Uraraka: "The lowest scorer will be expelled!?! It's only the first day! I mean, If it weren't... That's totally unfair!" She cried
Aizawa: "Natural Disasters, Highway pileups, Rampaging villains... Calamity is always right around the corner. I'd say Japan is full of unfair things. Heroes are the ones who correct all that unfairness." He replied
Y/n flashes back to a memory of the past
"I know it feels unfair, but you gotta live with it, master it, then force it to be fair..."
Y/n remembers back to when he first got his quirk, when he had shut down an entire pre-school
The pro hero that was called to the scene that day...

Aizawa: "If you were hoping to spend your evenings hanging out at McDonalds... I'm sorry to tell you that for the next three years... UA will run you through the wringer. That's Plus Ultra. Use all your strength to overcome this unfairness. So bring it."
Everyone accepted this explanation and began to prepare mentally and physically, stretching and flexing
Aizawa: "The demonstration is over. Now it's for real."
Event 1: 50-Meter Dash
Y/n stood at the starting line beside a girl with headphone jacks for earlobes
"Just try your hardest, there's nothing your quirk can do to help" Y/n thought to himself, placing his hands on the ground in the starting position
Robot: "GO!" It signaled
Y/n sprinted as fast as he could muster, easily overtaking the earlobe girl, having long legs really gives an advantage, much bigger strides
Y/n reached the finish line and passed
Robot: "6.61 seconds" It reported
"Beat my middle school record by miles" He thought to himself, catching his breath
The earlobe girl finished not far behind
ELG: "Wow, you're really fast, and you didn't even use your quirk" She smiled, catching her breath
Y/n: "Thanks, my quirk wouldn't have helped at all." Y/n chuckled lightly "I'm Y/n L/n." He held his hand out
She smiled and accepted the handshake
Jiro: "Kyoka Jiro" She smiled
We had a nice chat and watched as Midoriya got a pretty bad score
Jiro: "Why isn't he using his quirk, from what I heard, he's got a super powerful one" She inquired
Y/n: "His body doesn't react kindly to him using it, it grinds his bones into dust" Y/n explained
Jiro: "Really? Yeesh that must suck" She frowned
Y/n: "...Yeah"
Event 2: Grip Strength
Y/n gripped the machine and began to squeeze
The machine beeped and read out his score
Robot: "49kg"
Y/n: "Tsk, Could be worse"
Event 3: Standing Long Jump
Y/n leaped as hard as he could
Event 4: Side-Stepping
Y/n didn't do too well in this one
Some short kid got the best score by bouncing off of the ball thingy that are his hair
"Hmm, intuitive." Y/n thought to himself
Event 5: Ball Throw
Y/n POV
Uraraka threw the ball and activated her quirk, it flew up and up, until the machine Aizawa was holding read out Infinity
??: "Infinity?! Wow! The infinity symbol actually popped up!"
Next up was my turn... I am so fucked...
Aizawa: "L/n hurry up we haven't got all day" He said lazily
I stepped up to the circle and looked at the ball in my hands
"I best prepare myself to go home," I thought to myself, already accepting my fate
But when I looked down, a certain bump was visible in my shorts pocket
Curiously, I reached in and pulled out the perpetrator, it was the box of matches I found earlier today
My eyes widened as a plan began to formulate itself in my head
My frown was immediately replaced with a wide grin as I began to release my gas in front of me
Aizawa POV
What is he doing?... I thought to myself
To think a boy with a quirk like his managed to pass the entrance exam impresses and astonishes me
I was snapped out of my thoughts when L/n began to yell at me and the class
Y/n: "Hey Aizawa! I'll be giving the lesson today!" He yelled, still filling the space in front of him with his gas "Now class! The effects of my gas when inhaled can have some rather scary effects, but that's not the only effect!" He takes some matches from his pocket and lights one, holding it in his left hand while his right-hand holds the ball "It's also..." He lightly tosses the ball up "Flammable!" He thrusts the match into the cloud of gas
A massive explosion erupts, sending L/n flying backward and the ball flying forwards. The shockwave made the class and I cover our eyes from the dust.
The measurement machine beeped and I checked the score
619 meters?... Heh... Nice job kid I smiled
Aizawa: "Iida, go check if L/n is ok"
Iida: "Yes sir!" He ran off
"You've changed a lot from the kid who was scared of his own quirk, I expect a lot from you L/n" I smiled
Y/n POV
That explosion was way bigger than I had anticipated!
It felt like part of my body was on fire, but I can worry about that once I catch my breath
The sounds of rapid footsteps break me out of my thoughts
Iida: "L/n! Have you sustained any major injuries?!" He does the weird arm movements
Y/n: "Iida *huff huff* What was my score?" I puffed out
Iida: "I believe it was over 600 meters, an incredible score" He complimented, adjusting his glasses
I smiled and lay my head back on the ground
"Now I need you to do good as well Midoriya!" I thought
For some reason, my leg felt really hot
Y/n: "Iida... is my leg on fire?"
Iida: "Oh Dear!" He realized and began to pat down the fire
Timeskip~
I had been treated for the burns on my leg by Recovery Girl (Who gave me some gummy bears!) And I made my way to return to the class.
When I got there, it seemed like Aizawa had just finished talking to Midoriya
Curious, I walked up to a small group of students consisting of Iida, Bakugo and Uraraka
Y/n: "What have I missed" I call out
Uraraka: "Oh you're back! How's the leg? You did really well on the ball throw!" She bombarded me
Bakugo: "Deku's about to get kicked out" He sneered
Iida: "He hasn't shown his quirk at all" He pondered
Y/n: "Yes I'm back, The leg's fine, Thanks! And I wouldn't quit on Midoriya just yet" I replied, pointing a finger at Bakugo on the last one
Bakugo: "Shaddup! Your puny explosion was nothing compared to mine extra!" He yelled
I just pulled my eyelid down and poked my tongue at Bakugo as he turned his attention back to Midoriya
The broccoli boy was muttering to himself in the circle again, obviously thinking on how best to approach the throw
He reeled his arm back and went for the throw, he activated OFA, but not throughout his whole are, he compressed it into his finger, sending the ball flying at ludicrous speeds
The machine beeped and I looked over to check his score
Machine: "705.3"
Even Aizawa was impressed
We were snapped out of our thoughts when Midoriya called out
Midoriya: "Sensei!... I can still move"
Aizawa gave a creepy smile
Aizawa: "This kid..."
I wasn't as reserved
Y/n: "HA! In your stupid scowling face Bakugo!"
Heyo! sorry about leaving you guys for a week, I was just extremely lazy, like I had half the chapter done and just... didn't do anything, also I've been grinding Risk of Rain 2, but now it's 10pm and I got it finished!
