"Do you believe they exist?" The brunette looked up to her mentor with a curious face to which she just smiled and patted her head as a response.
"To be honest, I don't know. I think they don't exist anymore and somehow faded away behind the scenes but sometimes, I feel..... like they're still out there.... somewhere."
"Far away?"
"Who knows...." the lady giggled before continuing... "they might be closer than you think."

HOMICIDE
Narrator's POV
"Are you surprised?" Ochako's eye twitched at the Shaitan's words and tried her best not to look back. She has to figure a way out of here...... 'should I try fighting her?' She was riled up in her thoughts if she should attack instead.
The light spears that she once escaped are now before and pointed towards her. Thinking about those and thinking about The Demon she just sighed. "Why not?" She elbowed the lady from behind which did not hurt but startled her.
The brunette dashed away jumping High in the air and maintaining her balance there for a few seconds just to get a glimpse of her surroundings. 'Her techniques don't really make sense but if I think about it.... it's just light and....' she thought about the last one for a while, was it disappearing or-
Soon enough the Shaitan appeared before her but Ochako expected it this time. She should just expect her to appear in the most unexpected places..... "she's fast..... is she that so that I can't see her? Speed?"
The demon sent a fist her way but Ochako swiftly dodged it, causing the wall behind her to take the impact. "My castle!" She yelled and ran the brunette's way who pulled out her Katana and slashed it at her but was evaded when it disappeared again.
"Teleportation?" She said out loud even while thinking about it, she kept her guard up and awaited anything that came her way... suddenly the light in the room had spread and as it itches closer to the brunette it hurt her skin.
"The hell?!" She backed away but jumped forward when she sensed the weapons arching their way up to her. It zoomed up close in different directions to which Ochako had to avoid by either quickly moving out the way or cutting through it herself. Though she could feel a presence, it was faint but it was there.
"I feel something......" still away from the light and still on the tip of her toes she slightly glanced up to ceiling but instead of looking at something normal what she found was the demon's face.... it's like her face became the ceiling itself.
Ochako fell to the ground and watched as the Shaitan's mouth arched up closer to her. Her teeth sharp and her tongue dripped with saliva like she was just waiting for this moment. Out of disgust, The brunette shone a bright light and was enveloped with the illumination of the room.
"4th technique! Absorption!" This techniques is used to take into you any elemental source in your surroundings and dispose them at your will. According To Midnights law there is ten techniques in her domino and the brunette being her student should have mastered all ten of them by now.
The thing with the light the brunette was surrounded with was that she transformed it into a natural one. She doesn't know what was up with it last time when it tried to burn her skin but she has control of it now. Pushing her hand into the bright stream of white she retracted and formed out of it a bow and arrow, she jumped up high enough to close a lot of distance between the Shaitan and herself. Aiming perfectly she shoots at it and as a result it shrieks and disappears from the ceiling but that's not the only thing that disappeared....
The brunette was now in another room that looked like a huge hall filled with treasure and gold, diamonds and rubies... so much so she found it difficult to even walk... This was way more than the last room, but where the hell is she?!
Her eyes glanced around the room looking for anything suspicious. "She changed the room.... does she have so much control over the building? Is she the house?.... or did she just teleport me?"
"Why not both!" She bolted out of the way as she heard the demons voice and pounced unto the nearby wall gaining full sight on where the demon was. Clenching tightly unto her weapons she dashed towards it and sliced her head in two but the Shaitan just laughed it off and disappeared again.
"Invisibility!" Wait What the hell?
"So you finally figured it out... i was starting to think you were stupid~" again the brunette couldn't tell where her voice was coming from, she kept her guard up but then it appeared behind her. Ochako turned around like she expected it to be there and pierced her sword into her chest.
"Wrong one!" The demon tried to grab a hold of the blade of the brunette's Katana but it sliced through her fingers letting the brunette herself go free. She then flipped around her and aimed for the demon's back but it disappeared again.
"Darn it!" Ochako fell to the treasure filled ground which was now swirling around in a circle. It's like the all the gold and relics were sinking into the floor and the brunette was sinking in it too with the rest of the gold. She glanced down at her wrists, all this while she's been fighting with extendable handcuffs.
"I have to get this off!" She tried biting through it but to no avail. She had to do something quick though... the floor was to thick to just jump off and the ceiling was far above her.
"You know I think I've heard about you~" the voice started to echo again and it was sinking into Ochako's mind.
"You are a skilled hunter...... you were...." the brunette furrowed her brows and her eyes darting around the entire room searching for a way to escape. All the gold had sunk into the ground and brunette was halfway through the top and a below that she doesn't know where leads to.
Suddenly the ground stopped and became normal once more, leaving Ochako there. She grunted as she tried to pull herself out of there but it was no use, she was stuck.
The demon just giggled again and this time more louder before continuing. "What a skilled Shaitan Hunter you were."
The brunette panted heavily and was losing focus, her vision became blurry but she still prepared herself for the worse as she looked around for the source of the voice. "You're a coward!" She yelled but was totally ignored by the demon or you could call her an evil spirit right about now.
"You were feared weren't you? Respected...." Ochako caught glance of her Katanas which were across the room far away from her.
"But now you're feared for a different reason.... because you took something that does not belong to you and hid it somewhere else."
"Do you know where the scroll is?! If so retrieve it right now!"
"No.... it was on my 'to do list' but then I remembered... what's the point of all of that if I have all this gold?!" She quieted down after that and Ochako could do nothing less than think....
"Nothing." The demon added with a taint of boredom in her tongue, her voice was as low as a whisper but somehow still audible and she then added. "You know what you are right? Whether you're ready to accept it or not ........... in the end you're just a low-life criminal." Finally the demon revealed herself and was now walking her way up to the brunette who was lost in thought.
'Criminal' this word rung in the brunette's ears multiple times. 'I'm a criminal.' She stared at the ground in a daze. Her eyes were dry and wide but her pupils were dark and all she could do was think as the Shaitan formed a light sword again, every step closed the gap in-between her and the brunette.
'No matter how hard I try..... I will be a criminal...... forever?'
The Shaitan who could read her thoughts just sighed. "Don't worry dear, when I'm done with you.... you won't have to feel the pain of guilt anymore."
"Guilt." The brunette let out before slowly narrowing her eyes and gritting her teeth, her despair turning into rage. "GUILT?!" Her words were loud enough to shake the area they were in and it startled the demon.
"There is no guilt because I did nothing! The only thing I actually feel guilty about..... is letting it out of my sight!" Her voice was menacing as a deep aura filled the vicinity. "How dare you call me a criminal when you yourself are doing things like this?! I'll make you pay as soon as I get out of here!!!" Her caramel eyes turning into bright magenta while the aura surrounded her. Her handcuffs shattered into pieces without her even knowing and the ground she was held up in began to rumble and break.
"Is she even human?" The Shaitan thought to herself in awe before shaking it off and lunging towards her, sword in hand and on the ready.
As soon as she was close enough and was about to strike... she was stopped.
A hand stopped her, the other hand patted the brunette on the head and this surprised Ochako, the demon was taken aback too. She glanced before herself and let out.... "Deku-Kun?" He was human for about two seconds before turning into a Shaitan.
His eyes grew narrow and his pupils became ember green, his hair became pitch black, still messy but longer... his skin changed to a more grey colour and the green Tattoo appeared on his left cheek. Nana, the kanji for seven.
"That's enough Hagakure." He said simply but his glare was deadly, the brunette could barely even believe he was there right now.
"What are you doing here?! Where's Lida?!"
"Shh...This does not require your voice, save it."
"The hell?"
"You brat! Have you forgotten the one who nurtured you when you needed it?!" She yelled frustrated.
"I didn't need it.... I didn't need you, you weren't there the time I needed help. The one's who nurtured me are dad and big brother." He shot a huge air-blast in her face which sent her flying. She collided with the wall at the far end and scowled at Deku.
"So that's how it's gonna be..... you did this to yourself." In a furry she lunges towards him in pure anger. Her fists enveloped in pure light alone as soon as it reaches it him the rays burn on his skin so he diverts the attack.
'Tohru Hagakure, the only Shaitan that is able to create her own kind of light and bend it to her will plus invisibility.' The once green haired male kept her skills noted at the back of his mind and now put full concentration on her. An attack smashed into the wall beside him and she disappeared again after that or should I say became invisible?
The black haired male smirked and looked around the room, judging by her personality and scent also her fighting style.... he turned around and kicked the wind out of the invisible Shaitan who immediately became visible after receiving the impact. She collided with the ground and looked like she got the lights knocked out of her. The female demon got up and gritted her teeth letting out a roar in his direction before sinking into the walls of the building and controlling the room.....
Before he knew it he and Ochako were enveloped in pure white and black. The ground was was dark but the sky was bright. There was no ceiling and now the palace walls were screaming.
As dark as the ground was the water beneath it could still be visible to the brunette. "Where the hell are we?!" She asks the male demon who looked back to her with a smile.
"This is what we call the inner temple. It's where we as the seven beasts can use our power without trouble, it's like our home because we rule completely in here." He explained and smirked before adding the fact that. "Some are just weaker than others."
"Leave me be Deku and what I attained!" Her voice ran deep through the walls and echoed all around practically shaking up the entire place.
"Ochako? No I found her first go get your own food."
"Eh?" The brunette was visibly stunned by this. What were they fighting for exactly?
"It's not fair! You always get all the good things while I get nothing! I wanna eat a successful Shaitan hunter too!" Suddenly she appeared out of nowhere and attacked the black haired male who blocked them all with a swipe of his hand.
He solidified the air around him and shot it at the female demon, piercing into her chest but that was not the only one as he threw a lot more and hit her in all the useless parts of her body apart from her heart and head.
She was pinned to the wall by all the heavy nails Deku threw at her and she grunted. "Is this how you treat your big sister?!"
"Whatever." Was his response, no they are not blood siblings but everyone in the seven beasts treats themselves as family...... kind of. He walked up closer to her and spoke. "I'm not eating her now.... at least not yet, we settled a deal."
"A deal....?" The Shaitan winced in pain noticing that she can't get free.
"What kind?"
"I help her find the scroll and she does a little something for me." He said before continuing. "If she's not able to fulfill my wish though, she becomes useless.... and then I eat her."
Tohru glared at him and the brunette was taken aback by what Deku had said. Their deal, it seems to be really important to the black haired male.
He raised his hand in the air and a whirlwind followed suit after sometime. Her inner temple shattered to pieces and they were back where they started. The throne room. Unfortunately the brunette was still stuck to the ground.
Ochako was stunned, you'd think that the power of the seven beasts were arranged in number but they were not, their powers are random and completely out of control.
"Leave!" He orders her, "if not... I'll take all your treasure." The female Shaitan broke at his words. "What?! No! It's mine! It's not fair." She wailed.
"Oh stop whining, you're lucky I'm not taking everything."
He pulled Ochako out from the 'rabbit hole' she was stuck in and threw over to her a sandbag.
"What am I gonna do with this?"
"We promised those kids twenty gold bars right? Let's give 'em thirty."
"What?! No! leave it alone! They're all Mine! THEY'RE MINE!!!"
"Shush we're not taking everything! You've gotta learn how to share." Deku chuckles.
"You're not gonna kill her?" The brunette asks him confused to which he responds by "Nah!" The female demon just glared at her as she said this.
"Demons are not allowed to kill each other. Though the seven beasts can escape that claim, I'd still like to follow the rules. I Don want karma."
"Whatever." She sighed.
.......
When they finished they were on the verge of leaving until Hagakure asked. "You're not going to untie me?!"
"Release yourself-
He was cut short when the blue haired male slammed the door open, panting as he did so because where they were staying was below the water surface and he had to swim for a while and fight a demon underwater before getting there..... without breathing.
He glanced around the room with soaked eyes and stopped when he caught glance of the male Shaitan. He was soo familiar.
"Deku?" He let out to which the black haired male sighed. "I need a break."
"No that's not it." His mind was twisted with a lot of thinking and then it hit him. He raised his sword to the black haired male who was already fed up enough.
"You're a Shaitan!!" He said in pure anger it looked like his eyes were set ablaze. He wasn't even concentrating on the fact that the Deku that was with him the entire day is a Shaitan but the fact that he remembered him. The sudden grudge he held to this one was more than any other.
Deku looked like the same demon that shattered his brother's life forever....
He really did look like the same the demon that shattered his brother's life forever.
