Chess board and square names

This is a chess board.
There two teams are:-
1) Team White
2) Team Black
Square names:-
What are square names?
We cannot call the squares as a white or black square. They too have special names. The vertical column of squares are called files (1 to 8). The horizontal rows of squares are called ranks (a to h).
How to name a square?
Well, we can name a square with it's file and rank. Example:- a2, h6, d8.
