Our classes this morning finally ended. Kaya naka hinga ako ng maluwag. I don't know, but I feel suffocated during our classes. Maybe because, I somewhat don't feel the new added presence.
"Let's go Shein." Joellen whispered while holding her bag infront of me.
"Let's go to their cafeteria." Dinig kong sabi ni Allyza sa mga kausap niya.
"Why not?" Dinig kong sabi naman nong Elljah.
Hindi ko na pinansin ang kwentohan nila at naglakad nalang palabas ng classroom kasama si Joellen.
"Gosh, feel ko naging mas awkward ang atmosphere sa loob ng classroom natin dahil sa dalawang new classmates namin." Joellen suddenly said.
Naglalakad kami ngayon sa hallway with many eyes always watching our every step. Hindi ba sila nagsasawa kakatingin at pagchismisan kami?
"I didn't thought they'll transfer here." Dinig kong bulong ni Joellen.
"You know them?" I just asked, since I can feel that she knows those two.
"Of course! Don't tell me you don't?" She confusedly asked.
Of course I don't, I don't care what others status are. Tiningnan ko lang siya sa mata telling her that I really don't know.
"Hay, saan lupalop ka ba galing... Allyza Gwey Matias is a daughter of a famous designer and the Vice President of the Del Castillo Company. She was studying abroad kaya nagulat din ako na nagtrasfer siya." Sabi niya sakin.
Tumango-tango lang naman ako. She seems to know the well-known people. Well, that's the advantage of being a daughter of a businessman.
And... What about the other girl?
"... I just don't know Ellejah Bea Gregorio, it's the first time I heard her name." She confusedly said habang nakatingin sa dinaraanan.
"... Gregorio... Gregorio... Tho, I feel like I've heard that surname somewhere." Sabi niya at tumingin pa sakin.
"Don't stress yourself." Tanging sabi ko sa kaniya at napakamot nalang siya ng ulo.
Napailing nalang ako at binilisan ang paglalakad papunta sa cafeteria.
Ng makarating kami sa loob ay just like usual she went to where her best friend is and so I am to where Zel and I always sit.
"Let's order. I still have unfinished task to my room." Agad sabi ni Zel. Tumango lang ako, at tumayo naman siya para mag order. As always ako palagi ang naiiwan sa table namin.
Just like yesterday, I'm catching attentions. Hays, wala naman akong magagawa sa kanila kaya wag nalang natin pansinin!
The moment she arrived with our foods ay nagsimula agad kaming kumain.
Just like usual, we just eat and leave our spot after and went outside.
We were just walking at the hallway when a group of girls blocked our way.
"Hi, you must be Zelyanna Faye Lavitas." Nakangiting sabi nito kay Zel then tumingin sa akin.
"Hi, you must be Elshein?" Nakangiti niya pang tanong.
Napatingin naman ako sa tatlong kasama niya.
"Hi." Nakangiting sabi ni Allyza na nasa likuran.
"You know her?" Tanong nong katabi niya.
"She's our classmate." Simple at bored sagot ni Ellejah.
They must be from the cafeteria on the other side. Since I haven't saw them in the cafeteria where I always had lunch.
"What do you want?" Bored na tanong ni Zel. Kaya napabalik ang tingin ko sa kaniya at sa kaharap niya.
"Nothing..." Nakangiting sagot nito kay Zel.
"Just wanna see the person who stamped the pride of my dearest brother." She added.
Nangunot ang noo ko dahil sa sinabi niya. And I feel like I've seen her somewhere before...
"What?" Zel confusedly asked.
"Cianna... What are you doing here?" And then we were interrupted.
Cianna... I think I've heard it before.
"Oh hi Aizer." Nakangiting sabi nong nasa harapan ni Zel.
"Aiz." Ellejah immediately went near Ice.
"I'm asking why are you here? I thought you directly went to your classroom." Sabi ulit ni Ice sa kanila.
"Well, Cianna told us she needs company to find someone here." Si Ellejah agad ang sumagot.
Napatingin naman ako sa kamay niyang naka hawak sa braso ni Ice. Napatingin naman sa amin si Ice kaya napaiwas agad ako ng tingin.
"Does Cian know that you came here?" Tanong niya ulit.
"Ahm, nope." Sagot naman nong tinawag niya na Cianna, ang kausap ni Zel kanina.
Wait.... Her face and her name is really familiar.
Where did I saw — Oh~ right! I've seen her on TV! Isn't she the person Blake keeps on telling us on the first day of class?
"Haist... I'm wasting my precious time here." Dinig kong bulong ni Zel. But I'm sure I'm not the only one who heard.
"Shein? I still have unfinished task at my classroom." Sabi niya sa akin.
Hay mako alam ko na naman kung anong gusto nito.
"Excuse me. Do you still need something from her?" I suddenly asked Cianna.
"Ah.." Hindi niya matapos ang sasabihin at umiling nalang.
"I guess we'll also go back to our building..." Dinig kong sabi niya.
"... Let's go Hillery. Thanks for your company Lyz, Ellj... And it's nice meeting you in person Zelyanna." Sabi niya ulit.
"Let's go Zel." Agad na sabi ko naman at sinabayan ng pag alis doon.
Nakita ko namang naglakad palayo si Cianna kasunod si Hillery. At naiwan don si Allyza at Ellejah na nakakapit parin kay Ice. I saw him glance at me but I immediately avoid his gaze. Tsk.
What's their deal. Hindi ko naintindihan kung bakit niya kinomfort si Zel. But I know for sure, she's Cian's sister.
Ng makarating ako sa classroom ay nandon na si Alexus at si Joellen. But before the prof came in ay dumating naman sila Allyza.
I didn't glance even just a second at them the moment they came in. The hell I care of whatever they do.
Our midtrem's near kaya I don't have time for their businesses. Let's just focus on our studies, since that's the reason why I am here.
Until dismissal came ay deretso agad kami ni Joellen sa labas. Then we parted ways outside our building. Agad naman akong naglakad pa punta sa parking lot. Zel was already there kaya umuwi kami agad.
I was just at my room the whole night and do my projects and outputs. Since sobrang dami dahil midterm na namin next week.
Speaking of, ma'am told us that she didn't upload the video. That's why she was even surprised. And she apologized to us.
I didn't know what reaction did Ice do since I didn't even glance at him.
So this incident's a big question.
Who the heck uploaded that video.
Kinabukasan, nothing new happened. Just like the usual. Tho, may bago nga pala kaming classmates kaya medjo may nag iba.
But then, ang pakikitungo at ang mga ginagawa ko ay ganon parin like yesterday.
"Since our midtrem's near. I won't be giving projects. All I just want you to do is to pass and have a high scores on our midtrem exam. Got it?.. And speaking of our new transferees. You'll be also talking the midterm exam, right? Since in your previous school you only did some tasks and assessments, which we'll only compute with your grades here." Blah blah blah.. I don't care what computations they will do since I think attendance and midterm lang ang meron recond ang dalawang transferee naman.
Well, that's the advantage of having power and money.
Lunch time came and as always kami lang ni Zel ang nag lu-lunch I don't know bakit natitis kaming hindi kasama sa lunch ni Clayd at Blake. Tsk.
Buti nalang wala na namang may nangyari sa hallway. Jusko lang, nakakainis na nga ang mga matang palaging nakatingin sa akin, dadagdagan pa!
Since early matatapos ang class ni Zel while I still have classes 'til evening. Kaya nong nag dismissal, I was with Joellen walking our way to the parking lot. Since early rin ang dismissal ng best friend niya kaya wala siyang kasabay umuwi ngayon.
"I'll drive you to your condo nalang." I told her.
"Thanks Shein, but I'm alright, nag order na ako ng private cab." Naka ngiting sabi niya.
Tumango lang ako at tumingin sa dinaraanan namin.
"Hi Elshein, Hi Joellen." Nakangiting sumabay sa amin si Allyza habang papalapit palang kami sa parking.
"Hi." Bati naman sa kaniya ni Joellen.
"Pasabay ako until parking space ha." Nakangiting sabi naman ni Allyza.
"Sure... Ahm, asan yung mga kasama mo?" Tanong naman ni Joellen.
"Well, They're going to the back departments to pickup the others. I am going somewhere so I'm going straight home." Sagot niya naman sa tanong ni Joellen.
"Ahm, Elshein... I'm sorry for what happened last time... It wasn't what you think that we were there to had a flight with your friend. Cianna was just curious of what type of girl Zelyanna is. Since, you know what happened between her and Cian." Sunod sunod na sabi niya sa akin.
Joellen just glanced confusedly at me.
"Well, I was even shock when I saw the video of Zelyanna at Cian, that was even trending on social media." Natatawang sabi niya ulit.
"And now..." Biglang nanlaki ang mata niya at humarap sa amin.
Nagulat naman si Joellen kaya napatigil siya sa paglalakad maging ako.
"... I saw your film. Oh my god. That was awesome you know that? It's already trending in social media." Nanlaki pa ang mata niya parang hindi makapaniwala.
"The video that we filmed?" Tanong naman ni Joellen.
"Right! The one you filmed with Aizer and Alexus." Pumalakpak pa siya at sabay talikod.
"It was surprisingly awesome..." Sabi niya pa at nag simula ng maglakad.
Nagkatinginan naman kami ni Joellen at sumunod na sa kay Allyza.
"Sa tingin mo, sino kaya nag upload non." Joellen suddenly whispered to me.
"Don't know either." I just shrugged my shoulders.
We will get to know who upload that once the midterm exam's finished since I myself will look for it.
"Bye, see you tomorrow." Malakas na sabi ni Allyza bago niya patakbuhin ang sasakyan paalis.
She seems to be a good a friendly person. I can also tell that she's smart. Maybe that why Aizer and Alexus treat her well.
Well, they seems to treat the girls well. Just what are there relationship. All I know is Cian and Cianna are siblings.
Nang makauwi ako ay deretso agad sa kwarto since gabe na naman. As usual, tinapos ko ang mga assignment and outputs ko na kaylangan e pass tomorrow. I even forgot to eat dinner kasi nakatulog ako habang nag babasa ng libro.
Since hindi naman maaga ang classes ko the other day ay naiwan ako sa bahay.
And when I went to RU, just like the usual, eyes and gossips are everywhere. Well, the hell I care.
I went straight to our classroom and gaya nong mga unang araw ganon parin ang ginagawa ko.
I just nodded to those who greeted me and never speak a single word. Even Allyza and Alexus greeted me, but all I did was just nod.
Hindi ko naman pinan ang ibang hindi pumapansin sakin kahit na aware sila sa presence ko.
And that is just what happened until weekend came.
Finally it's weekend so I don't have to deal with those unwanted attention. And I have a lot of time to spend with my books since next week will be our midtrem exam.
"Where are you going Blake?" Zel asked, looking at Blake who were preparing to leave.
"I have a group meeting with my classmates at the starbucks. Why? Wanna come?" Sagot naman niya agad.
"No thanks. Bye." Agad na sabi naman ni Zel at ibinalik ang tingin sa tv.
I was just with Zel the whole morning at the living room. Since Clayd was out to buy some material and books for himself. While Blake's having a group meeting.
It was already lunch when Clayd went home. So we had our lunch without Blake.
After that ay nag stay na ako sa room para mag basa ng libro. We all have our different tasks kaya may kaniya kaniya kaming buhay ngayon.
And it was already dinner when Blake went home. He already had his dinner outside kaya hindi na siya sumabay sa amin.
Dumeretso agad ako sa kwarto ko after dinner. And hinarap na naman ang notes and books ko.
I am in the middle of talking down notes from my calculus books when my phone rung.
Nang tingnan ko kung sino ang tumatawag ay unregistered number.
Nag dadalawang isip pa ako kung sasagutin ko ba ito or hindi. But at the end sinagot ko rin ito.
"Hello?" Bungad ko agad and touched the loud speaker button at inilagay sa tabi ng notebook ko while I just continue writing.
I didn't hear any reply kaya nag taka ako. It was just silent. Ano to, prank call?
"Hello, who is this?" Bored kong sabi muli.
I don't have time for prank callers. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako at pinulot ang cellphone ko.
"Just like I thought..."
I was surprised to hear that voice kaya napatingin lang ako sa ongoing call sa phone ko.
"... I've been calling you but it looks like you blocked my number." Sabi niya ulit with a serious tone.
Napabuga ako ng hangin at ibinalik ang cellphone sa tabi ng notebook.
"What do you want, Ice?" I wearily asked while now looking at my unfinished notes.
"I want to have a proper talk with you." He calmly reply.
"About what?" Tanging tanong ko lang ulit.
"May dapat ba tayong pag usapan?" I confusedly asked.
He answered with a low voice as if he's only telling himself.
"What?" I didn't hear him clearly, but I know I heard a word 'bakit' and 'manhid'.
Nadinig ko siyang napabuntong hininga.
"Are you mad at me?" He suddenly asked which made me confused.
"Huh? Bakit naman ako magagalit sayo?" Tanong ko naman sa kaniya.
"... Because I blocked your number?" Natatawang tanong ko ulit at wala naman akong reply na nareceive mula sa kaniya.
"Well, I did block your number including Alexus, when I was in Cebu." I honestly answered.
"Why? You don't want us to call you, while you're having a good time there?" Seryosong tanong niya.
Napailing naman ako. I didn't answered since what he said was true. And I heard him sighed.
"I'll be hanging up. I know you're busy." Tanging sabi niya.
Tiningnan ko lang ongoing call sa phone ko. Hindi niya pa pinapatay. Nakatingin lang ako dito hanggang enend na niya ang call.
I was a bit confused but then hindi ko na ito inisip at nag patuloy nalang sa ginagawa.
Kinabukasan since Sunday ay nag stay lang kaming lahat sa bahay. Blake and Clayd washed our cars with the help of our guards while Zel and I decided to stayed at the pool area para tumambay lang. Since palagi lang kaming nasa loob ng bahay lalo na sa mga kwarto namin.
Tomorrow's Monday, and RU's midterm examination will start.
So, I'm sure busy lahat ng students lalo na ang mga grade conscious.
"Partial grades this semester will be out after midterm exams, right?" Zel suddenly asked.
"I guess so." I just simply answered.
"Gosh, I'm planning to be on the top ten in our department. Do you think, I'll be able to do it?" Tanong niya naman.
Tumingin lang ako sa kaniya at ngumiti.
"Why not? I'm sure you can do it." Nakangiti kong sabi sa kaniya.
"Hay, Sana nga." At ngumuso siya.
Napailing nalang ako at ibinalik ang tingin sa librong binabasa ko.
I'm sure she can do it. She's smart anyway. I'm really looking forward for her and the two guys who's now walking to our way, to beat the rankings of there departments.
