NARRATOR
PAGKATAPOS kumain ni Samantha ng dala ni Irene para sa kan'ya, nagtaka naman siya nang makita niya lang si Irene na nakatitig sa kan'ya buong magdamag at hindi sumabay sa kan'ya sa pag-kain.
Noong una ay nag-aalinlangan pa siya na magtanong, pero ito lang din naman ang paraan para mabawasan na ang tanong sa isip niya.
"Ms. Irene, bakit hindi po kayo kumain?"
Tumingin naman si Irene sa kan'ya na nakatingin kanina sa bintana, sabay binaba ang kamay niyang nakatukod sa lamesa.
"Kumain na ako sa condo ko kanina," Simpleng sagot ni Irene na ikinatango na lamang ni Samantha.
"Kayo po ang nagluto?" Hirit na tanong pa ni Samantha.
"Malamang, alangan naman na bigyan kita ng niluto ni Rachel." Irene's grumbling reply.
"Po, ano po? Hindi ko po kasi kayo narinig eh," Samantha asked again because she didn't hear Irene's answer.
"Wala, ambingi mo. Bahala ka sa buhay mo, 'cause I won't repeat it again." Conyong saad ni Irene na ikinawingi ni Samantha.
"O-okay po."
Samantha was about to stand up, when she remembered that she almost forgot to return the bento box to Irene. So she put the bento box back in the paper bag and handed it to Irene.
Irene wondered when Samantha gave the bento box to her. "Ano 'to? Bakit mo binibigay sa akin?"
"Sinasauli ko na po sainyo, kasi tapos na ako kumain."
"Talaga ba, ms. Mendoza? Mukha ba akong basurahan? Basurero?"
Napakunot naman si Samantha sa sarkastikong sagot ni Irene. "Bakit po?"
Napahilot naman ng sentido si Irene at palo ng kamay sa lamesa nang tanungin siya ni Samantha pabalik. "Oh my gosh! Ms. Mendoza ang bento box ay disposable, not reusable. Okay!?"
"Gagawin mo pa akong basurero, eh ako na nga itong nagbigay sa'yo ng breakfast!"
Samantha just scratched her head since she didn't know that the bento box was disposable or being thrown away. She thought it was a normal food container that's why she returned it to Irene.
"Sorry po, hindi ko naman po alam eh."
"You're so maarte!" Irene snarled. "Ang sabihin mo kasi gusto mo lang maka-ulit ng libreng breakfast sa akin, kaya mo sinauli." Samantha raised her eyebrow at what she said.
'Ang assuming din neto eh!' Samantha thoughts while staring at Irene with her eyebrows raised.
"Ano, hindi ka makasagot no? Kasi it's true, 'di ba?"
"Hindi po no! Atsaka hindi naman ako nanghingi sa'yo ng breakfast eh, kusa po kayong nagbigay ganun."
"Ano ako si God? Kusang nagbibigay ng blessings?"
"Babae ka naman po ms. Irene, so paano ka magiging si God, eh wala ka rin namang tuytoy." Saad ni Samantha na ikinalaki ng mata ni Irene, dahil sa walang preno nitong bibig.
"Huy! Ang ingay mo. Pwede ba? Matuto ka naman ipreno 'yang bibig mo, dahil aatakihin na talaga ako sa puso dahil sa'yo!"
"May clinic naman diyan ms. Irene, lipad ka na lang."
"Anak ka ng– halika na nga at bilisan mo, para hindi ka malate sa subject ni mrs. Sanchez." Tumayo na si Samantha para itapon ang box sa trash can.
Ngunit napahinto naman siya sa pagtayo sa kadahilanang may tanong na naman na pumasok sa isip niya. "Bakit niyo po pala ako hinihintay ms. Irene, sasama po ba kayo sa akin?"
"Bakit saan ba ang punta mo?"
"Sa puso mo," Samantha flirtiously replied that caused Irene to blush, so she quickly hid her face. Luckily, Samantha didn't notice her ninja moves.
"Charot lang, kilig ka na kaagad miss eh," Samantha received a knock on the head from her sadistic professor.
"You flirt..– urgh! Bilisan mo na nga ang kilos para hindi ka malate kay mrs. Sanchez."
"Okay po ms. Tomato, hahaha!" Samantha continued teasing her. She just closed her eyes in annoyance.
Ms. tomato for Irene, because Samantha's eyes witnessed how reddish Irene's face earlier when she made a banat.
When Samantha got up from her seat to throw the bento box in the trash, Irene slowly opened her eyes, glancing every movement of the girl. She let out a sigh and smiled lightly at the same time.
"She's so adorable."
They headed to the elevator to go up to the third floor after going in the cafeteria. it was just the two of them in the elevator again, so it was peacefully quiet inside.
But unexpectedly, the light in the elevator suddenly went out and they also felt the elevator stop going up.
"Anong nangyari, bakit huminto?" Samantha asked in panic while trembling. She turned on the flashlight of her phone to have a useful light inside the elevator.
"I don't know, bigla na lang huminto eh. Even the light also went out." Irene looked around the entire elevator to find the telephone or alarm that can be used to let those outside know that they were stuck inside.
"No, please. Ano ba 'yan, bakit ngayon pa!" Samantha said apprehensively while biting her nails.
"Why, bakit?"
"May recitation pa po kasi kami kay mrs. Sanchez, lagot po ako kapag nalate ako," Samantha replied
When Irene found the small phone near at the elevator buttons, she immediately tried it and called rescuer to report that they were stuck inside.
"Shit! Shit! Ito na, finally found it."
But woefully, the elevator's telephone doesn't work either so there's no hope of her calling the rescuer. Their only aim is their cellphones, but they still need a good signal to make text or call.
"I can't believe this! Argh – fuck!" Irene kicked the elevator in anger.
"Wala na! Stuck na nga tayo sa loob, tapos stuck pa tayo sa dilim." She complained. "Kung binilisan mo lang kasi sa paglalakad kanina, edi sana wala tayo dito na nakastuck sa dilim!" As she blamed Samantha, which made the girl emotionally shocked.
"M-miss.."
"Ano!? Mag-sosorry ka na naman? Ms. Mendoza, wala nang magagawa 'yang sorry mo, dahil nandito na tayo nagtitiis sa init at dilim!"
"I hate this fucking situation, I hate my life, and I hate you too!" Irene tweaks her own pixie hair.
"You are a such useless fool!" Huling sinambit ni Irene bago umupo sa sahig ng elevator.
Samantala, ang babae naman na sinabihan niya ay pinipigilang maluha sa harapan niya kahit pinalilibutan sila ng dilim. Hindi siya makasagot sa sinabi ni Irene. Dahil once na magsalita siya, lalabas lahat ng luha niya sa mata at hahagulgol nang malakas.
'Yun pa naman ang ayaw niyang ipakita kay Irene, ayaw niyang masabihan na mahina at mangmang kung iiyak lang siya sa mga pangungutya nito sa kan'ya.
Umupo na lamang siya kagaya ni Irene sa isang sulok at mariing pumikit nang maramdaman niyang tumutulo na ang kanyang mga luha sa mata. Hindi niya na ito napigilan pa, dahil sa sakit nang nararamdaman niya.
But she couldn't do anything either, because she knew Irene by that attitude. And by that attitude, she was fascinated by her feelings for her sadistic and harsh-speaking professor.
The more Irene underestimates her, the more she feels deeply for her professor.
After a moment of silence around them, the elevator light suddenly turned on. Irene stood up and immediately checks the elevator buttons.
But unfortunately, it still doesn't really work. Only light was given to them to survive.
"Bullshit!" Irene cursed. "I can't do this anymore, may meeting pa ako para mamaya!" She furiously tried to dial the university's emergency number on her phone.
Irene made several calls, but there was absolutely no signal inside the elevator. She only gets 'no service' that's why she throws her cellphone in impatience.
"Fucking useless thing!" She angrily sat on the floor again in vexation.
Samantha on the other hand, trying to calm herself since she has a phobia when it comes to spaces that are closed and no air. A Claustrophobia.
She was just sitting in the corner with her head leaning against the wall of the elevator while trying to suppress her trembling. Irene on the opposite side, is losing hope of finding a way to get out of the elevator, plus she is sweating and thirsty.
Her skin is not used to windless places and the last time she drank water was this morning.
"Ang init," Irene complained, subsequently removed the three buttons of her polo blouse which caused her cleavage to be exposed and her black brassiere quite visible.
Samantha heard her complaint, but she rather to keep quiet and calm herself, than mouthed anything. She doesn't want to hear any more words from Irene that might hurt her feelings.
"I'm so thirsty," Irene softly mumbled, yet Samantha heard her clearly.
She thought twice while holding her tumbler, whether to give it to Irene or not. Gusto niyang maging mabuti kay Irene kahit na kabaliktaran naman ito nang pakitungo ng propesor niya sa kan'ya.
When Samantha shifted her gaze to Irene, she was stunned when she saw her professor's chest with her cleavage and bra are uncover.

Dasal niya sa isip nang makita nito ang kabuuhan na hinaharap ng kan'yang propesor. Nagiging mabigat ang kan'yang paghinga, kaya mariin siyang pumikit at lumunok.
Nilakasan niya ang kan'yang loob na tanungin ang propesor kaysa naman na mamatay ito sa uhaw kasama niya.
"M-ms. Irene?"
"Umm?" Irene sexily hummed.
"Tubig po," Samantha offered, but the professor didn't accept it.
"For what?" Mataray na tanong ni Irene at tinaasan ng kilay si Samantha.
"Narinig ko po kasi na nauuhaw ka, kaya ito po tubig,"
"Tch! May tenga ka rin pala eh, akala ko tuluyan ka ng nabingi." Irene murmured. "I don't need that, I might be poisoned."
"I'm not like the others naman po, ms. Irene. Kasi ininuman ko pa po 'to kanina and look, I didn't die." Samantha chuckled softly.
Irene thought about the kindness of the girl she was with. Because after she spoke badly to the girl, Samantha still responded her a kindness.
"Really? After I yelled you earlier, this is how you will repay me?" Irene asked. "Ano 'to pinapakonsensya mo ako?" Samantha shooked her head in response.
"No, ms. Irene. I'll never take a revenge on all those people who are insulting me. My parents raised me well po, even though we came from hardships back then," Samantha clarified.
"Talaga lang, huh! 'Cause I will sue you talaga kapag nalason ako sa tubig mo." Irene threatened her that made the girl laughs softly.
"Kesa naman po mamatay kayo sa uhaw 'di ba? At least diyan sa tubig ko mamaya pa kayo mamamatay." Irene thought for a moment. At nang makuha niya ang pinupunto ni Samantha, hinampas niya naman ito sa braso nang nagkalakas-lakas.
"You bitch! Papatayin mo pa talaga ako."
Samantha laughed when Irene got her point, but the truth is, It was just a joke. She's expecting that her professor would laugh at her joke, but she was wrong. Because, she received another strong slap.
"Your joke is so dark ms. Mendoza! It's not funny to be honest."
"Hindi ka pa nga nakakasiguro na joke 'yun ms. Irene, eh." Hirit pa niya at tumawa nang malakas. Samantalang si Irene naman ay namumula sa takot.
Tila ba'y nawala ang uhaw niya dahil sa kalokohan na sinasabi ng dalaga sa kanya.
"Bahala ka mamatay diyan sa tubig na iniinom mo!" Sirit ni Irene habang naniningkit ang mga mata sa inis.
"Okay lang, at least mamamatay akong hindi nauuhaw."
"Stop teasing me ms. Mendoza, you're so annoying!"
"Magkaiba po ang nang-aasar sa nagsasabi ng totoo, ms. Irene," Samantha giggles when she sees the expression on Irene's face. Annoyed expression.
Irene's eyes were stinging because of her evil stare at Samantha, her jaw was clenching, and her teeth are gritting. Samantha on the opposite hand, accidentally looked down at Irene's chest again, so she swallowed again and bit her lips.
She badly wanted to tell Irene to button her polo shirt because her eyes were not comfortable with what she was seeing.
She took a deep breath first. "Ms. Irene, pwede po bang paki-butones na ng polo niyo? Hindi na po ako kumportable sa nakikita ko." She directly ordered to Irene habang nakapikit ang mga mata.
"What?" Irene asked her.
"I said, pwede po ba na paki-butones na ng polo niyo,"
"Kasi?" Irene asked teasingly while secretly grinning.
"K-kasi... uh.. hindi na po ako kumportable sa nakikita ko.." Samantha bit her lips.
"What? I can't understand ms. Mendoza," Irene really heard and understood what she wants, but her professor just wanted to turn the tables. Siya naman ang mang-aasar sa dalaga.
"Ms. Irene naman, eh!" Pagmamaktol ng dalaga sa kan'ya. "‘Yung dede niyo po kasi nakaharap na sa akin."
Namula naman si Irene sa dinagdag ni Samantha."Oh my god, ms. Mendoza! Wala ba talagang preno 'yang bibig mo? Aanhin ka ba neto, eh parang mas malaki nga 'yang sa'yo!"
"Miss naman! Ano 'to palakihan? By size ganun? Ako si Tony Following, tapos ikaw si Toni Gonzaga. Hahaha!"
"Toni, what?"
"Wala joke lang po 'yun." Samantha laugh softly. "Pero miss sige na po kasi! Takpan niyo na." Pagpupumilit niya kay Irene.
"No, don't, ayoko. Atsaka mainit," Irene refused. "If you don't want to see this, then remove your eyes ms. Mendoza," Napakamot na lamang si Samantha sa kan'yang batok.
"Kung pwede lang po ms. Irene, dahil gagawin ko talaga!"
"Then do it, gusto mo support pa kita?"
"No need po ms. Irene," Samantha forcedly gave Irene a fake smile. "Tatanggalin ko 'tong mata ko, 'tapos tanggalin niyo rin po 'yang dede niyo." Fortunately, Irene didn't hear her mumbles.
"Huh?"
"Halaman." Samantha answered teasingly before shutting her eyes.
They have been waiting for almost several hours for someone to respond to their cellphone texts and calls, so they can get out of the elevator safely.
Ang tanging magagawa lang nila ay maghintay na mapansin ng mga rescuer na sira ang elevator, para maayos nila ito.

"MAGANDANG TANGHALI PO, madam D. Nagawa na po namin ang pinapagawa niyo. Dalawang oras na po siyang nasa elevator ngayon nang walang nakakapansin na sira ito." A manly voice said on the phone. The girl chuckles devilishly and smirked.
"Then great, I'll just send my payment to your card, mister." The unspecified girl replied while hiding at the comfort room of university.
"Sa uulitin po ulit madam D, maraming salamat!"
"Hmmm, sige." She looked in the mirror after she hang up the call.
"Say bye bye, Samantha Louise Mendo–"
She couldn't finish what she's going saying when someone entered the comfort room.
"Darlyne!"
She sighed in annoyance. "What now, Nadya?!"
"Si Samantha nasa loob ng elevator, na stuck" Nadya replied anxiously, nakatanggap naman siya nang nananaliksik na mata kay Darlyne dahil sa sinabi niya.
"‘Yun nga 'yung plano, 'di ba?! Are you stupid?" Nadya shook her head and gestured her hand for Darlyne to listen at she was pointing out.
"No Darlyne, I mean Samantha wasn't alone inside the elevator. May kasama siya."
"What, edi sino?"
"Si ms. Irene,"
Darlyne's eyes widened in nervousness when she found out who Samantha was with inside the elevator. She immediately arranged her things in the bag and left.
"That nerve professor!"
