Evelyne's POV
I grabbed Jace's leg.
"Baby come out from under there."
Jace pulled a small part of the blanket away from me.
"For fuck's sake. Remember what I said earlier?"
I slowly took the blanket off me. I sat up. I wrapped my arms around Jace's right arm.
"H-hi."
"I remember you."
I started squeezing Jace's arm. He put his hand on my thigh. He started rubbing it.
This feels good.
Why does he have to do that now?!
"Get over it. Get your asses downstairs. Dinner's done."
Jace started squeezing my thigh.
Fuck!
I can't do anything right now!
"Bro what's your problem?"
Jace's hand started moving up.
"Do I have to drag you out of bed?"
"Fuck off!" Jace practically yelled.
Moxley ran up to my bed and ripped Jace away from it.
"Dude what the fuck?!"
He started choking Jace.
"NO!"
I stood up and jumped off my bed. I put myself in between Moxley and Jace. I started pushing my brother.
"GET OFF HIM!" I yelled as my voice cracked.
"What's going on?"
I looked and saw Bradley.
"He's choking Dom!"
Bradley ran over to us. He started helping me get Moxley away.
Jace is turning purple!
"STOP! PLEASE!"
"LET HIM GO!"

"MOXELY STOP!"
"GET OFF HIM! PLEASE!"
I kicked Moxley in the groin. Moxley slapped me. That caused me to scream. Then I realized.
"HE'S DRUNK! HE'S FUCKING DRUNK!"
He lifted Jace up.
"PUT HIM DOWN!"
We all kept trying to let Jace go.
I saw Jace's arms stop moving. I looked and saw his eyes were closed.
"NO!"
Moxley dropped him. Jace landed on his side. I immediately started to check on him.
"Jace?! Wake up! Baby!"
I checked to see if had a pulse and to see if he was still breathing.

He's got that.
He's breathing.
I put on my hands underneath his head. I lifted his head up to my chest. I started crying as I rocked him.
"Come on! Come on! Wake up! Baby please! I love you!"
I put my face in the crook of his neck.
"Wake up goddamnit! I just got you back! Dominik please!"
I felt arms going around my waist. I heard coughing.

"D-Dominik?"
"Baby? Why the hell am I on the floor?"
His voice is so raspy.
"Moxley choked you."
I helped him sit up.
"Shit. My head really hurts. So does my throat."
"Can you see straight?"
"Yeah. I'm just really dizzy."
"I'm gonna have your mom pick up your car. My mom's gonna go get her."
"Why?"
"Dumbass you're going to the hospital."
"No no. I'm okay."
He went to stand up but, he fell back down.
"You're not okay."
"Baby I'm okay."
He started crawling to my bathroom.
"Uh..baby? Where are you going?"
"I'm nauseous."
As soon as he got to my bathroom, he threw up.
"Shit."
I ran over to him. I sat down next to him. I started rubbing his back.
"Shit. We should've left when you asked. Sorry love."
"No don't be. It's fine."
He put his head on my shoulder.
"So you don't want to go to the hospital?"
"No. I'm sure I'll be fine in a few hours."
I was up all night. A few days later, he was still sick. Mostly because of headaches. One day, Moxley walked in. I stood up and put Jace behind me.
"Get the fuck out!"
"What did I do?"
"You don't fucking remember?!"
"D-don't yell. My head hurts."
"Fuck. I'm sorry babe."
I put my hand on his head. I started scratching his head.
"Get the hell out."
