<Belladonna POV>
I have been living in Volterra with my mates for a week now and I am loving it! I am allowed to wear trousers sometimes too! We came to the agreement that I could wear my usual attire when we don't have visitors but I have to wear dresses when we do. It helps when feeding...
Anyway, today is my coronation as vampire queen so I was in an elegant black full length ballgown with black velvet heels and black diamond earrings in my ear piercings and white diamond in my other piercings (My eyebrow, lip and nose). I was to get my crown and Volturi necklace today so I curled my hair in a way it would still look good with the crown and did light, nude makeup.
I was escorted down to the entrance hall in front of the door I needed to enter through by Jane and Alec - who I had gotten rather close to and consider them family (I'll ask Marcus later what type of bond we share later). Once down there I met the Cullens (including Bells and Ren) who wished me luck before going to their seats. Soon I heard music start inside and the doors opened to reveal me.
I began to walk down the isle towards my mates (hopefully not for the last time) and knelt in front of them when I got there. They smiled at me before handing me a long golden rod and a golden ball to hold. They had their crowns on which was slightly different to mine where mine was to have sapphires theirs had rubies.
"Belladonna Mayflower. You kneel before us today to pledge your allegiance to the vampire community as their queen. Do you come here free of any manipulation or compulsion?" Aro spoke.
"I do so come." I replied a small smile threatening to break onto my face.
Caius smiled, "Do you solemnly swear to govern the peoples of Volterra and the vampire community with justice and mercy as long as you shall reign?" He asked
"I do so solemnly swear." I pledged and my crown was placed on my head and the necklace around my neck.
Marcus spoke next, "Then it is our joy and honour to bless our new queen. All hail Queen Belladonna!" He finished with standing me up and turning me around to face everyone who has come to watch my coronation.
"All hail, Queen Belladonna." Everyone repeated clapping. Then I looked towards the back of the room where the Cullens were stood to see Bells full on cheering for me.
"Yes! That's my best friend right there! Queen Donna for the win!!" She was shouting, I giggled at her as me and my mates sat on our thrones in front of the assembly.
