"Hi." He said in a hoarse voice.
"Were you sleeping?" She chuckles lightly.
"No, I just haven't really spoken. I've been watching Cobra Kai since I woke up." He smiled. "You're good."
"Thank you." She reaches for her LED lights controller and click on the blue button, the video instantly turns that color and Chris can see her face better. "Are you excited for LA?"
"Yeah." He shifts so his double chin isn't showing anymore. "I'm more excited to meet you if anything."
"Me too. I can't believe we've been talking for barely a month and we're..." She stops. "I trust you a lot." She says instead. "
"I trust you a lot too, you know? I didn't think you would be so much fun to talk to." He plays with his covers. "You look so... unreachable."
"I'm not, though." She frowns.
"Now I kind of know that." He smiles and looks at her. She stares back at him for a few seconds before turning away. "What?"
"You're eyes are really pretty." She almost mumbles.
"You're pretty." He blurts out, not knowing where all this confidence is coming from he says: "Beautiful, actually."
Sadie turns her face back to the camera and blinks slowly. She's thankful her LED lights doesn't let the blush that's creeping up her cheeks show.
"Are you always this sweet?" She asks him with a smile.
"Just for you."
The blonde girl is once again speechless, the butterflies in her stomach prevent her from saying anything. She wants to say something funny, but the only thing that comes out of her mouth is a choked "Chris".
"I need to go pack my bags." He announces, pleased with her reaction. She simply nods. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow, Mrs. Madden."
"Yeah... See you tomorrow. Goodnight, Chris."
