"You all go separately"
What? How are we supposed to complete whatever mission it is on our own in so little time?
All i had was a rusty key that opens merlin knows what? And hopefully not to something even more dangerous,
Ascian went in first giving me a wink before diving head first into the water,
I wasn't scared for him he would make it out even though sometimes his own remarks gets him in trouble he was a smart boy,
The other boy who was standing to my right was panicking, asking coach about "how the hell am i supposed to stay under the water for longer than 2 minutes?" I gathered that he was as cowardly as a no-mag from that question,
Ascian came back 7 minutes before the timer ran out, making him the first person to stay within the time limit,
"Jacob your next" said mason walking to the starting point,
So that was his name,
As he was walking to the ledge he was muttering nonsense to himself, i couldn't hear what he was saying but before he could even step into the water something happened to his nose, it was.. well gone,
He started chocking and sucking in air that didn't seem to make him calm down..jumping in the water at the start of the timer only to jump back up laughing and shouting, disappearing into the water and coming up 2 minutes before the timer ended,
Hmmm not bad for a coward,
"Yo Lara your up" I didn't bother correcting her because ever since the start she keeps using this name for me, and i didn't wanna give her the satisfaction of knowing it annoys me,
I held on to my key and waited for the timer to start, throwing myself into the cold water and muttered a charm,
A bubble came around my head and gave me the air i so desperately needed, opening my eyes i could now see clearly into the dark waters of the lake,
I swam as quickly as i could to the bottom of the lake, looking for signs of movement, now the task i knew about was to get my own Hippocampus, which was either red or blue, i placed my key under the material of my sleeve keeping it between my skin and the wetsuit,
Coming to the bottom i saw a bunch of small houses that were connected to each other, each house had a flaw, had it been a broken wall, a fallen door or a collapsed roof,
Wow did the Hippocampuses do this?
I turned my head towards a small sound that cane from behind me, making bubbles rise, i swam over to that noise and saw what looks like a couple of cells, inside each one was a..
A bloody Muskrill!
I never thought I'd see one in real life ,they were extinct how in salazar's name do they have three in here?!
They look very mesmerizing, all three in different colors, one which was a bright glowing white watching me with its light blue eyes,
Each one the size of an owl, and a glow that illuminated the space, i flouted over to a note i found laying by my name, it said:
The truth will set you free,
But first it will piss you off,
What is that supposed to mean?
"Kind child..please open this door..i will help you on your quest" a raspy voice sounded from behind me,
The three Muskrills were now swimming all around their cages desperately, looking at me like i was their savior,
Getting closer to them i could see a rusty lock on each of their doors,
The same note attached to each key lock,
One is a traitor
One is a coward
One is desperate
and only One will help
I don't have enough time to solve a riddle 10 minutes already passed and i only have 34 minutes left, maybe i should just open all of them and guess which one to follow,
No, that's very stupid i have to think this through, do i even need them?
I mean why else would they give me the key,
"Young women we can help you if you release us, we can point you to the right direction" a voice of an old lady came from the red Muskrill who was clinging to the bars of the far left cage,
"I don't have time for this get me out or you'll never find your hippocampus, you'll never succeed little girl" now said the blue Muskrill with a rough almost angry male voice,
At least now i know who is which,
"One of you can help me find what i want, and I'm honestly not feeling very generous to free all of you, so tell me. Why should i unlock any of your cages?" I held the key out in front of them barely in reach,
"All of us know the location of what you seek, it just depends on who's willing to tell" the feminine voice said, wavering as if on the verge of tears,
"She's lying she doesn't know where or what you're after she'll only lead you to your doom" the angry blue Muskrill spoke, almost shouting,
I swam over to the white one who seems so quiet for someone who's freedom rests in the hand of another,
"What about you? What do you have to offer? Or do you wish to stay in this god forsaken cell?" I asked him,
He only swam to the bars and said "no need to shout to make a point, besides these two are only making a foul out of themselves, the treasure you seek can be shown by one of us, or it can even be unknown to all of us, it's up to you to whether you value your time and prize"
"you seem so relaxed to be in this rotten cell maybe i should leave you here"
He only chuckled "oh believe me i always find a way out they can never keep me caged"
I stepped closer and yanked the lock from the cage, with it floating down to the bottom and the bars sliding open,
"Smart girl" it said and started to chant something which made a path of yellow glowing bubbles leading to a place hidden behind a forest of seaweed,
I swam as fast as i could following the bubbles and reached a clearing,
I swam to the middle where a silver chest the size that could fit a bludger inside of it, a golden lock was at the middle looking new and polished, i took out my key and it started glowing, matching the lock to become golden
I opened the box carefully with it producing a bunch of bubbles from the left air inside, i saw a red glow that surrounded an orb,
One look at it and a ripple of yellow glow flew around to the top of the lake,
It was the size of a golden snitch, with an almost oval shape,
I heard a growl from behind me so i took the orb and placed it in my sports bra to not loose it, i looked around and saw my target,
A red hippocampus,
Those are very rare, damn I'm lucky,
It started attacking, coming at incredible speed with its jaw open ready to snap at me,
I dodged last second and kept my eyes on it not loosing sight of it,
I need to catch it and go the finish line before the time is up!
"Come on!" I edged it making it come to me like an arrow throw the air, and it was difficult to fight a water creature in the water, making me slow and my movements heavy,
After many tries of it trying to bite me i grabbed its tail and heaved myself up to lay on it back, i wrapped my arms around its neck and kept a strong grip as it knocked into seven things to make me let go,
It flew over to the buildings and drove straight into a wall, i felt my leg scratch against something sharp and it started bleeding, and from the dark blue liquid floating around i noticed that it got injured too,
Rolling around the water i felt hot, not sexy hot, sick hot, the hippocampus started slowing down and i think it started to comply but my eyes burned,
I screamed and let go of the raging creature watching it squirm in the water like me out of pain, i saw the blurry sight of our blood seeping into each other, then darkness fell on me in the cold waters of the lake.

Waking up to something nudging me and feeling like i was flying, i opened my eyes and saw the hippocampus on top of me i smirked,
"That's right now you're mine"
I climbed to its back and it quickly swam us to the finish line where everyone was waiting,
"Three minutes from the timer good job Malfoy" but at the look of my hippocampus everyone becomes quiet with big surprised eyes,
"Didn't see that comin' Elena" Mason said walking up to me with one eyebrow raising,
I just smirked"Well better open your eyes well cause there's alot coming"
