of all your triumphs and regrets?

would you check your phone,
and send the texts you never sent?
if you had one moment left,
would you go outside to feel the sun,
before your world must end?
if you had one moment left,
would you fall apart and cry,
or hold yourself together,
in hopes to go with a clear mind?
if you had one moment left,
would you not care at all,
for that place in the sky,
has completely filled your thoughts?
Behind the Poem:
i honestly don't remember when i wrote this. i think it may have been a year ago? but i remember just sitting outside on my back porch and looking up at the purplish afternoon sky. i thought it was so beautiful, especially as the breeze would rustle through the trees. in the silence of the moment, emotions got to me. i started to ponder life, and what would i do if i knew today was my last day?
