everyone deserves a standing ovation

when i die, i shall hear applause.
a standing ovation from all who have ever done me wrong.
from those girls that laughed at my appearance
and those boys that broke my heart,
unable to cease shining light on all my flaws
that weren't even real. they were only used to prolong
their own faltering happiness because
they didn't like their own appearances
and they had to mend their own broken hearts.
so when i die, i shall not hold a grudge.
their standing ovation will serve as apologies
and i will finally forgive and forget.
