How They Met:
Alex met Pico at 11 years old.
At that time Kate wasn't in the same school as Alex and Pico

Pico ran as well.
He ran to get a gun to protect him and Alex.
Alex meant a lot to Pico.
Pico meant a lot to Alex.
Pico got Alex a gun as well.
They were both afraid to get hurt. They both meant a lot to each other.
So they wanted to make sure they didn't get hurt.
