Salutations to Hades Polyxenos,
The ruler of humanity,
Salutations to the Polydegmenos,
He who welcomes all with arms open in glee.
The great lord of the mysterious underworld,
You are a quandary great,
You are the magnificent, the elusive one,
Whose truth cannot be comprehended.
Yiu are called the Zefs Khthonios,
The Zeus of the Underworld,
Thou are its supreme ruler,
The one without a match.
Lord of death, lord of darkness,
You teach us the worth of life,
You prove that it is precious,
Once gone we might never have it again.
You are the beloved husband of Persephone,
The lady of spring and new beginnings,
She who is the light of the underworld,
The freshness of the three worlds.
You are the Nekrôn Sôtêr,
The saviour of all those dead,
You protect every soul in their lifetimes,
And guide them in their deaths.
You are the great omnipotent one,
Your names and forms are varied,
And you are the formless supreme,
Worshipped all across the world.
You are called the Ploutos,
The lord of earth's wealth,
You bless us with both the gold and golden grain,
Filling our lives with bounty amd nourishment.
You are the Tellumo,
The one who provides for the productive,
You are also the Altor,
He who nourishes us all.
You are the Eubuleus,
The destroyer of all sorrows and pain,
You prove that is a temporary illusion,
One which disperses at the end.
You are the Orkos,
Lord of oaths and truth,
You are the avenger of the perjured,
The protecter of the feeble.
You are Aidis;
The great unforseen one,
You are of many titles, epithets and forms,
Yet you are said to be without a form.
You are the one whom to I plead,
To rid this world of vices and sins,
May you lead me to your realm when my time in this world comes to an end,
Just us you had delivered me at birth.
You are the great supreme being,
From whom life progressed,
Unto you shall we oneday immerse,
For you are the eternal source.
Thus here ends the hymn to the great father,
Who is the universal lord, the king of all kings,
May he destroy all our fears,
That is my earnest wish to him.

Note; Hades, Greek Aïdes (“the Unseen”), also called Pluto or Pluton (“the Wealthy One” or “the Giver of Wealth”), in ancient Greek religion, god of the underworld. Hades was a son of the Titans Cronus and Rhea, and brother of the deities Zeus, Poseidon, Demeter, Hera, and Hestia.
