She sang looking directly at him. He was sitting opposite her staring at her intensly . She sat on a bar stool singing and playing a guitar. She looked so beauitful that he couldn't take his eyes off. Her voice was a bliss too .
"Kaise hua, kaise hua
Tu itna zaroori kaise hua

She completed and he strolled closer to her . She kept the guitar aside keeping her hand on his forwarded one. He twirled her so that she was in his arms now
"Waise , What's the special occasion ? Why did you call me to my home early ? " She asked placing a kiss on his cheeks.
" You'll know " He said softly looking at her . He looked over her at something . She was turning too but he held her head stopping her and kissing her head. Still looking over her at pratik who was standing behind with party poppers and maasi who had cake in her hand
, he smiled and gestured them to switch on the lights. The lights switched on and a loud cheer of Happy Birthday to you ran through the house . She stoppd there speechless as pratik popped the poppers and Jessica and Omi helped maasi with the cake. He shook her a little but she remained numb. He shook her again this time his smile slowly disappearing .
" What happened ? did you not like the surprise ? " He asked afraid and she masked her expressions . " No , Ofcourse i liked it . Thankyou Sunny " She smiled but it didn't reach her eyes. Standing on her tip toes she dropped a kiss on his chin .
" Hello love birds , hogaya ho toh cake cut kare ? " Jessica interrupted him from asking her anything further. Teja cut the cake along with him and fed the first bite to Pratik . He smiled at both of them . She fed cake to him next and he did the same.
Teja sneaked into the balcony letting fresh air hit her. Her fake smile dropped as she sat on the edge of the railing . she raised her head to look at stars.
" Do you also believe people become stars when they die ? " She asked him soflty when she felt his presence
" I had a friend who told me that my mom and dad never left. They are in those stars looking at me " She said and then looked at him . Karan stared at her . She was neither crying nor was she smiling at the mention of her parents. Does she really controls her emotions so well ?
" He lied didn't he ? I grew up and learnt what exactly stars are. But i still keep looking at them just in case they are still watching me " He squeezed her hand as he felt the deep pain behind a line she said casually. She never showed but she did long for her parents
" You were upset because they are not here with you ? " He caressed her face with his knuckles taking her into his arms .
" I have never celebrated my birthday since they are gone . Only pratik's birthday is celebrated ."
" Why didn't you say anything outside then ? "
" You had put in so many efforts and jessica and omi did come for me , i didn't want to create a scene " She added
" Looks like the ice queen does have a heart afterall" She smiled at the joke . It had become an inside joke between them now. They both knew she was more than just a heartless bitch that he had thought of her at the first meet .

" Ahh , My head hurts" She groaned in pain .
" No, No no going back to sleep . Get up . I already gave you an hour extra sleep" He pulled her hand but she didn't budge. Sighing he pulled again but this time she pulled him to her. Falling beside her on the bed , He stared at her sleepy face
" Laddoo , Mera baby Uth ja na baba " He squished her cheeks by kissing them but she snuggled more into him wrapping him in her arms .
" You also sleep na sunny "
" We have to go bachha" He carressed her hair smiling
" Let's stay in. I want to cuddle you all day "
"sachhi?"
"Haa, Bhot pyaar arahi hai mujhe tujhpe" She mumbled and he smiled snuggling more closer .

TEJASSWI'S OFFICE
10:00 A.M
NEXT DAY
Teja's head snapped as her office door opened and a crowd of people burst in . She looked at all of them seriously not leaving her business face
"Surprise" They all shouted and her eyes got shut at the loud noice
" It sure as hell is , But mind telling me what's going on ? " She asked sternly and looked at Karan who was standing in the corner and looked at her curiously
" We all are here to help you " Jessica exclaimed and teja gave a horrified look
" I appreciate the thought but no thanks , I am fine " She gave a thin lined smile
" Great , So tell us where do we have to start from " Prince said excitedly and she shook her head at all of them
Standing up from her seat she glared at Karan who gave her a 'I am innocent look'
" You guys leaving would be a great help " She smiled sweetly and they all looked at each other's face. Yuvika whispered something in Yogita's ears to which she nodded.
" Tejasswi come one , We all know you have to give your time to your brother . You will need help while juggling both . Let us help you " Yogita added and Teja sighed pressing the bridge of her nose What in the world was happening
Rohit entered her cabin and was instantly served with her dangerous glare
" Tell me , what were you even doing before letting them all in without my permission ?" She scowled
" Well , i thought they are .. all your friends "
" Rohit do me a favour and shut your mind from thinking anything else from now on " She shouted in anger and everyone else tried to hide their laughter covering their mouths with hands .
" Oh good lord ! " She mumbled looking at all of their faces

" So that was all a misunderstanding ?" Yogita asked and he nodded
" What are you planning to do now ?" Prince asked and karan looked at him confused
" Huh ? Nothing .Am i supposed to do something ?" Prince and other looked at him im disbelief
" Ofcourse you idiot , Will you not try talking it out with her now that you know the trurth " Jessica slapped her forehead at the idiot he was
" Jess , how does it matter ? There was another reason we broke up , Just because this one was a misunderstanding, doesn't rule out the fact that she didn't trust me enough . " Karan sighed rubbing his face .
" Karan , you were anyway going to give up with your choice , wasn't that why you went to her in the first place , But returned when you saw her with that guy . But there was no other guy. Complete what you left four years ago. Go talk to her " Jessica patted his back
" No"
" Why ? Karan you- "
" Prince please, this isn't going to work out. She has so much burried inside her that she doesn't have place for me . Why go through that hurt again ? Why give it another chance when i know how it's going to turn out. Jessica i told with the way she was , our breakup was bound to happen anyway "
"Karan i understand you veere , but this is a big mistake. Not everyone gets a chance to get back with their love. You are getting a second chance , use it please . I have seen how miserable you have been without he, we all have . You also know you can't live without her , then why not ?" Prince tried to persuade him
"I may even try but what about her ? She hates me now okay ? She doesn't even want to see my face. She is waiting for this case to get over and get her own way . " He said in a resigned manner

"What the hell ? That guy was tejasswi's Brother ? "A man shouted at another man infront of him.
"You told me I'll get my profit share once i do what you said , but why would you make me hurt her brother ? She is my friend god dammit " He screamed angrily
"Can you stop screaming? The plan was not to kill her brother , it was just to divert her from the case , which we are successfull in , she is busy in taking care of her brother now . And second your work is done . You'll get your share -"
" I asked your father but he is still not ready to give me the share. I threatened him too that i will tell the truth to the media and tejasswi , and i am warning you too. Mer sab kuch toh tune pehle hi le liya tha , ab jo business bacha hai woh bhi lena chahta hai ? " He screamed in frusutration
" Shut up man ! I'll talk to dad " Other man said irritated . But there was also a spec of guilt in his voice
" Good " He turned to leave " Oh , and also inform me when you guys use my vehicle for your illegal work, atleast i'll save myself from getting involved in your dirty work and this case . "He spat and left .
