It's been two weeks since Lena was admitted to the hospital. For bronchitis, she was able to resume
Chemo therapy once again. Dr. Sinclair her and Lena's Oncologist suggested Lena's best chance of survival is a bone marrow transplant from a non relative. They put Lena's name on top of the transplant list in all the surrounding hospitals in San Diego and Los Angeles area, one good came out of everything. Lena was able to be discharged at the end of week, and return home to her family
She would spend the rest of the week
Receiving her treatments. The doctors felt it was best for her to stay in the hospital, so she could be closely monitor. in case they run into problems, she'll do five rounds of chemotherapy for the whole week
She'll have a break on the following week. to rest up till the next cycle
The dietitian wants Lena to drink ensure as a meal replacement, because isn't able to keep any food down. Lena would get all nutrients minerals for the protein shake, plus it can help Lena put on some weight
She went from 142 down to 121 pounds. Lena has always been thin
Now she's extremely small, after spending practically five hours in the chemo infusion room. She was wheeled back into her room, she was nolonger in ICU anymore. The doctor will be sending her home with nebulizer in case she has another attack with her bronchitis, it's like having a asthma but different in some ways. Stef's been getting the house for when Lena's comes home on Friday
Nathaniel's been up visiting his daughter, so his daughter in law could have sometime to herself. Nathaniel knew how bad his daughter in law was struggling watching someone you love the most battle cancer can wear you down physically, mentally and emotionally. Lena didn't know much Stef was dealing with, Lena always ask her if she was ok. Stef's response were always, l'm not. Had not Lena gotten sick, they wouldn't be in the situation their end. It's to late for what ifs nobody's to blame, Lena's main goal is getting better and being home with her wife and kids. Chemo therapy took a lot of Lena, as she returned back to her room. Lena was in the bathroom puking her guts up, for forty five minutes. Once she was finished Lena brushed her teeth,

Because she was to weak to walk on her own, Lena was aching all over

She went fast to sleep. Nathaniel sat on the couch, doing work on his laptop. While Lena rested, Abigail
Went over to Stef and Lena's house to give Stef a hand with Braylon and Nyla, Nathaniel knew Stef wanted to get everything organized before Lena's comes home. They hired a part time nurse, to assist Lena with making sure she eats a proper meal
Take her vitals. Lena knows all about the changes being made on her behalf
to get Stef a break, so she doesn't have to do things on her own anymore.
