tsuki had his hand over the wheel and you looked at his other hand on your lap, "what's on your mind?" you asked him
he side-eyed you and then looked ahead, "this car in front is so fucking slow-"
you could tell how easily annoyed he would get but you think it's super cute. just don't take it out on me kei-
your apartment with kei had finally been set up more perfectly than last time. you've been taking side classes for school without a busy schedule and tsuki has a week off as of right now.
you rubbed his hand that was on your lap, "we don't have to get mcdonald's since the line is so long-"
"didn't you say you wanted nuggets?"
"yes."
"so?" he asked and then chuckled, "i'm gonna get it for you"
you turned to the window and smiled a bit, "okay~"
"20 piece mc-nuggets please...that'll be all"
"okay pull up to the front." the speaker announced
tsuki reached into his pocket and took out his wallet, "take the card"
you took it out and looked at a polaroid picture from the inside and noticed how much time has passed since you both started dating. you smiled to yourself and passed him the card. his hand brushed yours and he waited until the food came.
you both enjoyed a share of nuggets in the car without making a mess. he has a thing with cleaning up and anything that contains hard work.
"you want boba?" he saw the look in your eyes wanting more
"i'm so happy you can read my mind" you cheerfully hugged him

you cuddled next to kei on the couch and started watching those cringe christmas movies that played right before the holiday started. the apartment was decorated with the smallest amounts of effort yet still looked decent.
you would've wanted a pinterest inspired house but tsuki just cares that we have a roof over our head. that's reasonable too-
"what grinch movie is better?" you looked up at tsuki
he stayed silent for a second just to think, "the animated one."
"wait which-" you got up, "old or new"
"there's two?" his jaw dropped
you blinked, "you live under a rock or something? yes- there's two."
"ah fuck" he scratched his head, "i swear there was just that one-"
"my opinion-" you stated, "the live-action is best"
tsukishima glared and you and crossed his arms, "tch okay~"
"what's with the sassiness?" you started to hold your laugh in, "it's just my opinion"
"a wrong one-" he mumbled
"hm?" you acted as if you didn't hear him
"no you're right" he lied, "everyone is entitled to their own opinion."
"something about this just makes me not want to believe you"
"i can't force you to change your mind" a fake smile was brought upon his face
"hm." you both said at the same time and kept watching the movie. he's so stubborn. why can't he just admit that i'm right?
- 𝘁𝘀𝘂𝗸𝗶'𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 -
kei started to glance over his shoulder to see y/n sitting on the edge of the couch now. with crossed arms. there's no way i'm admitting i'm wrong. not everything is about her- well it is, but still.
y/n got and left without looking in kei's direction. a door closed in the distance. "yeah i'm sleeping here tonight."

you woke up from your side of the bed and looked around the room. the window had been shut and the curtains were covering it. last time you remembered, the room wasn't like this before.
you overheard water running in the other room and you walked into the main bathroom. kei wasn't so big on affection, he showed you he loved you in other ways.
there he was. his knee on the ground while his hand reached the knob to make sure the water wasn't too hot or too cold. you stood by the doorframe and leaned against it.
the squeaky sound of the knob annoyed tsuki so much that he had ear plugs in. "ah fuck- that's burning" he winced and took his hand back from the water. after a few more tries, he finally got it at a cooling level.
when he stepped back he turned to see you already looking at him. "hmmm" you hummed
"what?" he shrugged, "it's for me"
"you like candles around your tub and romantic music in the back?" you questioned him. the alexa started playing different music and ended up picking, "careless whisper."
"um." he said, "i read online it's good for any stress"
"you're under stress, kei?" you asked him while putting your hair up
he stopped talking and just watched you get undressed for the bath. you stepped in and relaxed your arms on both sides. "you didn't answer my question"
"i got distracted" he rolled his eyes
he called out for alexa to stop the music and joined you in the tub. he was behind you just holding your hands and placing his chin softly by your neck. the bubbles and suds caught onto your skin and more on your upper body.
you both talked for a long you noticed that your fingers were starting to get, "old" from the water. he got out first and wrapped his body with a towel and placed another on his head, "come"
he helped you get out and cleaned up the suds leftover as you were getting a robe in the back of the bathroom door. "thank you for this" you said, fixing the tie on the rob
"i love you" he said, "that's why i do what i do for you"
"for us" he finished cleaning and stood up straight, "get the table ready, i ordered food too"
you tightly hugged him and he sighed out loud, "yeah yeah~"
"i love you kei" you looked up at him
"and i love you so much more" he kissed your forehead, "just as you are."
