IT WAS NOW THE NEXT DAY. Last night, they told Eddie everything. They told him all about what actually happened at the Mall and even way back to when Robin, Max and Fiona weren't even around. After they told him everything, they came to the conclusion that all along it has been some dark wizard cursing Hawkins.
Vecna.
The group were currently outside of the place where Eddie was hiding. They had gotten him some food and some drinks so he could survive and wouldn't starve to death or dehydrate.
Walking in, Eddie immediately jumped out from under the tarp which was still in the boat holding the same broken glass from last night.
"Delivery service." Dustin told him, holding up the bags. Fiona waved at the boy with a big grin on her face earning a small wave back.
Dustin handed over the bags, Eddie immediately looked through them and pulled out a box of cereal.
"Somebody's hungry." Fiona muttered as she watched the boy grab a handful of the cereal before stuffing his face.
"So we go, uh, some good news and some bad news. How do you prefer it?" Dustin asked the older boy as he swallowed the mouthful.
"Bad news first, always." Eddie told him with a nod making Dustin sigh. "Okay. Bad news. We tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our Cerebro, and they're definitely looking for you."
"It's true, I was there." Fiona confirmed making Steve look at her oddly. "Yeah, he knows you were there."
"Just confirming." Fiona shrugged her shoulders and a small roll of her eyes.
"Also, they're pretty convinced you killed Chrissy." Dustin then told the boy, scratching his head.
"Like one hundred percent kind of convinced." Max told him with a nod of her head. "Yeah, like super duper convinced." Fiona continued.
"And the good news?" Eddie asked with a sigh. "Your name hasn't gone public yet." Robin told him making Fiona put her thumbs up.
"But if we found out about you, it's a matter of time before the others do." The blonde woman told him honestly. "And once that gets out, everyone and their shallow-minded mother are gonna be gunning after you."
"Hunt the freak, right?" Eddie asked bitterly making Robin nod her head, "Exactly."
"So before that happens, we find Vecna, kill him, and prove your innocence." Dustin told the boy like it wasn't going to be a difficult task.
"That's all, Dustin? That's all?" Eddie asked him, looking at the curly-haired boy like he was crazy.
"Yeah, no, that's pretty much it." Dustin shrugged.
"Yeah, how do you expect to kill an evil dark very powerful wizard exactly?" Fiona asked Dustin, looking at him dumbfounded. "Because, you know, I played a massive part in killing the mind flayer last year and I'm not quite in the mood to kill another evil thing." She shrugged.
"Listen, Eddie, I know everything Dustin is saying sounds totally delusional, but we've actually been through this before." Robin told him, trying to make the long-haired boy feel better. "I mean, they have a...a few times and I have once. Mine was more human-flesh-based, theirs was more smoke-related, but bottom line is, collectively, I really feel we got this."
"And on top of that, we have a very powerful girl standing right next to us." Robin pointed towards Fiona making her nod her head.
"We usually rely on another girl who has superpowers. But, uh, those went bye-bye so..." Steve trailed off.
"But we've still got me, right?" Fiona told them with an awkward smile.
"So, technically, we're in more in the... brainstorming phase." Robin told him.
"I have this feeling that we're making him feel worse." Fiona told her group with an awkward cough.
"There...there's nothing to worry about." Dustin told the boy in front of them who looked even more panicked now than he did before.
"That's kind of a lie, actually, there are a lot of things to worry about..." Fiona muttered making Dustin look at her. "Not helping!"
The whole group all gave Eddie awkward smiles making the boy look at them like they were crazy.
The sound of police sirens was then heard making the group go into full panic mode. "Tarp!" Both Fiona and Steve instructed Eddie who immediately got under it.
The group moved themselves over to the window where the sirens were heard, looking out the window they saw multiple police cars pass by and an ambulance.
"Car, now." Steve instructed the group and almost immediately they headed towards the door. "We'll be back Eddie! Don't go anywhere!" Fiona yelled at the boat before closing the door after her.
The car drive was fast. They pulled up at the scene where multiple cop cars were and ambulances. It was another death.
Coming to a stop, they got out the car only to see Nancy being questioned by the police.

The group which now contained Nancy, were sitting in the trailer park close to Eddies. They had told Nancy everything they knew so far leaving the girl almost speechless.
"You're saying that this thing that killed Fred and Chrissy, it's from the upside-down?" Nancy questioned as she looked at everyone. "If the shoe fits." Steve told her.
"Our working theory is that he attacks with a spell or a curse. Now, whether or not he's doing the bidding of the Mind Flayer or just loves killings teens, we don't know." Dustin told the girl honestly.
"All we know is this is something different. Something new." Max told her making Nancy shake her head. "Doesn't make sense."
"It's only a theory." Fiona told the girl, giving her a small smile also.
"No, Fred and Chrissy don't make sense." Nancy told the dark-haired girl. "I mean, why them?"
"Maybe they were just in the wrong place." Dustin shrugged. "They were both at the game."
"And near the trailer park." Max told them, noticing how they were both at or near the trailer park when it happened.
"We're at the trailer park." Steve said as he looked around worryingly. "Uh, should we maybe not be here?"
"There is something about this place. Fred started acting weird the second we got here." Nancy informed them making Fi furrow her brows.
"Acting weird, how?" She asked the Wheeler girl.
"Scared. On edge. Upset." Nancy told her.
"Max said Chrissy was upset too." Dustin pointed out. "Yeah, but not here." Max corrected him. "She was crying in the bathroom at school."
"Serial killers stalk their prey before they strike, right?" Robin asked no one in particular, "So maybe Fred and Chrissy saw this Vecman-"
"Vecna." Dustin corrected the older woman, rolling his eyes.
"Dunno about you, but if I saw some freaky wizard monster I would mention it to someone." Steve told the group.
"Well, if they did see Vecna why would they tell someone? 'Oh hey, by the way, I've been seeing this weird wizard thing which is from a game.' People would think they're insane." Fiona mimicked what somebody might have said making Steve roll his eyes.
"Maybe they did." Max told Steve making him look at Fi with a smug look. "Told you."
"I saw Chrissy leaving Ms Kelley's office. If you saw a monster, you wouldn't go to the police. They'd never believe you." Max told the group. "But you might go to your-"
"Your shrink." Robin finished off making the group look at each other before standing up and rushing over to Steve's car.
"Whoa, whoa, Nance. Nance!" Steve yelled after the girl, seeing how she was heading in the direction of her car, not Steves. "Where are you going?"
"Oh, there's just something I wanna check on first." Nancy told the boy, still walking towards her car slowly.
"Something you wanna share with the rest of us?" Dustin asked the girl.
"I don't want to waste your time. It's a real shot in the dark." Nancy told the group honestly.
"Yeah, okay. Are you out of your mind? Flying solo with this Vecna creep on the loose?" Steve asked the girl. "No, it's too dangerous. You need someone... someone too..." Nancy raised her brows at the stuttering boy in front of her.
Steve turned back, throwing his keys at Robin, "Here. I'll stick with Nance. You guys take the car, check out the shrink."
"I don't think you want me driving your car." Robin told the boy honestly, looking a bit panicked that she had to drive. "Why?" Steve asked the blonde.
"I don't have a license."
"Why don't you have a license?"
"I'm poor."
"I can drive!" Max piped up only to immediately get shut down by Steve. "No, no. Never again. Please. Anybody but you. No."
"Does that give you some traumatic memories, Steve?" Fiona teasingly asked, remembering the time when Max drove the car.
"What about me?" Fiona then asked, raising her hand in the air. "You've never even put your hands on the wheel. Absolutely not." Steve told her.
Dustin looked at him making Steve, once again, shut someone down. "Not a chance."
"All right, okay. This is stupid." Robin told nobody in particular as she walked over to Dustin, grabbing the walkie talkie out of the bag before walking over to Nancy and Steve.
"Us ladies will stick together." Robin told Steve as she handed him back the keys.
"Unless you think we need you to protect us?" Robin asked the boy making Fiona smirk.
Steve didn't say anything so Nancy and Robin both walked over to the car making Steve yell after them. "Be careful!"
"Just gonna stand there and gawk?" Dustin asked with a small smirk on his face. "Shut up." Steve told the younger boy making Fiona chuckle.
"Shut up and get in the car." Steve instructed them as he walked back over to the car.
"Wipe your feet!" Steve told Dustin who was about to get in the car. Dustin began wiping his shoes on the matts which were inside the car making Fi too laugh.
"On the outside, not the inside!"
"Always the babysitter. Always the goddamn babysitter!" Steve slightly yelled as he started the car. "You know you love us." Fiona told him, leaning forwards.
"Put your seatbelt on." Steve told the younger girl before driving away.

don't really like this chapter that much tbh.
but i've been thinking about writing another book where it's basically just Fiona and her journey through season 2 and 3 so let me know if you guys would like to read that or if it's just a stupid idea!:)
