tonight only the moon is willing to listen to
her stories that have always been kept untold
about the times when her heart was filled with sunshine
and about how that same heart has turned so cold
in that burning silence her eyes begin to glisten
realising the fact that memories do grow old
one day this nostalgic feeling might be forgotten
when there are too many strings for her to hold
so she lets the gloomy night guide her to the light
