「 How dare you glare at me with those ugly eyes! 」

Sabrina, the villainess raised her voice. in the middle of the Royal Ball. Everyone's eyes were looking at both of them. Helbert, her step brother heard her, but he just avoided Sabrina's fierce eyes.

「 You! 」

Slap!

Sabrina, who has a short temper, can't help but to slap him. Although he is her step brother, They didn't share the same blood. They aren't relatives at all yet he is her brother.

「 . . . 」

As if getting a hard slap wasn't enough, Helbert was still not looking at her nor apologizing. He was adding a fuel to a fire

「 You stupid curse prince should have just died in his mother's womb! 」

Helbert Dalet Raiven, as what in his name, he's the fourth son of the emperor but his mother was a maid in the Royal Palace, so he didn't get the position as a prince. He was the curse of the Royal Bloodline.

「 This ugly bastard is not listening to me at all. Hah! Birds with feathers really flock together! 」

Helbert gritted his teeth and clenched his fist. Then he kneels in front of her. Everyone seems to be gossiping at them.

'Just endure it.'

He had no choice but to do everything since everyone's eyes were looking at them.

「 My, my! What do we got here?」

After the sudden voice, everyone bowed their heads. It was the Queen together with her servants.

Sabrina, who was arrogant, was an exception. Sabrina stood still and didn't bow her waist.

「 I was lecturing someone who needs etiquette, your majesty. 」

Sabrina raised her hand then, flicking her fan covering half of her face.

「 I didn't invite you to this Royal Ball. What brings you here lady Sabrina? 」

The Queen asked her then she also opened her fan but she flicked it openly showing her disappointed face.

「 You said you're lecturing someone- 」

The Queen said then, she glanced at Helbert who was kneeling in front of Sabrina.

「 But it seems that you also need a lecture. Isn't that right? 」

The Queen pauses her right hand, then she closes her fan using her left hand.

「 Pardon me? What do you mean by that your majesty? 」

Sabrina puzzled, as she already knew that the Queen didn't seem to favor her.

「 Helbert isn't it? 」

The Queen Ignored Sabrina then she looked at Helbert again.

Y-yes it is, your majesty. 」

Helbert answered while kneeling in front of Sabrina.

The Queen walks closer to both of them.

「 A dirt person like you don't deserve to kneel on a concrete tile. 」

The Queen said proudly and with dignity.

Helbert forces himself to stand up even though he was wobbling because the pants he was wearing has a crystal garment that makes it painful to kneel. Which was of course already known by Sabrina.

「 Peas in a pod. 」

The Queen then raised her right hand and pointed her fan to Sabrina.

Beside Sabrina, There was a table full of champagne and wine glasses. Sabrina barges towards that table. She picks a glass then she comes closer to the Queen.

You know your majesty my Queen? 」

Sabrina, who was holding a glass of wine, tried to talk the Queen closer, but the Queen's attendant stopped her from coming close.

「 I also don't think you deserve to point your disgusting fan at me, my Queen. 」

Sabrina then raised her glass in front of the attendant and poured it to the servant's head.

「 My bad. My hand slipped just now~」

Sabrina shrugs then,

Crash!

She loosened her hand and dropped the glass resulting in it shattering on the tiles. Her arrogant behavior made the Queen displeased and annoyed.

「 Royal Guar- 」

The Queen was about to call the guards but Sabrina interrupted.

「 No need to call the Guard your majesty. 」

Sabrina curled the corner of her red lips and sneered.

「 As you can see, I also don't deserve to come into a cheap ball like this. 」

Sabrina the villainess walks away strongly. She's not scared at all.

She didn't even care about the gazes of aristocrats around her. As she steps away, everyone could notice the evil intention of her smile.

【 Indeed she was the true villainess. 】

◇◆◇

"Wow. This Sabrina girl must be the last villain to die in this story."

Samantha who was in her bed reading the book her friend Peter gave her can't stop the thrill and excitement of the story. Although Sabrina was a villain, she was rooting for her.

'She's too beautiful and fierce.'

"ugh. I can't stop simping this character. I can't even believe my friend created this story!"

She didn't actually believe the book that her friend gave her would be that good since the title was <Protect me, Kyle> the title gives her a cringe. Samantha thought she already knew the clichè but after she read half of it, It was very nice and unique.

"Not bad at all Peter!"

'Never judge a book by its title.' She believed not until-

Grooooowll....!

Her stomach suddenly rumbled. She realized just now that she was hungry after she heard her stomach rumble. She got up to her room and opened the cabinets but it was all empty. Not even a cup of noodles or canned goods can be found. She had no choice but to go to a convenience store and buy it for today's dinner and tomorrow's breakfast too.

She didn't let go of the book, she's still holding it even when she got out of her apartment. When she lifted her head, she could see the constellation of scorpio and the little dipper in the night sky.

There was a superstition in her country that when both of them can be seen together in the night sky, unfortunate things will come.

"Whatever. it's not like that was written in the bible." She murmured. She doesn't seem to believe in superstitions.

There were no trucks or vehicles in the street. It was peaceful and quiet so Samantha walked without any worry.

The traffic light was green after all.

While crossing, she picks up her hand, opens the book and flipped the page to 86.

「 Why can't you see what you are walking at? 」

"Huh?"

Samantha was surprised by the lines she read.

Beep!

A noise plucks in her ears and when she looks to her left side,

Beeepp bep beeeep!!

A rushing car can be seen together with its flashing car lights, and a beeping horn coming to her.

'No way, the traffic light was green!'

She vaguely remembered that the traffic light was green before she crossed the street. But when she took a glance at the traffic light again, there was none.

The traffic light doesn't seem to exist at all. She knew herself she wasn't hallucinating that time or perhaps she imagined the traffic light.

[ After 8 seconds, The gory accident happened. ]

Samantha was facing the night sky. There she saw the constellation again.

Indeed superstition can be true sometimes. Unfortunate things really did come to her that night.
