped my hand. Letting him do what he wants as strangely enough he doesn't seem to be affected with my death touch.

The black gloves on my hands as I took the paper and let my eyes scan.

"Winter Soldier." I muttered, reading the profile, "James Buchanan Barnes." I mumbled as I stared at the picture, feeling a sense of familiarity the longer I gaze.

"He was credited with over two dozen assassinations in the span of 50 years." Frederick said, sipping his tea.

"And?" I asked as I put the paper down and looked at him, "We have to kill him." He answered, furrowing my eyebrows, "Why?" I asked, slightly tilting my head.

"He was HYDRA's pet." Frederick answered, my breath hitched as our eyes met, "The one who killed my parents." I mumbled, "Yes. And S.H.I.E.L.D. took down HYDRA and now they have custody of him." He added.

"And where is he right now?" I asked, "The Avengers now have him under them." He answered, "Avengers..." I mumbled, biting my lips as my head started to hurt.

A knock interrupted our discussion as Lynn, the butler, came in holding a try with his hands.

"It's time for your medicine, Miss." He stated, nodding my head as I quickly swallowed the pill and drank the water. Shaking my head and exhaling a sigh as my headache disappeared.

"I'm sorry, where we're we?" I asked, Lynn left and Frederick stood up, sitting beside me. Caressing my face, lightly as our eyes met.

"It's time for our revenge." He simply stated, nodding my head as he smiled at me. Placing a quick kiss on my forehead as he hugged me. Failing to see the sinister smile forming on his lips.
