"How you been?" Rell asked me as I set my phone up so he could see me
"I'm good. How you beennn?" I dragged
"I'm tired but I'm good pretty. What you doin this weekend?"
"I'll probably go home and spend some time with everyone. The vibe in this apartment been weird lately. I can't explain it, I just wanna get away and see if it'll be gone by the time I come home."
"You gon see yo ex while you there?"
"I don't plan on it but I have been seeing him. For dick, that's all."
"Shit I can give you that if you need it. I could tell he not hitting it right." He grinned
"Where'd you get that conclusion from?" I asked out of curiosity
"If he was you wouldnt be answering the phone when I call. You see something comin out of this and that's why you sticking around."
"I fuck with you but I can't promise you that me and you would ever end up together. I really love him and I really like you. "
"I respect it. You been honest with me from jump so I couldn't be mad if we don't end up together. I'm just letting it be known that I want that spot, but if I gotta be up friend I'm down with that too pretty."
I smiled as I nodded my head.
I knew I wasn't ready to jump in a new relationship. I still love Josiah and I still fuck with him. I'm not sure if that chapter is all the way closed yet so I'd be making false promises to Rell if I led him on so hard without being honest.
Rell is sweet, and he truly respects me and my feelings. He's down to earth and I can talk to him about any and everything and he always hears me through. I guess I'm torn.
I heard a knock on the front door. I stood since I was home alone "I gotta get that. I'll call you later, bye be safe."
"You too. Bye pretty." He smiled
I heard a few more knocks as I made my way to the door. I knew it was Josiah's impatient ass.
"What?" I asked as the door swung open
"That's how you greet yo nigga?" He mugged me
"We're just friends. I'm F-R-E-E FUCK NIGGA FREE!" I yelled out as I turned to head to my room
"Mhm. Ion know why you playin wit me. You know we forever." He smacked my ass causing me to suck my teeth as i climbed into my bed "Pack you a bag and let's go."
"Where we going?" I asked confused
"Nigga don't worry bout it. Let's go." He yawned cutting on my Xbox

"You must've did something, cause it's no way you did all this just because." I said looking around at the upscale hotel room he'd gotten that was decorated with flower petals and gifts all around the room
"Mannn you claim we broken up so I couldn't have cheated. I'm just trynna show you a nice weekend so I can get my bitch back. I know you been talking about a staycation."
"Awe boo you do be listening to me?" I joked
"Mannnn. Get dressed for dinner. I'll see you in a hour."
"Where you going?"
"Don't worry about allat. Just put on one of the dresses on the bed."

An hour later
"Come on we're gonna be late." Josiah said as he watched me flatten out my dress
"Beauty takes times." I fussed
He stood behind me and hugged my waist placing kissing my neck.
"I love you Shyanne."
I sighed and he sucked his teeth.
"You'n love me or sum?" He pulled back
"I do. Too much. I'm just tired of putting up with your shit but I'm still here I guess."
"I'm trynna change Envii."
"You better hurry up before somebody else take your spot." I said referring to Rell
"I'll make the next Nigga life hell. Youn gotta choice but to fuck with me." He said
We enjoyed the rest of our night. He took me to a nice upscale dinner , then we came back to the hotel and watched movies and relaxed.
