Last night's kiss still lingering on his lips,
He searches for her in the crowd.
Among a dozen pairs of eyes, he tries to meet hers.
But in vain.
He sees no recognition in them.
No friendly look in her fox eyes.
Yet,he watches her.
Walking around in her shimmering dress.
Like a living goddess.
A goddess he could only worship.
As hours pass,his heart becomes heavier.
With a feeling he cannot interpret.
The fireworks blind his eyes,just like his thoughts.
Standing up and casting her a last glance;
He walks away.
Not wanting to look back.
For he does not want to be hers
Just behind the closed doors.
