Aires pov...

I had no business being in school, but I couldn't sit in the apartment with Allison and Chris' eyes on me.

Allison wasn't exactly speaking to me after my breakdown, I had scared her away from me- and I hated that I had done that but was grateful I did. The further away from me she was, the better. Chris thought I was fucking crazy, he thought I was losing my mind.

I needed away from them all.

"Where is everyone?" I asked as she pulled off my top to switch it out with my gym wear.

"I don't know." Kira mumbled back with a frown.

I hadn't had a single conversation with the girl since she had somehow joined the pack. I hadn't exactly given her the best first impression, but in my defence, it wasn't entirely my fault. I didn't trust people, I refused to let people in. But with Kira I was going to try, however, the prickling feeling that Kira had something more to do with everything refused to leave. It had been present ever since I met the girl.

"Somethings not right." I muttered whilst looking around at the empty locker room.

"Like what?"

"Well several things. I've been in the boys locker room more times than the girls and yet theirs is somehow better." I shot back with a roll of my eyes.

"You've been in the boys locker room?"

"Yes, anyways, somethings up. Scott and Aiden have all declined my calls. They wouldn't do that, especially not at a time like this."

A silence settled in the room as I wandered off with thoughts of the past few days. The pack had fallen apart, worse than ever before. We were not united, but we were not against each other. We were all just, separated.

"Have you spoken to Allison or Lydia?" Kira whispered.

"Not really, not since Isaac's been in the hospital. We spoke last night but it wasn't really a friendly, heartfelt chat. Lydia's been with Morgan and hasn't been returning any of my texts."

"Aires, it's not your fault."

Those were the words I had heard the most since the host of the nogitsune was revealed, but no matter how much I was told them, I had yet to believe them. I broke the seal that kept the creature at bay, I let it out into the world. Therefore in my eyes I was responsible.

I was the reason Isaac was in hospital, why there was a trail of bodys that the nogitsune had left. I was the reason why everything in Beacon Hills had gone to hell.

"Hey." Kira softly whispered before suddenly pulling me into a hug and slightly stunning me. "It's not your fault, Aires. You didn't mean to cause any of this-"

"But I did, Kira." I blew out in a lifeless mutter. "I broke it and I- I don't know how to fix it."

Everything was going wrong.

People were dying.

And I spiralled whilst I desperately searched for a solution.

Aires pov...

"REMEMBER, STAY ON THE TRACK THAT IS SET OUT FOR YOU! I DON'T NEED ANY OF YOU DUMBASSES GETTING LOST!" Coach screamed as he paced in front of the starting line. "NOW."

The second the whistle was blown, I pushed off the ground and let my legs move as fast as they could. Running was my makeshift escape. I had run out of drugs and switched to old medications I had stashed yet nothing had the effect I craved for.

I needed a high, and it wasn't the right time for her to go to Aiden in hopes of having sex for the high of an orgasm.

Running was my next best option.

"YOUR FAST!" I screamed to Kira who was by my side in the lead.

"YOUR FASTER!" Kira screamed back.

"I KNOW."

With a shake of my head, I pushed myself to run faster than ever before. The wind smacked against my face as every tensed up muscle in my body began to relax. All the pain, anger and frustration that had stayed pent up in me finally started to disappear.

Breathing was suddenly a little easier.

As I flew around the corner, a strong set of arms wrapped around my waist and pulled my body into their chest. A shriek flew past my lips as went tumbling down the hill, collecting leaves and dirt in our path.

The second we hit the floor with a thud, my eyes flew open to see him staring at me.

"Seriously?" I hissed at Aiden with narrowed eyes. "I was in the lead-"

He cut off my words with a sudden kiss, and suddenly, all else was forgotten. As he pulled back, I could see something in his eyes, something he knew that I didn't. He hadn't answered my calls, and my guess was because he had found out something.

"Did you see how fast I was running?" I asked whilst waiting for the other shoe to drop.

"I did."

"And what did you think?"

"I think that you're incredibly amazing and have fantastic stamina."

"Care to test my stamina, loverboy?"

"I so would." He groaned, bringing a hint off of a smirk to my lips. "But I have to tell you something."

My smirk dropped as fast as it had come.

"We found Stiles."

The world went silent as his words echoed in my mind. They had found Stiles. I should have been happy, should have been jumping for fucking joy. But instead I was paralysed by something

"Aires?"

They found Stiles

Why wasn't I happy?

"I need to see him." I muttered before sliding off of him and stumbling onto my feet.

As we raced through the woods, I tried to pretend that I was happy, that there wasn't a dreading in my chest. The voices had been taunting me for days to kill him, they wanted me to find him.

We came to a stumbling stop. I couldn't move, my eyes were locked on him whilst he was in a conversation with Scott. He was standing in front of me, and instead of smiling, a chill raced down my spine because suddenly, something inside me told me to wrap my hands around his neck and choke the life out of him before it was too late.

"You found Stiles." I muttered under my breath.

They said they found Stiles, not the nogitsune.

But I didn't recognise the boy in front of me.

"CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON?" Coach demanded.

My head quickly turned to the side, however, instead of locking onto coach, my eyes locked onto a string- a trap

"NO!" I screamed as I lunged towards him.

However, my scream came too late. An arrow whizzed through the air and straight into Coach's chest, bringing a choking gasp from my lips.

Crimson red stained Coach's shirt as his body dropped onto the floor with a thud, eliciting screams from all the students around them. Panic mode kicked into me, making me sprint to Coach's side and drop onto my knees. My fingers brushed over the arrow, over the blood

"EVERYONE GET AWAY FROM HIM!" I shrieked as I threw my hands into the air, motioning for the crowd to back up.

Injuries with arrows weren't new to me, I had grown up in a family full of werewolves that had more than one gotten themselves in trouble with hunters. It was nothing new to me, I had helped Derek multiple times before with similar injuries. I could work with what I had, my hands. But I couldn't under the pressure of everyone around me.

I didn't know if the arrow was laced with something, what make it was- how deep it was. And whilst I knew that more times than not you were supposed to leave it in, I knew that it had to come out.

"REE?" Scott shrieked in a panicked tone as his eyes flickered between the arrow and me.

"HANG ON!" I yelled back whilst I inspected the length of the weapon, figuring out exactly how to go about the situation.

"AIRES?" Scott yelled as Coach started frantically thrashing about.

"JUST GIVE ME A MINUTE!" I screamed back. "Coach, stop fucking moving!"

"I'M GONNA DIE!"

"SHUT UP!"

"I'M GOING TO DIE!"

"Scott, take some of his pain, this is gonna hurt like a bitch." I hissed under my breath as my fingers wrapped around the arrow, bracing myself to rip it out.

With everyone's eyes on me, I slowly twisted the arrow whilst pulling it out of Coach's chest. It slipped out so easily. A small sigh escaped my lips as I quickly placed my hands over the wound, pressing down on it to control the bleeding.

"Aires, baby you're shaking." Aiden suddenly whispered in my ear.

"I'm fine."

I could feel Stiles eyes on me, watching me, but I refused to look up. Coach's blood was on my hands, crimson red coated my skin, and it was taking everything in me not to panic because of it.

Please stop looking at me- I silently pleaded.

Please stop

The sound of sirens filled the air, and quickly, the ambulance pulled up. Aiden wrapped his arms around my body and pulled me away whilst the paramedics got to work.

"It's all over me- It's..."

"Aires-"

"There's blood on my hands." I choked out in a lifeless whisper.  "Its all on me-"

"I dont know whats going on in that head of yours but I know its not good. Aires I don't know what you want me to do but I can't sit here and watch you like this. Please let me take you home-"

"No- I need..."

What did I need?

The blood off my hands? Some fucking space?

"Stiles." I whispered before glancing up. "I need to find Stiles."

I needed to speak to him, to be in front of him- I needed to know if what I was feeling was in my head or if it was real

I flew around the corner and came to a stumbling stop. He was standing in front of me, he glanced at me for a second before his eyes dropped to the floor.

"Stiles?" I whispered.

I watched as he turned on his heel and walked away, shattering the last bit of hope I had. In the second he glanced at me, I saw hate. Hate for me.

He hated me for what I did- for letting it out.

All of my worst fears had come true, everyone blamed me. Allison couldn't look at me. Stiles hated me. Lydia was ignoring me.

And standing staring after my old best friend, I realised I was finally at my breaking point. I couldn't fix what she broke. Not this time.

"Is that the real him?" Aiden suddenly asked as he appeared at my side.

"What?"

"Stiles." Just the mention of his name was enough to make my heart ache. "Is that really him?"

"He couldn't even look at me, Aiden-"

The sudden blare of my phone going off sent me searching in my pocket. With a frown, I pulled it out and answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Aires, it's Parrish. I hate to tell you this but Chris and Derek have been arrested."

"'I'll be there in ten minutes." I muttered with a sigh.

Aires pov...

"Are you two fucking kidding me?" I hissed with wild eyes as I walked into the station.

I was seeing red

With everything going on, the two idiots in front of me were the last people I had expected to cause another problem in my life.

"Murder?" I hissed as I got into their faces. "What the fuck did you two idiots do?"

"I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that being arrested for murder would inconvince your to do list for the day." Derek sarcastically mumbled, and it took everything in me not to knock the asshole out.

"Would either one of you care to explain why I'm about to bail your asses out? If I'm wasting over one hundred thousand dollars I would like to know why-"

"ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS?" They both shrieked in unison, making me roll my eyes.

"Relax. It's going on your card Der-"

"Stiles framed us."

My lips snapped shut as I warily looked at my brother. "What do you mean Stiles framed you?"

"We don't know why yet, that's what we are trying to work out."

"Stiles?" I asked in disbelief. "You're sure?"

"Aires, you're needed over here." Parrish called from across the room whilst waving me over with his hand.

Shaking my head, I walked over to the desk and stared at the mountain of paperwork I was going to have to comb through.

"You know what happened?" Parish asked with a sympathetic smile.

"Not a clue." I shot back. "Cash or card?"

There was a sudden blare of an alarm, bringing a frown to my face. "Go stand with your brother, i'll be right back."

I didn't like that I was being ushered away, and I didn't like that there was an alarm going off that I wasn't familiar with. I knew their lockdown alarm, fire alarm- but the alarm ringing was something I had never heard.

With a frown, I wandered over to my brother.  "What's going on?" He demanded, however I walked past him, I needed to speak to Noah, to tell him Stiles had been found.

However, as I peered into his office, it was completely empty- except from a box that sat on his desk. Wrapped in a familiar wrapping paper, a bad feeling churned in my stomach. It was the one Stiles used on the gift for Coach.

The same gift I couldn't make sense of.

"AIRES!" Derek and Chris screamed, but as my head turned to face them, I was sent flying backwards.

Something exploded, sending me crashing onto the floor whilst shards of glass pushed their way into my body. A ringing echoed in my ears, blood pooled in my mouth- and seconds later my eyes fluttered closed.

✧∘* ೃ ⋆。˚.

"AIRES!" Derek screamed as he struggled to push himself onto his feet, shards of glass dug into his back, slightly swaying him about.

"STAY SAT!" Chris demanded as he jumped onto his feet and desperately searched the room for the girl. "AIRES!"

Nothing.

Nobody was moving. Everything was still.

Too still.

"AIRES!" He repeated, his screams becoming more frantic. "AIRES- Oh my god."

Horror filled his eyes as he sank onto his knees next to the girl's bloody body. She was completely unrecognisable, the only sign that she was the Hale was the tattoo on her collarbone. Glass was twisted in her hair whilst chunks of wood laid on top of her bloody and battered body.

"No." He whispered as his sobs filled the air.

She was barely alive

There was barely a pulse to find.

"NO!"

"CHRIS WHAT'S GOING ON?" Derek demanded.

"OH GOD NO." The Argent sobbed. "NO, AIRES PLEASE. PLEASE WAKE UP."

She wasn't breathing

There was no sign of a pulse anymore.

"NO! SOMEONE HELP ME!" He pleaded. "NO! AIRES. SWEETHEART PLEASE BREATHE. PLEASE BREATHE."

He couldn't do cpr on her, not with the state her body was in.

There was no hope.

✧∘* ೃ ⋆。˚.

"I didn't do cpr- I couldn't-" Chris sobbed as he ran along the stretcher with Aires body on it.

"She's breathing but barely." Melissa whispered with tear stained cheeks. "We have a chance to save her."

"DAD? DAD WHAT HAPPENED?" Allison screamed as she ran into her fathers arms.

"Allison."

"DAD?" She sobbed before letting out a pained scream and dropping onto her knees. "NO! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!" The two were hysterical as they stumbled into the hospital room.

"STAY WITH ME AIRES!" Melissa screamed as she checked over the girl's body.

Suddenly, the heart rate in the monitor stopped beeping, showing a flat line. Sobs filled the room as the nurses and doctors frantically ran about.

"STAY WITH ME AIRES!"

As Melissa did light cpr on the girl her pained screams grew louder and louder along with everyone else in the room.

"STAY WITH ME AIRES! STAY WITH ME!"

No matter how hard they tried, it was no use. The line on the monitor remained a straight line.

Aires Hale was pronounced dead.
