"The weather is nice today isn't it?" Jungkook lifts his gaze up to see the sun shining over the sky. "Too bright."
You're fighting the urge to say, 'Just like you' don't say it. Goggle them up, say "It's nice" Instead. He nods at you. "Yep." Glances up at the hat you're wearing, smiles, "At least you got a pretty hat."
You touch your hat, "oh," blush, "Right, thanks." He hums, smiles, "looks good on you." Compliments and you think you misheard.
"Sorry–?" You ask and Jungkook finds few boxes laying down carelessly in the storage, put's them aside, "Yeah, almost everything looks good on you."
Dang, you're dreaming. Of course.
You're quiet, still loading it in your brain, Jungkook notices, stands up straight, chuckles, "What?" You're slowly blinking your eyes, "Don't tell me you didn't know you could pull off anything you wear."
He notices?
"D-do I?" You're eating half of your words up. Get your head straight!
Jungkook frowns, gives you a slight grin, "You're the prettiest girl from our campus." Shoot. Shoot. Shoot. Holy crap. Dead.
You're cheeks have turned red.
"It's a well known fact." He adds, "I don't see why you're even surprised." He gets busy piling up boxes and you're speechless. "R-right–uhm—should I help–" you're trying to help him with the boxes until he just palms your arm, "Hey-no—those are super dirty. Don't touch them." He lets you aside. "It's fine,"
Such embarrassment.
You're retracting your hand. Stand timidly and Jungkook stomps down the empty boxes. Glances at you, "You can help me with this." He calls you, "Gotta discard them." He says, "Last party here, we were too drunk to discard this stuff."
"Alright." You go forward and Jungkook hands you a box, "smash it woman." Laughs and you're laughing too, keep it underneath your feet and stomp it as it gets flattened.
"Ou," he sounds surprised, "You're good." Compliments. Again. You're about to faint.
"What's up with this ruckus." Lisa has entered, notices you two stomping down the empty boxes, "The drinks, everyone's waiting. I piled them up in three boxes, so shall we?"
Jungkook stiffly nods, keeps the flattened boxes apart from the full ones. Pushes the cardboards lying on your way so you don't stumble your way out and leaves to get the drinks.
You're squealing.
Jungkook folds his sleeves up till his arms, "Three boxes, okay." He tells, does some calculations, focused, too focused. You and Lisa share confused glances with each other.
He nudges his fingers under his chin, "You two..." he takes you two's attention, "...Come here."
Lisa scurries up to him and you join. "Pick two bottles each." He asks the two of you and you do as he says. A pair each of your carrying. He nods. "Okay, good." And piles the boxes up above another. All three. Lifts them up.
"Open the door for me, please."
He was carrying all the boxes by himself. Lisa hesitates, "Um, you sure?" She peeks in through the boxes, "You can barely see forward." Concerned is what you are too.
He laughs, "It's okay, just guide me out. These are heavy."
Lisa feels bad.
"Don't make me wait!" He almost yells while laughing and you're the one who bang open the door for him getting a cute thank you in return.
The smile has never stopped coming since then. Too good.
You guide Jungkook through the way in yatch and he follows you obediently and blindly. As soon as you reach Hobi catches you all first, "Finally!" He says and Jimin is the first one to notice you and Jungkook standing together.
Jungkook is thanking you of something and you're blushing brushing your hands away saying its no big deal. Oh his poor heart.
Lisa puts down the bottles and immediately takes one of the boxes from Jungkook, "Okay muscle man, give that to me now." She takes it from Jungkook and he's dumbfounded as he lets go, "Oh-oh okay."
But as soon as she takes it, Taehyung lifts it up in air like its barely heavy. "Who you tryna impress, it's heavy." He takes it away from Lisa and she's the one who's caught off guard now. "B-but—"
Taehyung shrugs, "What?"
"Give it to me." She takes it from his hands and he's speechless, "W-what are you trying to do?" This time Lisa moves away so he can't lift the box up.
Taehyung stands bewildered, "Why?"
"Don't want your hands to hurt." She bats her eyelashes and Taehyung scrunches his nose up, tries to take the box but she dodges it,
"Pretty sure you're being sarcastic." Taehyung comments and Lisa shakes her head in denial, "Nope, just saying your hands needs to be protected at all cost."
"Lord—you're ridiculous." He comes forward and Lisa stumbles back, "uh-uh." He is pissed now. "Why do you even care for God sake," he is now taking it as a challenge and Lisa is so not ready to give up.
"Why else, I love your hands."
And the bird's chirps were heard in the mid-silence.
Just as he was about to comment she's a pervert Lisa cuts him, "You're still an ass though." And the balance has been made. He sighs.
Lisa places the box on the table and dusts her hands, winning. Joins everyone at the table.
You are seated on the opposite end of the table, notice Jennie pass by as she greets you with a smile. Find Jimin at the end of the yacht fishing by himself. You get up and go to him.
Palm the railing of the yacht and let him know your presence, "Hey," lean forward and Jimin tilts his head, "Oh, good to see you." He jokes and you're laughing.
He just smiles. Notice his hands are clutched tight at the rod. Smile out of place. Something was off.
"So, did you get any fishes?" You try initiating a conversation. Jimin peers at the rod, shakes his head, "None."
"You're bad at this." You tsk, playfully and he nudges his lips in a gentle way, "Not my day maybe." You stare at him, feel bad, maybe things weren't good with Jennie. Was about to say something but Jimin breaks off the ice, "but you're here so about to have a good day."
Cheesy!
You giggle and he laughs with you.
"Do you know how to do fishing—" He asks mid laugh and you get humble real quick, chuckle, "Well, you can always teach me—"
"Perfect." There's that smile. The real one. He hands you the rod. "Hold it." You're blinking, "W-wait—already l?" He comes behind you, "Do not underestimate my teaching." Jimin helps your hand adjust to the rod. You giggle, "It tickles."
Butterflies. Jimin is im the epitome of butterflies.
"Can I catch a fish?" You ask, as Jimin cages your body from behind lifting your rod and positioning it far, "You will" he answered admiring your beautiful face that was just only a few inches away from him.
His tension grew each second whereas you were just repeating Jungkook's words in your head of complimenting you and you were smiling widely at your thoughts.
"You're such a good friend" You chimed at Jimin who was really trying his best to make you feel okay after that whole crying session.
"Thank you" he grins, and as you were about to say something Jimin's phone interrupted with a beeping sound notification.
