Te'lani mother fixed her cap on her head smiling at her daughter brightly.
"i'm so proud of you" Brittany smiled at her daughter.
she was happy her daughter was graduating and wanting to know what she wanted to do with her life.
"i'm nervous" Te said watching Ce walk through the door.
" still don't know how I'm graduating" Cece laughed.
"me either" Brittany said hugging her.
"see you didn't need to say that"
"what time we leaving?" Ju walked in.
"right now but who said you can come?" Te asked him.
"girl me i gotta be there supporting y'all" Ju smiled.
"he the only one I like" Brittany said grabbing her keys.
"y'all ready?" Cece's mama asked as they walked towards the auditorium.
"yeah i already know what teacher i'm smacking with my diploma"
"they gone revoke that bitch" Ju shook his head.
"won't Murda be here with Jess?" I asked.
"nah she was missing some credits but they did come for his cousin" Ju told us.
"not she missing credits" Ce laughed.
"ok come on" I said seeing everybody were walking into the auditorium.
"not my nephew finna walk da stage before his daddy" Ju shook his head.
"boy come sit down"Brittany pulled him over to where the families were sitting.
Te'lani and Cerena went to their seats and sat down.
the principal walked to the podium and began speaking.
"he need to hurry up" cece whispered rolling her eyes.
"no seriously" Le frowned .
"look at Jess dumb ass sad she ain't get to graduate" Ce pointed at Jess who eyes were puffy.
Te'lani shook her head.
"it's about time he started calling names he been talking for to long" Te mumbled.
30 mins later
"Te'lani Ford" He called over the microphone.
Te'lani told to her feet and walked up the stage.
The cheers from her family filled the whole auditorium.
"congratulations" He shook her hand handing her the diploma.
she smiled walking off the stage, she went back to her seat and Cece name was called next.
Te'lani was proud of her cousin and was glad she graduated with her.
"y'all been shaking hands to long" Ju yelled causing Ce to shake her head.
"bitch we did it" Cece smiled walking back to her seat.
he called everybody else's name and the families all began meeting up.
"i'm so proud of y'all" their mothers hugged them both.
"where Ju go?"
"with Murda, he said he gone meet us back at the house for the graduation party" Brittany told her.
"i'm ready to lay down" I frowned .
"lay down then" Murda came up to me.
my mama invited all to them to the graduation party.
most of my family was here but I didn't want to be bothered.
my feet were hurting and I had to talk to almost everybody here.
"lay with me" I side eyed him.
"come on" he grabbed my hand leading me to my room.
"don't try nothing either" I said stripping out my dress and putting on some shorts and a shirt.
"sit yo dumb ass down ain't nobody tryna do nun" He mugged me.
"just making sure stupid" I rolled my eyes getting into bed.
"you want a girl or boy?" he asked pulling me closer to him.
"a boy but if I was to have a girl I wouldn't mind" I said honestly.
"we having a boy i'm alr knowing"
"mhm" I mumbled closing my eyes.
"Tobias get up!" I heard.
he started moving around and finally opened his eyes.
"Jess take yo' dumb ass on" He said rubbing his eyes.
"you need to come home you laid up like mama didn't just get out of surgery"
"girl here he come please get out" I said rubbing my head.
I was still sleepy and her in here yelling was pissing me off.
"whatever" she walked out.
I watched as he got out of bed and put his shoes back on.
he grabbed all his stuff and left out the room.
"why do yo' bird ass always find a way to come to my auntie house?" I heard Cece say in the hallway.
"here we fucking go" I mumbled standing up and walking into the hallway.
"y'all not about to fight again, gone head Jess" Wes pushed her down the stairs softly.
"what's going on?" My mama yelled up the stairs.
"nothing we about to go Mama B" Ju hugged her.
"y'all be safe" she eyed all of them.
they all gave her hugs and walked out the house.
"Cerena you cannot beat her up everytime you see her" I groaned.
"yes I can and I will y'all need to stop saving her" Cece huffed.
"what you gone do at the baby shower?" I crossed my arms.
I told Murda he can bring as much family as he wanted.
I knew Jess and Jessie would be apart of it so Cece had to calm down for one day.
"nothing that's your day i'm not gone ruin it but any other time i'm beating her ass simple"
I nodded knowing it wasn't no stopping her.
"ok i'm going back to sleep Cece"
