Hi guys, Sorry its so short but I felt that it had to stop it was the perfect end to a chapter. Last chapter was all about ethan and what happened to him. Chapter Twenty-One
Lorena Bobbitt, as soon as that name came out of his mouth I wanted to kill him on the spot because all of a sudden everything went quiet and then all of the men and even Luna that were in their hospital beds busted into laughter. Even Damien who was in a full body cast.
I wanted to strangle Tony but knew I couldn't otherwise Clara might just end up killing me instead of protectig me like she should. What was more sad was I had three out of my four protectors and thanks to that horible demon I would ever get to see what their symblos were because they were hidden underneath all my scars.
"Laugh it up guys laugh it up just remember who put most of you in those beds in the first place." I said seriously
All the men and Luna shut up after that including Tony. I was pretty sure he was affraid he would be next on my shit list because I saw him wince and then start to sqirm.
As I was about to get on his damn case for even telling that last part because I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I would be hearing the name Lorena Bobbitt a lot in my future when Ryan the dumb shit who didn't know when to keep his mouth shut spoke.
"Well I guess little miss perfect who says she doesn't want her mate actually does since you came to rescue him." He sneers
"The only reason that even happened was for once in my damn life my wolf took control and I was to damn tired after calling down the moon goddess to stop her. Sarah is the one who wants him not me." I stated looking at him with a glare.
"Oh and Ryan do us all a favor and stop worry about how I'm not doing my job as a mate since you out of all of us have shown how great you take care of your own." I said with an evil look in my eyes
I turned around to leave but before I did I saw the hurt in Ethan's eyes and then watched as it disappeared just as quickly as it showed. I looked out into the waiting room and saw Dylan there looking like shit since his best friend was in there but he refused to go in and see him. And I saw Clara and Terri holding each other as they siliently cried due to thier mates behavior.
And people wondered why I wanted nothing to do with mates. I had enough of it all, Luke and Michael had permently broke something inside me and even though Sarah said that our mates could fix it all I had to do was look around and see that mates weren't worth the trouble. All they did was break your heart over and over again.
I quickly turned back and walked silently to where Ryan was and knew he was going to like what I had to say but I had already gotten the ok from Terri to do this and I would do it with a smile on my face.
"One thing I forgot to mention to you Ryan." I spoke grabbing his injured leg and squeesing it.
Even though he had a cast on I could hear the cast break and him whimper from the pain. I looked at him with the evilest smile I could come up with for what I had to say next.
"You are here by banned from speaking, seeing, or even going near your son or mate. If they walk into a room you walk out. I will no longer allow you to cause them any more suffering just because the moon goddess declared you as Terri's mate." I spoke using my Alpha voice and it echoed through out not only this room but this side of the hospital.
I heard whimpers glowore and kind of felt bad forgeting what my Alpha voice could do to others and how far it reached but I refused to show any regret I had for hurting the others in my face.
"You. You. You can't. You can't do that" Ryan whispered
I leaned in real close so we were face to face. I saw the fear, the hurt, and the last the anger in his eyes. I understood the fear, I could be one scary bitch now, But it was the hurt and anger I wondered about.
"I just did and by the way it wasn't my idea it was Terri's." I said and then turned around and walked away and all I heard was the sound of Ryan's tears as he cried for the son and mate that he had just lost due to his selfishness.
As I was leaving the hospital that Damien, Ryan, Luna, and of course my mate Ethan I thought back on how this all started.
I was still sitting in the exact same spot when I heard Ariana complaing she was bored and Clara just sat there next to me not saying a word. I think we were both caught in our own little words untill all of a sudden not only did Clara tense but Ariana screamed.
"My children"
I looked quickly at Clara and she gave me a very clearly worried look on her face and I also saw fear. I didn't know if it was fear for what ever she found out or if it was fear of me.
"Hey um Damien" Clara started to speak when Ariana interupted her
"Elizabeth your mate Damien is killing him" She shouted
What walls were left fell down from her voice alone. As it was it hurt my ears almost to the point of causing them to bleed. Then what she said registered in my mind and in Sarah's.
"Hurry our mate is in trouble please we need to save him." Sarah shouted at me
"Why should I care I know Damien he wont kill Ethan." I spoke not sounding to sure of my answer though
Thats when all the pain and suffering he was going through hit me and then to my wolf. It was to much and Sarah demanded control so she could save our mate but I was to weak from calling the moon goddess down to be much of anyone's help.
"Elizabeth what should we do?" Asked Clara
It was a good question till all of a sudden I felt Sarah trying to take control over my body. The last time I alowed that she kicked some girls ass without asking questions. Hell my wolf was turning into me only difference was I didn't have romance on my brain.
"What the hell Sarah?" I asked her
"If you will not save what is ours then I will" She declared
That finally snapped me to my senses, if I let her take control she would be able to help him where I couldn't. I may not like or even love my mate but I did feel that the only person who should be kicking his ass was me. So I let Sarah win.
"Fine you win this one. Im too weak to do any help right now, go protect our mate but tell anyone I said this and wolf or not I will lock you away for ever. Is that clear." I spoke to Sarah
"I wont say a word I promise, thank you" Sarah said
I felt her graditude as she took control of my body. I kept my head though I wanted to remember everything later. I watched as Sarah grabbed Clara and spoke.
"We are leaving"
I felt my self leave the cottage and the next thing I knew we were at my uncle Damien's place and what I saw shocked me.
"I expect you to pay for the damages you just caused to my home you worthless mutt" Damien yelled.
There was Ethan laying not five inches from where we appeared unconsious and bleeding very badly. Both Sarah and I heard his heart beat slowing down and suddenly we bothe saw red.
"Clara take him to the hospital now." I ordered her in my Alpha tone
I not only felt Sarah but also my vampire rise and something else. I wanted to fear it because I didn'tknow what it was but it was coming from me and I wondered if we were too late and I was losing myself.
"No you are not turning evil its your demon part coming to aid us." Sarah spoke through angry tones
Once I heard that I calmed down a little and knew that the fact I felt better and let Sarah do what needed to be done.
"DAMIEN" Sarah yelled
If it wasnt for the fact he nearly killed my mate I would laugh because of the look on his face. He looked like he had just seen the devil and I saw pure fear on his face for the first time and it made me feel good.
"HOW DARE YOU LAY ONE SINGLE FINGER ON OUR MATE" Sarah yelled
Before Luna or Damine could speak we charged for at this moment, this single moment Sarah and I were one.
