CHAPTER 60: "panic outburst."
Y/n's POV.
It's been days since Ji-Yeong found out about my jobs, I feel a little guilty because Sae's been trying to hang out with me but I'm always so busy, and when I'm not,
I'm always asleep.
I miss her and she'll never know how much, it feels like it's been a month or two since I've last seen her.
"Y/n your phone's ringing," my coworker handed me my phone, aggressively and QUICKLY grabbing it as I thought it was Sae Byeok but it was just Ji-Yeong,
I can't believe she still hasn't given up on trying to pursue me to quit my job.
But she can't, I can't. This is for me and Sae if I really want to create a life with her, and yes I'm talking about ACTUALLY marrying her. To no surprise,
I don't care who will walk down the aisle but I want to stand with her near the altar telling each other our cliché vows making me all happy inside.
Yes,
I actually fucking want that.
It sounds like I'm rushing things but duh, what are we just going to be girlfriends for life? I mean that IS better than us being awkward like the past few weeks but I'm actually planning to be wit her in the future. Permanently.
I'm determined and SURE that this is THE person I wanna spend my entire life with.
And if you're in love, you just feel so sure of many things that you come up with the craziest most out of the picture situations. But hear me out, I love this girl. So fucking much.
And I wanna continue to love her until the impossible happens.
And maybe do other things in life, this is my second shot in it anyways.
"hello? Y/n!"
"oh hey, Ji...?"
"you zoned out, have you eaten ANYTHING yet?" she asked me through the call, I looked at my bag and saw my lunchbox that hasn't been touched.
Oh frick.
"yeah- yeah I already ate. How abou-"
"I know you're lying you fucking bitch, let's see each other later. The kids misses you- hey behave!- pwease Y/n!- kids don't grab the pho- see us later pwease!- Y/n you gotta come here later, I'll text you!" the call dropped which made me chuckle, Ji-Yeong's doing great with the babysitting and the kids loves her.
I happen to bump into them the other day and after that aside from Ji, the kids been trying to get me to come with them all the time. But sadly I'm not always available but I tend to make time to come see them for a short bit, just like later.
It's kinda unfair, how I'm making time for the kids... Even if it's just a little bit of time, yet I rarely even see Sae now because of me being all busy.
It's kinda difficult trying to be future oriented when you have a awkward/complicated relationship with someone who's as quiet as Sae Byeok, but it's worth it.
She's worth it.
She's probably misses me and all my glory-

I'm not sure if she misses me or not, I hope she does though...
I checked the time, looks like I have to go to that other job... Where I have wear a... Mascot...

I have to hand out balloons to kids, hey it's fun even if the costume can cause a person to get a heat stroke. I love seeing the kids jumping around,
"Hey, I'm out!" I pointed at the time at my exchange, grabbed my bag and went out.
I checked my phone again, hoping to see if she texted but all I got was Ji-Yeong's text.
I fucking miss you, Kang Sae Byeok!
And it's making me crazy!

Third Person's POV.
"Just don't tell her Ji-Yeong, OKAY???" Y/n kept telling Ji-Yeong not to tell Sae Byeok, but Ji-Yeong keeps on reminding Y/n that Sae Byeok wouldn't mind and only wants Y/n to be with her.
But Y/n refused, she couldn't stay still. She can't be someone who makes Sae Byeok's life harder, she wants to be someone who can support Sae Byeok no matter what.
"Y/n seriously, I know where you're coming from but you don't have to wear yourself out sister!" Ji-Yeong said while the other kids nodded, agreeing.
"see! Even the kids agree, you have to take a break Y/n..." the kids Ji-Yeong was baby sitting was also the kids Y/n gave balloons too and they all grew close, "I promise, I'll quit the job soon."
"you mean the other four jobs you have besides this? Y/n you're overworking yourself, you're really making me worry.." one of the kids with pigtails tugged Y/n's mascot's dress, "I dwon't wamt Y/n tired" the little girl pouted, Y/n only smiled at her and patted her head,
"I'll do what I can, okay? You see, Y/n has someone she loves... And what do you do when you love that person so much?"
"you-you do everything for them?"
Y/n smiled and nodded, "exactly."
"what's his name?" another kid asked her, Y/n and Ji-Yeong looked at each other. "well, HER name is actually Kang Sae Byeok." Y/n answered,
"her? Isn't that what they call girls? Don't princesses and princes- love each other?" a little girl asked her fiddling with her fingers, Y/n squatted down to the little girl's height, "well, in our story and other fairytales, people like us gets to love whoever they want. And Y/n loves another princess, and there's nothing wrong with that. Because love conquers all. Because love, is magic in itself, okay?" she told the little girl that smiled at her and nodded,
"come thru Y/n!" Ji-Yeong clapped chuckling at Y/n, "hey, it's better to let them know,"
"how about we call her after our shifts?" Ji-Yeong asked Y/n, "YES PLEASE CALL HER!- I... I mean yeah sure, call her, make her come. Whateves.." Y/n scratched her arms in embarrassment as the kids giggle at her.
Y/n suddenly received a text, telling her that she can come by tomorrow to give balloons to kids as she has her other coworker assigned for that job today, "oh, well good for me... I guess?"
Y/n changed back to her normal clothes, them bringing the kids back to their parents as they all met up.
And still, the two kept being awkward for whatever reason. Even Ji-Yeong is looking back at them while eating her fries with a confused face.
"aish, I'm full." Ji-Yeong took a deep breath, pouting at she set down a fry back to its plate, pushing it towards Sae Byeok and Y/n. "huh? But I thought you were hungry?" Y/n said, pushing the plate back to Ji-Yeong.
As if her and Sae Byeok were touching their food too.
"Well I was, but you two are dryer than the cheese powder itself. How am I suppose to enjoy what I'm eating if the two of you keep being awkward..." she whispered the last sentence,
"just.. Just continue eating, I'll.. I'll get some juice." Y/n stood up and went to the counter, Ji-Yeong the looked at Sae Byeok with wide eyes,
"DUDE! What was that about?!" she asked her, Sae Byeok shrugged, "I seriously don't know, we were fine like..."
"a few days ago? Yeah, yeah I see." Ji-Yeong butted in, suddenly grabbing a hand full of fries and shoving it in her mouth.
"so, Ji-Yeong.."
"hm?"
"when are you going to tell me about Y/n's jobs?" Sae Byeok's poker face and question made Ji-Yeong choke quickly grabbing her water bottle.
"jobs? What jo-"
"don't what jobs me Ji-Yeong, what the hell has Y/n been doing these days that I DON'T KNOW ABOUT." Sae Byeok sternly asked her making her eyes go wide,
"shehasfivejobscoffeeshopthenlaundryshopthen-" she took a deep breath
"librarythenhandingoutballoonstokids-"
"thenanonlinejob." she bursted out in panic,
"WHAT?"

Aw shit I missed this :(
Sorry I've took a century long break besties, like always I've gotten busy with my acads. Actually I'm preparing for an interview for this Tuesday, passing some schoolworks to the near end of the school year. The it's off to graduation, finally going to be a senior in high school!
Also, my dog died last April :( that's why it's been a little harder for me to actually do something or come up with some of my comedic lines in this story as I lost my serotonin booster :(
But now, I'm doing a little better. Still taking little baby steps, I hope you guys understand :) <33
I really, really missed you guys so much. I miss having the excitement of reading your comments whenever and wherever I am, writing, gushing over Hoyeon/Sae and just interacting with you all.
And I hope all of you are doing well despite all of us having silent little battles behind the screen, remember I'm always here for you and I'm willing to talk and listen to you whenever you need someone there to be with you. <33

It's too fun to even think about leaving this without a proper ending or goodbye, not just any ending but a happy ending some of them deserved in the show. <33
