After you two had hugged for you bit he lightly drew your body to his he held you bridal style as he used his wings to lift the two of you off the bed, carrying you his way out of his room and back to yours.
"Your bed's for snuggling and mine is for the reason I'll be getting noise complaints." He said lowly and your brain short-circuited.
HOW!? How can he be so hot!? Oh- great heavens! I don't think I'll ever know the answer...
He entered your room and walked over to the bed, laying you down before crawling around to the other side and laying down behind you.
"See, I can be innocent too."
"Suuure~" You said with a small chuckle of disbelief.
"No, really!" He laughed as he cuddled into you. There was a moment of silence as you pondered something before speaking again. "Hey, Yin." He said softly.
"Hm?" You you hummed back.
"How do you feel about the idea of actually being my wife?" He asked gently, his voice suddenly sounding very vulnerable. "I know it was just meant to be play pretend, and it's pretty rushed. it's just... when you said that you liked the idea of taking my last name, It made me really happy."
Your heart immediately began to do summersaults in your chest as he continued to lay snuggled into you with his chest pushed plush against your back.
"I'm not just sayin this to try and get you to sleep with me either," He added, "I genuinely like you and I'd love it if you took my last name for a reason other than protective purposes."
"A... Are you sure?" You whispered.
"Yin," he whispered, cupped a hand to your cheek and gently turning your head to face him. "I've never been more sure in my life." He said in a soft yet serious tone. "Please. will you marry me?"
Suddenly Hawks got up and hopped off the bed kneeling on one knee beside it. You sat up and looked at him, confused, to which he tenderly reached out and took your hand.
You were speechless... This is NOT how you had expected your life to turn out. You never thought you'd be able to get within 100 feet of this man, let alone have him be proposing to you! This all had to be some elaborate dream.
"I never thought I'd be proposing to the girl of my dreams in my guest bedroom at the middle of the night while practically naked..." He dead panned under his breath, though purposefully loud enough for you to hear.
You laughed and saw a smile tug at the corners of his lips through the darkness.
"I'll ask you one more time, Yin. Would you make me the happiest man alive and be my wife?"
"Yes!" You said, beaming from ear to ear. You felt his body relax, his hand loosening it's hold on yours as he gave a relived smile.
"Man, that was way more stressful than I thought it'd be. I don't know what I would've done if you'd said no." He laughed, nervously scratching the back of his head with his free hand. "Once we get this alias name of yours processed, I'll go ahead and organize for a marriage certificate as well. I'm so sorry we won't be able to be properly married yet. But hey, maybe in the future when this whole situation is worked out, I'll be able to give you the wedding you deserve."
You nodded in the darkness and squeezed his hand.
"It's settled than." He said as he climbed back onto the bed. "Don't think this means we have to do... Uh... Stuff straight away. I've waited this long, I'm willing to wait a lifetime until you're ready."
"Thank you, Keigo." You said gratefully as you turned over and snuggled into him.
"I'ma have to get you a pretty ring now, just so it feels more official. I wanna spoil the hell out of you, and get every last thing a wonderful, beautiful, amazing wife like you deserves." He said as he ran his fingers through your hair.
"Gotta say, I think this is the longest you've gone without making a pass at me." You said cheekily.
"Oho! That could be changed in an instant. I've got a whole Library of Alexandria of dirty little things that I could say to you, better not tempt me."
You blushed and slightly averted your gaze.
"Even in the dark I can tell when you're blushing, baby bird." He said with a light chuckle as he maneuvered himself so his lips were right behind you ear, "Wanna hear what I have planned for you and that body of yours when we become official?~" He leered which a cheeky nip to your earlobe.
Immediately your hear was sprinting 100 miles per hour again and you squeaked, his gentle chuckle caressing your ear as you pulled away and rolled over to get away.
"Aw~ where are you goin, chicken? I just wanted to cuddle." He said with a slight whine as he grabbed your around the waist and pulled you back towards him. He kissed you gently on the soft exposed part of you neck and you relaxed into the sensation of his arms holding you close.
Just as you began dozing off into the feeling, you also became painfully aware of something hard rubbing against your backside and you froze, your breath catching in your throat.
Hawks knew exactly why you had frozen and chuckled mischievously, his breath brushing against your shoulder. "Well, I'll give you a hint. That's not a flashlight~" He said lowly with gravel in his tone.
You held back a shriek and the urge to fly out of the bed. Instead you took a deep breath, sat up like a vampire fresh from the coffin, got out of bed, and walked to the door. Not even bothering to close the door before sprinting down the hall while the beautiful sound of Hawk's laughter burst out behind you.
"Wait, baby I was just joking, come back!" He called after you, still with a slight laugh to his voice

The next morning you got up with Hawks. He had somehow managed to convince you to come back to bed with him and the two of you cuddled for a good portion of the night. He was a fairly deep sleeper, but at the same time, if you felt uncomfortable or were having a bad dream he'd wake up to adjust you into a comfortable position or to rouse you just enough to pull you from your nightmares.
"Want coffee, chicken?" He called from the kitchen. When you turned to look at him you were once again reminded of his gorgeous physique and the fact that he was wearing nothing but pajama pants, which were riding so low that you could clearly see the V-line responsible for continuously drawing your attention.
"Yes please." You said quietly as you chilled on the lounge, watching him work. He had his back to you as he stood at the stove cooking some scrabbled eggs with chicken bits and you took the opportunity to check him out from behind.
"Enjoying the view, babe?" He called over his shoulder and you looked away. "My feathers have felt that you've been lookin at me all morning." He said with a small smirk. You could hear that familiar cockiness in his voice as he spoke.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered that you're checking me out, but my back muscles aren't broad enough." He said as he stretched his wings out.
Wow... That's an amazing wingspan he's got there. You thought as your eyes traversed over his brilliant red feathers.
"What's your top speed, keigo?" You asked curiously
"Hmm~ Don't know to be honest. Been a while since I've measured it, but last I checked it was somewhere around three forty miles per hour?" He said casually.
"What?!" You said loudly in disbelief.
"Yeah," He chuckled, "Pretty fast. That was a few years ago though, I'm willing to bet I could keep up with a plane now."
"WHAT!?" You nearly screeched and he laughed.
"I'm not fast at everything though." He said as he turned around and portioned out the food.
"Oh?" You asked curiously. He walked around to where you were lying and leaned down, caging you in. "You'll understand what I mean when you're ready to let me get you between the sheets~" He said with a smirk and captured your lips with his, his tongue claiming yours before he pulled back.
"Hey, you're getting used to those kisses, chicken. Well done." He said cheekily as he stood up and walked back to the kitchen counter to pick up the plates, "Breakfast is ready!~" he added cheerfully and walked over to the table.
"You just laid there somewhat breathless wondering if it was possible to be impregnated by someone's voice.
OoOooh~ look at me being all seggsy and shite- now i'ma go grab breakfast and be all cute and innocent and- and- AHHH! Oh my lord- this boy and his flip floppin is too much! You wailed internally.
"Come on baby, wouldn't want your food to get cold!" He called, his attention now wholeheartedly consumed by breakfast.
