NEW YEAR PARTY:
Karan was roaming here and there, not understanding why he was missing Monami so much. He sat down on a chair and started to drink. Faizi came and sat near him: Itna miss kar rahe ho Monami ko?
Karan: hu...uh??
Faizi smirked: Itna miss kar rahe ho ?
Karan: Mein nahi kar raha hu Monami ko miss!
Faizi: Humne to Monami ka naam hi nahi liya.
Karan:....
Faizi: Abhi hamari baat par yakeen nahi hai. Humari nahi to Kam se kam apni feelings ko to deny mat karo.
Faizi expected a retaliation from him but this time he neither denied nor accepted. He was lost in his own thoughts and his dreamland where Monami was with him. He unknowingly smiled. Faizi was confused but sat silently beside him.
Suddenly Monami entered. Karan suddenly felt an unknown peace. He looked around for the source of peace and saw his Rani Sahiba. He felt calm. Faizi saw that and smiled.
Faizi: Karan..Karan?
Karan: I missed you Rani sahiba.
Faizi: Karan.
Karan immediately turned to him and said: I love her Faizi. I love her.
Faizi smiled with tears: Karan?
Karan had tears in his eyes: Ha Faizi. I love her a lot. Mein abhi usse itna miss kar raha tha tab mujhe realise hua ki mein uske bina nahi reh sakta. Karan nodded like a small kid. Faizi smiled because now he knows that there is a chance that the old Karan Shergill can be back.
As Karan was going towards Monami, she looked at him and smiled. His heart warmed. He so wanted to hug her tightly right now.
But suddenly someone came from behind and jumped on Monami.
Hey Mo!
Monami turned around and saw...(I know that every one knows the answer)........ Dr Aneesh Malhotra.
Monami: Aneeseeshh!

Monami laughed and hugged him.

But this communication was heard by Karan. He was feeling possessive seeing someone else flirting with his girl. At the moment when he saw Aneesh hugging Monami he felt insecure and scared. He was afraid that he will again be left alone in his darkness

Monami turned to him and saw him standing with a scared expression on his face. She was confused. She went to him and held his arms. After the rejection they both had accepted the fact and now were good friends. As soon as she touched him he felt safe. He smiled and said: Hey

Monami giggled and smiled: Tum bohot cute ho!

Monami laughed. Karan got lost in her. At that moment she seemed like the Most beautiful person in the world. Her heart was clean and her personality was pure. She was his Monami. He felt lucky to have her. He wanted to hug her tightly and drown himself in her arms. He knew his most safest place were her arms and he was now dying to be there. His chain of thoughts was broken when Sid came and jumped on Aneesh and hugged him. He brought Aneesh with him towards them.

On hearing this Karan's grip tightened around Monami's hand. Monami could feel that. Not wanting to sound rude he sadly left her hand and said: You can go Monami. Hum baad me baat karenge.
Without giving her time to react he left from there to control his tears.
Anees: Mo anything serious?
Monami: No Aneesh. I will just check on him and come.
Aneesh nodded and left .
Monami went towards Karan's room. Karan was in his room. He was laying on his bed and had buried his face in the pillow and started to cry.
Monami was shocked seeing this. She quickly went to him and said: Karan
Hearing her voice he immediately got up and trying to hide his tears quickly wiped them. Monami: Meine dekh liye . Ab batao kyu ro rahe the?

Monami smiled and sat with him on the bed. He put his head on her shoulder and she caressed his hair. Karan smiled.

Karan: Monami actually after much debate with myself, Today I found the answer for which I was searching for.

Karan: Bhaiya ke jaane ke baad aaj pehli baar safe feel kar raha hu. Mein din bhar aise hi unke saath rehta tha. Unke arms ki comfort mujhe aaj feel ho rahi hai Monami. Pehli baar. I am feeling secured and safe with you.

Karan looked at her affectionately and tightly hugged her waist. He hid himself in the hug. Monami kissed his forehead.

He took her hand and said: Ab mere paas hi rehna. Uske paas mat jana. Bhale hi uski shaadi hui ho!
Monami smiled: Yes sir
He chuckled. She linked her arms with him and walked to the party hall. He kept watching her. He prayed to God that she be with him every time of his life. He loved her more than his life
On reaching the hall he saw Faizi. He gave him a thumbsup.
Monami: Chalo na Karan dance karte hai pleaseeee.
Karan: ok..ok
Monami: Tum itni aasani se man gaye?
Karan kissed her forehead. Aapke liye kuch bhi.
Monami pulled his cheeks and said: tum bohot cute ho.
She pulled him on the dance floor. They started dancing. Everyone were in their own world. Suddenly he hugged her tightly and said: I love you so much Monami.
Monami: I love you too Karan.
Faizi watching the duo smiled seeing his best friend slowly coming back to normal. He prayed God that his happiness stay with him always.
Karan buried his face in her neck, silently crying and they remained in the same position.
They had found new love and promise to cherish it forever!
