About 20 minutes later, the nurse came in to give you some food since you hadn't ate anything for a few hours.
You ate your food with little appetite.
You were constantly staring out the window while still thinking about what just happened.
If Bonten really does show no mercy towards traitors like the doctor said then why didn't they kill you?
They think you betrayed them so what's holding them back?
Not that you actually wanted to die of course but it just didn't make sense.
Ran and Rindou hit you with ZERO hesitation so what gives?
The others could've literally pointed their guns at you and shoot you right then and there.
Maybe they wanted answers from me?
But if that's the case then why did Ran knock me out?
Maybe they were told to keep me alive?
Did Mikey tell them to?
Now that you thought about it, you didn't see Mikey anywhere in that room.
Neither was Suki, Kakucho and Kokonoi.
You had so many questions and thought of so many scenarios.
But you were pulled out of your thoughts when you heard the door being opened.
"Hello Miss (L/N)."
You just nodded and looked back at the window.
"Oh, you're still eating....I can come back later if you want."
You- "No its okay...I don't have much of an appetite right now.."
"Should I call the nurse?"
You- "No, if she sees my tray, she will tell me that I have to finish it all.."
"You think she will?"
You- "I KNOW she will..."
"You're pretty confident aren't you?"
You- "Well I am a nurse..."
"I see...well then if I may, I have some things to share with you.."
You sighed.
You- "Alright, lets just get this over with.."
"My name is Detective Naoto Tachibana, I am the Chief here in Tokyo."
You- "Nice to meet you Naoto."
Naoto- "I know you woke up not too long ago and you're in alot of pain but I do have some questions for you."
You- "I'm sorry detective, but I don't really remember anything after I was knocked out."
Naoto- "I know...I just want to know how they treated you."
You gazed down slightly.
Naoto- "First off, how did you even come across them?"
You- "Fate I guess?"
Naoto- "What does that mean?"
You- "I mean, I checked into a penthouse in Roppongi one night, went partying later on that night, got back, and next thing I know they were already at the suite......saying that the staff must've double booked the suite by mistake."
Naoto hummed.
Naoto- "I'm sorry but that sounds odd, how can they book a VIP room twice?"
You- "I know it sounds weird but it does happen often where I'm from.....at least the simple rooms..."
Naoto nods.
Naoto- "Did they try to harm you when they discovered you?"
You remembered the time when Sanzu almost shot your head when you first arrived at the hideout.
And the time Mikey choked you in your sleep.
And when Sanzu grazed your neck with his katana.
And of course the baton incident.
There have been plenty of times but you didn't want to tell Naoto that.
You know its bad but you just couldn't tell a cop this.
You- "More like threatened really...but nothing too extreme.."
Naoto nodded and thought for a bit.
Naoto- "What about drugs? Did they push any to you?"
You gazed down as you remembered the time Takeomi almost gave you Oxycontin, but that wasn't by force so you didn't count that.
You shook your head.
Naoto- "Did they ever held you at gunpoint?"
Rindou.
He held a gun to your head TWICE.
The first time was to test you.
But the second time....
You weren't sure if he really intended to kill you, but you noticed the safety button was ON at that time.
You shook your head.
Naoto- "I don't believe you..."
You looked at him.
Naoto- "(Y/N), I know you are afraid to speak up because they almost killed you but you have to trust me when I tell you, they will not hurt you again."
He then gently grazed the cut on your neck.
Naoto- "This didn't happen because you fell...."
He then touched the bruise on your cheek.
Naoto- "And this is no accident..."
You gazed down a bit and lifted your hand up to gently push Naoto's hand away.
Naoto looked at you.
Your face showed no expression but he could tell your mind is running wild.
Naoto- "I'm sorry..."
You kept your gaze down.
Naoto- "If I had known you were the one gathering information for Bonten then I would've put a stop to this operation from the very beginning."
You clenched your teeth and tightly gripped the bedsheets.
Naoto- "If I had known the Chief convinced a tourist to get information for him then I would've-."
You- "-I DIDN'T SPY ON THEM FOR YOU!"
Naoto froze in shock.
You- "EVERYONE THINKS I BETRAYED THEM BUT REALLY I DIDN'T! I DON'T KNOW HOW ALL FINGERS POINTED AT ME WHEN I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING! ALL I DID WAS SIMPLY EXIST BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN I ALMOST DIED! SO PLEASE TELL ME WHY EVERYONE THINKS I WAS THE SPY ALL ALONG?!"
Naoto studies your face.
You were angry.
Confused.
And hurt.
He even noticed that you were struggling to fight back your tears.
He understands the situation.
Naoto- "You didn't know...didn't you?"
You looked up at him in confusion.
Naoto- "You didn't know you were being used as the informant...didn't you?"
You blinked a few times.
You- "being used?....what does that mean?"
Naoto sighs.
Naoto- "I had my suspicions from the day the Chief arrived here...that he has informed me that he has someone gathering information for him....at first I thought nothing of it because as a Chief myself, I trusted his work....but when I had asked him who the informant was, he started to get upset with me....and the more upset he got whenever I mentioned it, the more suspicious I got....and after finding out he has been working behind my back....I decided to go behind HIS and asked a trusted friend of mine to hack into his computer...and there I found the truth...."
You- "The truth.?"
Naoto- "But I still don't know how he did it....or how he managed to get away with doing this but...I think you should know something...."
*BANG*
You both turned your head after seeing someone entering the room.
Your eyes widening at the person standing in front of you.

"Sir!! Sir! Sir you can't go in that room!"
"Detective Tachibana had informed us not to let you in!"
The Chief ran inside the hospital after he had received word that Naoto was going to speak to the informant.
Disregarding the threat Naoto had told him last night, he wanted to see how you were doing.
Chief- "I don't care!! I'm going in"
"Sir! Sir we will call security if you step within 20 fe-!"
"Oh no! He's in!!
"Call security!!"
The Chief ran down the hall and quickly opened the room door.
The room where you and Naoto were in.
They both looked at the Chief as he barged in.
Naoto stood up, getting ready to draw his gun at the intruder.
Naoto- "What are YOU doing here Chief?"
The Chief huffed as he tried to catch his breath after fighting the group of doctors and nurses earlier.
Chief- "I'm not here for you...."
The Chief ignores Naoto's death glare and looks directly at you.
Your eyes widened at the person standing in front of you.
