He woke up with a loud gasp as he gripped his chest tightly, trying to. Calm himself down
'a Dreaam.. It was just... A dream..' he whispered to himself, as inhaled and exhaled slowly
Someone then opening the door, the figure who welcomed him in this place, taufan.
"hey solar wake up we're gonna get breakfast soon so I suggest- hey you okay?" taufan's look changed from a cheerful one to a more worried
"i-im good.." solar replied, trying to act natural, which failed
Taufan only replied with a hum, which assured solar that taufan believed him, which is the opposite.
"well, wake-up and wash your face, it'll be nice if we eat breakfast together before some of us goes to school" taufan smiled
"school?" solar tilted his head in confusion
"oh yeah! Forgot about that.. First of all let me tell you about atok-"
"I know"
"how?"
"thorn told me some.. Stories about him" solar whispered, still feeling kinda uncomfortable from the previous incident
"ah! I'm not surprised, thorn loved that old man, we all do." taufan smiled widely as he chuckled
"so school is a place where we learn, there are multiple subject and yeah.. All that stuff" taufan chuckled
"we'll have to wait for atok to sign you up, which would take dayss" taufan informed, "you okay with us leaving u alone from time to time?" taufan asked, receiving a nod from the gray eyes boy as he smiled at him
As they left for school, solar was left alone in the house
He decided to head to the living room
As he went there, he saw a couple of books in the shelf, due to his curiosity he grab some of the books and place them onto the table
He was a little confused of some words he never heard of, but confusion turned into interest as he kept on reading
And he loved it
Few moments later
he finally finished the last page of the books, it was really interesting. too bad there wasn't anymore books he can read
He then decided to walked around the house, to get to know the place better.
He explored every inch of the place, room to room as his last destination was the back yard
There were a bunch of well grown plants on the left, a swing on the tree and some burnt down fences, it was probably blaze doings.
He suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder, as he flinched and light beam burst out of his eyes
He breathed heavily and looked down, looking at the certain water elemental crouching down
"I am so sorry! Really!" solar panicked as he took ice hand before helping him stand up
"careful" ice answered plainly, no expression remained in his face
Few moments later
Knock knock
"Hello? Anyone home?" Someone opened the door, it was ice
"Oh yeah, welcome home" solar greeted ice as he tilted his head expecting the others
"where are the others?" Solar asked, "They have extra activities to-do so they won't be home soon" Ice said as he puts his backpack on the couch
There was an awkward atmosphere around them, none of them choose to speak up
"uh..how was school?" Solar started a conversation
"not as-fun as you think, the teacher is a drag he's so annoying" Ice pouted, solar chuckled in his response
"any luck on your powers?" ice questioned
"hee-hee" Was all solar could say, as he soon realized he just burned down the backyard fence
A few moments later
"holy.. Shit.." Ice jaw drop as he saw the backyard, "this was all you--?" Ice crossed his arms giving solar a serious expression
"well, I thought I had full control.. Hehe" solar chuckled scratching his neck
"is any of your body parts injured" ice approaches solar holding his hand checking if there's any bruise
"I'm fine ice, what's the matter?" solar could see the worry expression plastered on ice's face
"to be honest, my eyes are kinda sore" solar said as he rub his eyes, "not to mention I lost half of the energy inside me" solar huffed
"you should go rest, you're not used to this kinds of things" Ice said grabbing solars hand to bring him to his room
"we'll settle this tomorrow" Ice suggested as he opens the door of solars room
"but for now, rest well" ice said as he left solar
Solar just sat on his bed, eyes staring blankly at the wall
'what just happened?' He exclaimed as he goes to slumber
The next day
Solars POV
"solar..wake up" the figure shook me
As I open my eyes, I saw Gempa
"wake up, I told you we were going to school today" Gempa stood up from my bed as he put my school uniform in the desk
"we'll be waiting down stairs" Gempa smiled at me as he left the room
I got up and go clean myself
After I got ready I went downstairs for breakfast, I could feel that ice kept on glancing at me but I tried to not think of it too far
End of solars POV
As they were walking to school, Ice scoot over and walked beside solar
"any luck on your powers?" ice whispered to solar, "not yet" solar sighed
"let's tell the others after school, we don't want to put much pressure on them" ice request receiving a nod from solar
After that they reached the school
Solar suddenly felt noxious, his stomach was feeling all wumbli it was so nerve-wracking
"come solar, I'll guide you to the principals office" Gempa said as they head to the principal's office where solar had received his schedule
Gempa took a peek on solars sheet
"ah.. You don't have any of our classes at Monday.." Gempa sighed in dissapointment
"it's okay Gempa, I'll be fine on my own" solar smiled, if he could be honest HES NOT OKAY WHAT WILL HE DO WITHOUT THEM?!
"humm.. I think one of my closest friends are in the same class a yours" Gempa said
"his name is fang, he had dark purple-ish hair." Gempa looked at solar with a unsatisfied look "he could be arrogant at times, so just ignore him" Gempa sighed making solar laugh
"it's okay, I don't mind! See you at lunch?" solar said tilting his head, "Yeah see you at lunch" Gempa nodded as they both went their seperate ways
The school was too big for solar, it's difficult for him to find his class
He got lost, it's almost 3 minutes left before class start and now his stranded in nowhere with no one
'great heavens' solar sighed as he ran searching for his class
As he reached his location, he was a minute late,he went in the classroom and all of the classmates were now staring at him
It was so awkward and scary for solar,and then someone tap his shoulder
As he looked back, turns out it was the teacher. 'phew'solar sighed in relief
"good morning students, we now have a new student that will be joining us this year! May you Introduce yourself?"
"ah.. Yes. You can call me solar! And uh-" solar became all noxious he didn't know what to say since they were all staring at him
"Welcome solar, you may take your sit over there" the teacher pointed at the empty chair near the window
Honestly solar was relieved for the teacher close call
As solar sat down, he opened the book while paying attention to the teacher
Solar find it amusing, studying isn't that bad as blaze said
As he was closing his book, he noticed someone was staring at him from a distance
He take a glance at the figure, he's actually the figure Gempa told him about
As we both made eye contact,he then suddenly left the classroom
"did I do something wrong?" solar questioned himself, he decided not to think about it too much
He stood up from his chair, heading to the canteen
He walk down the hallway and suddenly a girl was running towards him
They bump on each other and the books she carried suddenly fell down
Solars POV
"yaya are you okay!?" someone suddenly approaches the girl and help her up
"ah I'm sorry, let me help you" the girl offered her hand, I accepted it
The girl I bumped into wore pink hijab and her friend wearing a blue headband and blue glasses with 2 ponytail
I sighed roughly, I am so thirsty aaaa
Suddenly the girls widen they're eyes and grab the books and ran fastly leaving me alone
"what was that?" I shrugged my shoulders
'they probably have important stuff' I thought to myself , I can see they were the school council members because they wore the pin
Then again I continue my search to the canteen
As I was running around for 10 minutes, I FINALLY ARRIVE WOHOOOOOOOOO
I grab my tray and went over to the food section, after getting all my food I go look for my sit and I saw Gempa waving at me from a distance
And I saw the girl I bumped into and also the classmate earlier
I approached them, and thorn offered the sit beside me and I sat
The girls and the guy earlier gave me a terrified look, it was annoying me.. I didn't know what I did
"Is there something wrong bro?" blaze questioned fang, looks like I wasn't the one feeling the weird looks in they're face
"ah.. Nothing its just uhh" fang said nervously, "im sorry, did I do something wrong to you?" fang suddenly apologized to me
'wha?'
