it's been a while since you told me that you'll help me. i joked you thru voice call that you can't even draw a simple flower, and then you confessed that you also tried learning how to paint. idk why, but you did and now, you're here, helping me to get thru my stuff :)

despite being shocked, i listened to your suggestions. you said it's better to paint outdoors bc it will give more ideas and motivation. so we did a plein air painting.

the first one was beside random flowers outside a small farm we accidentally passed by. we got bit by ants multiple times, ran when a bee appeared, and even stomped on a cow's shit.

the second one was on a small lake. i remember you fell a couple of times while setting up, and ran after a frog to stop it from scaring me. the way you looked at me behind your shoulders, convincing me that it wasn't a problem bc you got it, cracks me up every time.

the third one, prolly my fav, was on a roadside. we laughed with other artists, shared a talk, and got a couple of advice.

it took us 30mins to set up here bc you told me this house is haunted. you spent the 15mins trying to get me out of the car and i spent another 15mins cursing you.

you laughed the whole time we were here bc my hands were shaking while i painted. i plead with you many times not to continue bc the place reminded me of jeepers creepers.

you traumatized me with this one. i saw you pee behind a tree!!! you freak!!! i couldn't seriously take a photo bc of laughter. i kept teasing you, "papaliitin ng duwende 'yan" and then you spent the rest of the night searching for ways to fight the dwarfs.

and lastly, by the beach. we spent hours driving just to go here. you were so tired but insisted to push thru it. we endured the scorching heat of the sun while listening to the waves.

you were always there. tired & exhausted, but you never did once complain - even when coffee seemed like water to us. i know how you hate coffee even if you kept trying your best to hide that fact.
