Daniel Adam's POV:
After the blissful moment I had with Jenifer's parents, I flew to Milan along with Jen and Ezme with her parents permission because I want to proceed further in our relationship. That Damian, dared to try to own what's mine and I will show to this world that Jenifer is all mine.
"I am too excited about today!". I muttered to myself happily as I sat on the chair beside Sean in the dining table to have our breakfast.
"Someone seems so happy today!". Sean commented and poured a glass of milk for him.
"Yeah, maybe it's a big day for that particular someone". Mom teased and winked her eyes at me.
"Stop acting like you both didn't knew anything!". I said and shook my head at them.
"Of course, we know everything because there is no way you could hide things from us". Sean narrowed his eyes and I laughed at him.
"Things might change, Sean! Life changes after marriage and he might forget us!". My mom sulked and I slammed my head.
"Even if he forgets us, my sister will never do that, mom! So, let's ignore him". Sean said and I punched him on his arms.
"Stop it!". I scolded him and fixed my gaze on my mother. "Mom, nothing will change between us and you are supposed to be happy!". I frowned.
"I am happy, Daniel! I was just kidding. I can't wait to see you and Jenifer together on the aisle exchanging your wedding rings". She squealed happily.
"For that, you have to first let me introduce her to this world". I said and Sean patted my shoulder.
"I've arranged the press meet and you only got one hour! So, let's get going". He Informed and stood up for his chair.
"Yeah, let's go!". I stood up too and hugged my mom. "Love you, mom!". I kissed her goodbye and she happily send me off with a smile.
"Did you Informed Jenifer about this press meet?". Sean asked me as we sat inside our car.
"I didn't! I want it to be a surprise for her. But I informed her parents and Stacy". I replied him and he hummed. We drove to Jenifer's apartment and knocked at her door. Within a second, Stacy rushed and opened the door for us.
"Daniel? I was waiting for you. Come inside!". She beamed and pulled me inside by my wrist.
"Woah! What happened?". I asked her in confusion as I stumbled on my feet. "Slow down, Stacy! I am not gonna run away anywhere". I laughed and she made me walk to their living room. Sean followed us from behind and placed himself on the couch.
I saw Jenifer sitting on the couch with Ezme on her lap and grinning from ear to ear. "What's with that huge smile on your face, Jen?". Sean asked his sister and she smiled even more.
"Daniel, I taught Ezme something". Stacy squealed happily.
"You never teach good things and what you did this time?". Sean teased her and I laughed at his comment.
"You shut up!". She snapped at him and took her mobile from the back pocket and showed her mobile screen to Ezme. "Ezme, who is this?". She pointed her fingers at the screen and asked Ezme softly.
"Daniiiiiiiiii". Ezme screamed happily in her baby voice and my jaws dropped.
She is listening to Stacy?
"What is she saying?". Sean asked surprised and stood up from the couch. I blinked my eyes because this is the first time we are hearing her saying something apart from 'mama'.
"Sean! She is calling Daniel as Dani". Jen explained and my eyes widen.
"Is she saying my name? Seriously?". I asked in pure shock and am beyond happy now.
"Yeah, Daniel! Whenever she is seeing your picture in my mobile, she is saying 'Dani' ". Jen chirped and I kneed down infront of her.
"Ezme baby! Who am I?". I asked my daughter with so much love.
"Da...daniiiiiiiiii". She again screamed and starting wiggling her tiny hands in joy.
"Oh my God! I love you Ezme!". I kissed her cheeks because I didn't know that she would give me a nickname. No one have ever gave me any nicknames before.
"All credits goes to the great Stacy". Stacy praised herself and pulled one of her collar proudly.
"But what about my name? I also want to hear Ezme saying my name!". Sean sulked and I laughed at him. I took Ezme from Jen and sat beside her with our baby on my lap.
"Don't worry! I even taught her to say your name also". Stacy comforted him and he gave her a suspicious look.
"Can't believe in you". He uttered and crossed his arms.
"Trust me". She yelped and kneed before me and Ezme. "Baby, now say, who is this?". She pointed her one finger at Sean. Ezme looked at Sean and blinked her green eyes. I could see how eagerly he is waiting for her to say his name.
"Gumpy". Ezme uttered and I burst into laughter. I couldn't control it anymore after hearing Ezme too calling him grumphy in her adorable baby voice.
Jen hid face into my arms and smiled silently. Stacy starting clapping her hands and was laughing like a mad on the floor. Sean stood there and glaring at Stacy.
"You made my princess to believe that my name is Grumphy?". Sean yelled at her and she stopped laughing.
"But that's your name! Wasn't it?". She shrugged her shoulders.
"Spend some time with me alone and I will make you to scream my name. So that you won't mistake my name another time". He winked at her and Jenifer coughed to avoid his dirty comment. I threw a pillow at him and Ezme squealed as if I am playing with her uncle Sean.
"Idiot! Stop spoiling my innocent little Stacy". I scolded him and shook my head.
"She is the one who is spoiling Ezme! Just give me ten seconds with her and after that, she will never forget my name". He said shamelessly and took Ezme from my hands.
"I am not afraid of you, Grumphy! Whatever you will do to me, I will also do the same to you. I will also make you scream. Don't underestimate me". Stacy said angrily and Sean burst into laughter. I slammed my head and looked at my love. She shook her head and her whole face turned red because of her lusty brother and brainless best friend.
"I would be glad if you will return the favor, Miss. Nicole!. I won't complain even if you will make me scream because anyway, I am gonna enjoy every bit of it". Sean smirked and kissed Ezme's cheeks as if what he said was nothing.
"Wait? What are you talking about? What favour? And why would you enjoy?". Stacy questioned him innocently and I couldn't help but laugh at her naiveness.
Before that bastard could comment anything dirty again, I stood up from the couch and stopped him. "Enough, Sean! We are not having this conversation anymore". I warned him and he nodded his head with a smirk.
"You girls, go get ready. We are going out". I informed them.
"Where to, Daniel?". Jen asked me as she stood up from the couch.
"Surprise!". I winked and she frowned cutely.
"Am I also allowed to come or it's a couples date?". Stacy sulked and I pulled her cheeks softly.
"You sulking baby, you too are allowed to come". I told her and she immediately ran towards her room to get ready.
After an hour, they got ready and I drove us to the press meet that I've asked Sean to arrange earlier. As we reached there, I Informed my body guard to make Jenifer, Ezme and Stacy to sit in the front row near the stage. Sean stood beside the stage and gave the full media's attention to me. I went on the stage and the media started throwing questions at me.
"Mr. Adams, what's the reason for this sudden press meet?". One of the news channel asked me.
Jenifer Andez's POV:
I really have no idea about what I and Stacy are doing here. Daniel said, he is gonna take us out and I thought he might take us to some theme park or something like that. But to my surprise, he brought us to the press meet. Sitting in the front row, I looked at my man who is now standing on the stage proudly. He looks so powerful and intimidating. The aura that he is creating on the stage is breathtaking.
"Mr. Adams, what's the reason for this sudden press meet?". The media asked him and I was also waiting to hear his answer.
"Well, first of all, Good evening everyone! Thanks for coming. We are here because I wanted to announce something very important". He replied casually and my gaze was fixed on him until Stacy decided to disturb me.
"Jen, I think he is going to kick Sean out of his company! Mmmm...poor Grumphy!". She cooed in my ears and I nudged her arms.
"He would never do that". I whispered yelled at her.
"Mr, Adams, there is a rumour saying that you have some girl in your life?". Another question was shot at him and my eyes widen. Daniel smiled and his eyes fell on me. I could see that shine in his eyes and a smirk on his lips.
"Yeah, there is a girl in my life". He accepted and my jaws dropped to the ground.
"And who she is? Is she a model or an actress? Or any of your business partners legal heir?". They asked him and I felt embarrassed. I don't fall into any of these categories and it made me feel like he deserves someone better than I am.
He shook his head and smiled widely. "She is not any big model or an actress but she is the most beautiful women I've ever met in my life. She is not any legal heir of my business partners but she will be my life partner". He replied them and I tried hard not to faint. His words are so very comforting and I felt like rushing to the stage and kissing him.
"So you mean, she is anything but rich? The most eligible bachelor in this country is interested in some random girl?". One men in the crowd asked him sarcastically and Daniel just smiled at him.
"The most eligible bachelor in this country have fallen madly in love with the most beautiful soul he ever know and I think, I am more capable of taking care of my women. So there is no need for her to be rich. Only men like you who don't know how to make money will seek his women to be rich. But I am different. I will never choose money over the one I love". He snapped yet in a cool gesture and I smiled to myself feeling proud about my man.
"And who is she?". Another question raised. Daniel pointed his fingers at me and my world stopped rotating. All the people and the cameras turned towards me and started taking multiple shots. Ezme closed her eyes shut because of the flash that's itching the poor baby's eyes and I held her tightly into my arms.
"She is the one who stole my heart with a mere smile and with a small thank you. She is the one who made me to believe in love again. She is the one who bought the real me out whom I thought was dead years back. She is my love. My women. My Jenifer". He confessed happily and I froze.
"Holy Christ! Daniel is the best". Stacy whispered to me but I couldn't form any words.
Before the media people could round me, he stepped down from the stage and walked near me. His every steps made me lost myself as if he is trying to devour me with his piercing eyes. Slowly he kneed down infront of me and the entire hall went pin drop silent. The only sound I could hear is Ezme's giggles after seeing her father this close. He looked into my eyes and gave me a smile. I couldn't respond but stare at him. Slowly but sensually he brought his hand up to my face and brushed his thumb on my left cheeks gently. I shivered not only because of his touch but also because of the too much attention we are receiving.
"Jen!". He called me and his voice turned so very sexy suddenly. I couldn't help but only give him a nod. He smiled at my nervous state and brushed my hair strands off my face.
"Now everyone who has their eyes on you, will get to know that you are off limits because you are mine". He said and now I understood why he is doing this. He want Damian and his father to know that I've Daniel at my back.
"C'mon! Propose her already". Someone's from the crowd yelled and Daniel laughed. I lowered my head and bit my lips to stop myself from smiling.
"My love!". He called me again and I lifted my head up to meet his eyes. When I looked up, my eyes fell on a ring in his hands. "Will you be able to tolerate me till the end of our life?". He asked me or should I say he proposed me in his style.
"C'mon! Kiss him, you silly girl". Stacy nudged me and the people present there started laughing.
I smiled at him and gave him a nod. "I could tolerate you if you will be gentle with me". I teased him and the crowd screamed.
"Mr. Adams, this world now gotta know that you not only work hard but also fucks your girl hard". A women in her fifties commented and Daniel smiled at me.
"What to do? My girl is too hot to resist and she is all mine". He replied to that lady and slide in the ring in my finger and crashed his lips on mine. I kissed him back forgetting that we have people around us and recording us. The kiss turned more intense and passionate.
"Ahhh....daniiii....mama....". Ezme cried because she is now being squeezed in-between us and Daniel immediately pulled away after hearing her calling his name.
"I'm so so sorry baby. Did daddy squeezed you hard?". He gently rubbed her hands and legs to make sure she is fine. I looked at him with tears because he even forgot that she is Emily's daughter. He have completely accepted her with all his heart and giving her all the love she deserves.
"Daddy?". Someone raised a question from the media and Daniel took Ezme from my hands.
"Yes! We adopted her and her mother was our family. She is now our daughter, Ezme Emerald Fields". He introduced Ezme to this world as his daughter proudly.
"You are definitely an example to the younger generation Mr. Adams. So, when will be the countries biggest wedding?". They asked him curiously.
He smiled and pulled me up by my hand and made me stand beside him. I hugged his torso and he snaked his arms around my shoulders. "We will get married exactly on our daughter's first birthday which falls next month. And our wedding will be simple with only our family and close friends. I don't want it to turn as a country's biggest wedding". He informed and I smiled happily because I too like small family wedding.
"Congratulations in advance, Mr. Adams!". Everyone wished us good luck for our new beginning.
"Thanks to everyone". Daniel thanked them with a smile.
"The country's most eligible bachelor is no more a bachelor because he got stuck with this beautiful women and also already has a daughter!". Sean teased us and stood beside me.
"So, Mr. Peterson! When are you hooking up?". A young lady asked Sean curiously.
"Never! I don't do relationship thing. I am a type of guy who fucks during nights and disappear in the morning". He shrugged his shoulders and I hit him on his arms.
"But Mr. Peterson, it's a highly time for you to settle down". A senior reporter commented.
"Thanks but I don't wanna get myself stuck with any women. But I am happy for my friend Daniel because he could never find a girl better than my sister Jenifer". He said and kissed the side of my head.
"Looks like she means so much to you too, Mr. Peterson?". The media questioned curiously.
"She means the world to us". Both Daniel and Sean replied in unison and hugged me from both my sides. I felt more than special and bit my lips to control myself from crying infront of the media.
"That looks like a perfect family. But Mr. Peterson, you are the crush of most of the teenage girls in our country. So, what kind of girl would easily grab your attention?". This sudden question from the media made me look at Sean curiously because I am dying to know the answer. I also wanna know what his type is.
He smiled and slowly turned his head at Stacy. She blinked her eyes without knowing why he is looking at her and I couldn't help but burst into laughter. Daniel too joined me and started laughing and pulled me into his arms to cover me from the cameras. Stacy kept looking at us innocently and Sean smirked at her.
"Why is Miss. Jenifer started laughing suddenly?". Someone questioned and I muffled my laughter.
"She is laughing because she got my answer". Sean replied and still stealing a glance at Stacy.
"Geez! We are too eager to know your type, Mr. Peterson!". Few girls screamed from the crowd.
"I can't let you all know about my taste in women but I can say only one thing. There might be many girls who's crushing on me but my eyes fell on someone recently. She is the only one I am crushing on and she is so precious to me. Probably, I'll never meet a girl like her ever again in my life because she is a rare piece. She is the real meaning of innocence and feisty. And also she is the only women who has the guts to threaten me with her tiny fingers pointing at me. She is just....... more than adorable". Sean confessed and his eyes were fixed on Stacy the entire time. His smile looked genuine and my dump mind couldn't figure out anything.
"We would be glad to know her name, Mr. Peterson". An old women asked him.
"She will kill me if I tell her name. Told you that she is feisty, right?". Sean replied and Daniel laughed hard. Stacy kept looking at us and I really felt happy for her because somehow she owns a special place in Sean's heart.
"When time is right, I will give you all the details. Until then, I will leave it to your imagination". Sean smirked and the media person's frowned.
"Whatever! It's time to wrap up this press meet. Thanks for coming and we will take your leave". Daniel bid goodbye to everyone and walked I and Stacy to his car.
Sean and Stacy sat on the front whereas I and Daniel sat at the back seat with Ezme sleeping in her father's arms. "Who's that girl you were talking about?". Stacy questioned without looking at any of us particularly.
"Whom are you talking to, Miss. Nicole?". Sean teased her even though he knows that she is referring to him.
She turned her head and glared at him. "I am asking you only, Mr. Grumphy! Who is your crush?". She asked angrily.
Sean laughed and tapped his fingers on the steering wheel. "Why should I tell you and why do you care?". He stated the facts.
She averted her eyes from his face and looked outside of the window. "Just curious!". She replied casually and I doubted that.
"Really?". Sean asked her as if he didn't buy her answer.
"Yeah! And also I feel pity for that girl because you are eying on her. You might make her fall for you and ruin her life". She blurted and I slammed my head.
"Firstly, I don't want anyone to fall for me because I don't believe in love and forever. Secondly, I will never ruin her life because she means so much to me. I respect her and care for her. So, I will never do anything that will hurt her". He replied sternly and I felt like kicking Stacy out of the car for spoiling the mood.
"Oh! You are always rude with me but with that girl, you are so sweet and caring. She must be the luckiest girl on this universe". She blurted and I slammed my head. It's clear that she is jealous of that girl even without knowing that she is the one Sean is talking about.
"You are maybe right, Miss. Nicole! But I don't know whether I am lucky!". Sean spoke and his voice came out low. I wish, I knew what's running in his mind.
With a sigh, Sean dropped us at our apartment and Stacy stepped out of the car after bidding goodbye to Daniel. She didn't even say a word to Sean and I felt bad for him. "Goodnight, Jen and also convey my greetings to that dump Stacy". Sean said and I kissed his cheeks by leaning into the front from behind.
"Goodnight, Sean! And thanks for giving special place for Stacy in your heart". I said wholeheartedly.
"She earned it and please don't let her know about this". He requested and I laughed at his fear for Stacy.
When I averted my eyes from Sean, I felt Daniel starring at me blankly. I looked at him and he smiled. "Why are you looking at me like that?". I asked him confused.
"Because I love you and I can't wait to call you my wife!". He said and laid his head on my shoulders.
This small gesture of him is enough for me to give my everything to him, as if I didn't give myself to him already. "Mr. Adams, we still have one month for our wedding". I kissed the side of his head and he frowned.
"Can't we celebrate Ezme's birthday early and get married as soon as possible?". He whined like a baby and cupped my cheeks to kiss my lips. But before he could succeed, Sean screamed from the front.
"You shameless create! I know you are in love with my sister, but you can't make out with her when am in the car with you!". He scolded him and Daniel kicked his car seat from behind.
Suppressing my laughter, I stopped Daniel from lunging into Sean. "Goodnight, Daniel". I took Ezme from his hand and pecked his lips softly.
He took a heavy breath and hand overed Ezme to me." Goodnight, my love and my princess!". He kissed I and Ezme in our cheeks and I stepped out of the car with Ezme in my arms. I will never forget this day because he introduced me to this entire world without thinking twice and I felt loved and lucky. Daniel is the kind of man every girl dreams about and how lucky I am to have him all to myself!
