It was now 10:00 am in the morning and I was just getting up.
Since today was Saturday I had couple things to do on my agenda this morning.
As I got up I went into my bathroom and started my shower.
Waiting for it to get hot I stood in front of the mirror and stared at myself.
"You are beautiful, You are strong, the weight doesn't matter" I said to myself and repeated three more times before sighing
I grabbed my toothbrush and wet it under the water before adding toothpaste and wetting it again.
After I was done brushing my teeth I got into the shower and started to wash off.

After getting out the shower and getting dressed in some sweats and oversized shirt. I walked out of my room and headed to the kitchen.
Sitting at the counter I grabbed my note book and pen and began writing out what I had to do today.
Agenda 🌸
• Go to the bank
• Do a little Grocery Shopping
• Pick up stuff for sleep over tonight
• Pick up Jayda
• Get hair done
• Get nails & lashes done
I closed my book and picked up my phone to call Jayda.
"Heyyyy"
"Heyyy girll" I smiled
"Wassup"
"Nothing I'm just finna do a little stuff before I come get you...is that cool ?"
"Yea that's fine just let me know when your on the way"
"Okay see you later bestie" I smiled
"See ya"
I hung up and grabbed my keys & note book before grabbing my purse and headed for the door.
I walked to my car and headed towards the first place that was on my list which was the bank.
When I got to the bank I pulled up the ATM to cash my check.
Once I was done I checked that off my list and made my way towards target.
"MAKING MY WAY DOWNTOWN, WAKING FAST, FACES PASS AND IM HOMEBOUND" I yelled
As I pulled up into the target I found a parking space close to the entrance and got out the car.
Making sure I had everything I locked the car door and headed into the store.
"Okay first thing first...groceries" I said to myself and grabbed a cart
"Ouuu I love me some targaé" I said in a funny accent
I picked up some chips and other snacks knowing Jayda love to eat when she came over to my house.
Then I picked up some drinks and water bottles since I was running low on them.
Grabbing the case of water I quickly carried it towards the cart.
"Whew, I'm out of breathe" I said to myself with my hands on my knees breathing hard as I walked over to grab another case
I heard someone laughed behind me "you need help love ?"
I looked back before chuckling "is it that obvious ?"
"Just a lil bit" he laughed grabbing another case of water and putting it in the cart
"Thank you"
"No problem beautiful" he smiled causing me to blush
I smiled walking back towards my cart and pushing it in the other direction.
I look back at him and smiled again before turning around and continued shopping.

"Okay...now it's time to get Jayda" I said getting into the car and checking off the stuff I already did
I quickly texted Jayda that I'm on my way then started my car before pulling off.
"I built you up, and I held you down" I sang as Summer Walker played through the car
"You can't tell me nothing bout my man" I sang
20 minutes later I was finally pulling up into Jayda's apartment complex.
"Hello" she answered
"I'm outside hoe" I said as soon as she answered
"Okayyy"I dragged before handing up
Seeing it was 1:00 pm we were right on time to make it to our hair appointment.
"Bestieeeeee" I heard causing me to look up
I laughed seeing Jayda dancing with her
spendanight bag on her shoulder.
"Girl come on we got an appointment to catch" I yelled out the window
She laughed before walking towards the passenger side and getting in.
"Alright let's go" I said as she put her seatbelt on
"What you getting ?" She asked me
"I don't know yet...might get some braids"
She nodded "I think imma just get a lace"
"Girl you can literally do those on yourself" I chuckled
"I know but I'm being lazy plus we planned to get our hair done together so that's what imma do" she shrugged
"Alright cool"

"Ouu bestie periodddd you look goodt" Jayda said loudly as she took my pictures
I laughed "girl you are to much"
"Gotta hype my bestie up"
I took her phone "okay best your turn"
"Yesss mam, two pretty best friends right here" I said
"Period" She said swiping her hand under her neck
"Alright next up is nails and lash" I said as we walked to the car
"Okay cool...can we stop at Chick-fil-A first though ? Ya girl is starving" she asked
"Yea we can" I said starting the car and pulling off
"Ughh imma need me a Tesla...they just so classy" she said sighing
I laughed "you know imma classy gworl"
"As you should be"
"Hi welcome to Chick-fil-A. What can I get you ?"
"What you want best ?" I asked looking at her
"Let me get a spicy chicken sandwich with a medium fry and a fruit punch" she said loud enough for the lady to hear
"Okay will that be all ?"
"Yes" I said
"Your not eating ?" Jayda asked causing me to shake my head no
"Okay your total is $20.47" she said
I pulled up to the first window and Jayda handed me her card.
Once I paid I handed her card back and drove to the second window to get the food.
"Thank you" I handed Jayda her food and pulled off.
"Alright nail salon and lashes" I said looking over at her seeing she wasn't eating
"You know you can eat in my car right? as long as you don't drop nothing" I laughed
"I'm not gonna eat when your not eating" she said getting on her phone
I smacked my lips "bestie it's okay...I'm not hungry"
"When's the last time you ate Lani ?" She asked looking at me
Cause me to sigh lowly " I ate earlier" I lied
"Mmm you know as long as we've been best friends you would think you'd learn how to lie better" she said rolling her eyes
I scoffed "I'm not lying just eat your food I'm okay"
"Mmmhm" she hummed before getting back on her phone
Pulling up to the nail salon where we usually get our nails done.
I quickly parked the car and grabbed my stuff before getting out with Jayda behind me and locking it.
"Damn I thought I was gone have to die and come back to life before y'all would've made it." Cece our nail tech said as we walked in
I laughed "girl we not even that late"
"Mmmhm whatever whose going first ?" She asked
"Me cause Jayda bout to eat" I said looking at Jayda
She smacked her lips "Where bri cause I want my feet done"
"She back there talking to her man...she just finished up on someone." Cece answered
I sat down in her chair and put my purse in the chair beside me.
"You want your exotic nails or some plain ones today?"
"You know I want my exotic ones" I smiled as she started on my nails
"Damn that Nigga Dre just know how to piss me off" bri said walking back
Cece chuckled "NO you just know how to get him to that point" she said causing me to laugh
"Okay boo I'm gone" we heard a voice causing everyone to look up
"Bye boo" Bri said
"Heyyy...Lani right?" She said getting my attention
I smiled while nodding "Hii Kianna"
"How you doing ?" She asked sitting down in the chair next to me
"I'm good you ?"
"I'm great...so I'm having a little get together later it's gone be real small you should come" she smiled
"Uhhh I don't know" I said
"Yes yes yes she'll be there" Jayda yelled while eating her fries
Kianna looked back and laughed " that's my best friend Jayda" I said shaking my head
"Great she can come too" she said
"But we have plans tonight" I said looking at Jayda
"What time is it ?" Jayda asked
" 8" Kianna answered
"Okay cool we'll be there" Jayda said causing Kianna to smile
"I'll see y'all dolls later and I'll send you the info on IG" she said getting up
I nodded "okay" I said as she walked out the nail salon
"Really Jayda ?" I said looking at her
"I literally said yesterday that we needed to start going out plus I think it'll be fun" she shrugged
I rolled my eyes "whatever"
"She's right Lani as long as I knew you, you barely go out and enjoy yourself" Cece said
"I can enjoy myself at home in my wonderful comfortable bed" I said causing them to suck their teeth
"You can do that any day let's just go and if you don't like it we can come back home" Jayda said
I nodded "alright"

"Okay she said it's gonna be small so I'm just throwing on some sweats and a matching sweat shirt" I said to Jayda as we got ready to go over to Kianna's house
She laughed "alright"
Once we were done getting ready we made our way towards her house which was a good 35 mins away from mines.
When we got there we got out the car and walked towards the door before knocking.
"Heyyy Footlocker girl" King said opening the door
"Hii" I waved
"Heyyyy come in" Kianna said coming from behind him
"I'm glad y'all came" she said
"Thanks for having us" I smiled
"Hey guys this is Lani & her best friend Jayda" she introduced
"Hello" Jayda and I said while waving
"This is Trey, Leon, my brother Eli, you met king at the door and my those my girls over there Carmen & China" she introduced
Trey....

"Do you guys smoke ?" China asked as we walked into the kitchen
"Weed ?" Jayda said causing them to laugh
"No hookah" she replied
"Oh I never tried it" Jayda said causing me to agree
"Welp there's a first time for everything" Kianna said walking back into the kitchen with casamigos in her hand
As they set the hookah up and poured out shots I got on my phone and listened to the music.
"Okay everyone take a shot" Carmen said causing all the girls to grab a shot except me
"Your not gonna take one ?" Ki asked
"No I'm driving tonight I'll just stick to water" I smiled
China passed me the hookah "you and me both boo" she said
I took the hookah and put the mouth piece on before inhaling it.
"Ouuuu it's giving baddie" king said to me as he walking into the kitchen causing me to laugh
"It definitely is" ki said
I walked into the living room and sat down by the hookah that was set up in there already.
"Wassam target" I heard causing me to look up from my phone and see the guys from target
I smiled "Hii"
He sat down next to me "I'm Eli" he said with his hand out
I gently took it "I'm lani"
"It's nice to meet you beautiful" he smiled causing my cheeks to heat up
"It's nice to meet you too"
