Gojo

Megumi had just left to go deal with the Sukuna finger at a nearby high school, when I got called. I groaned in annoyance, and that groan may or may not have escalated into a very calm yell.
"UhhhhhhhhhhhggaaaAAAAAAAAHHHHH"

I trudged in, half listened to the orders and trudged back out. Something about one of the stronger clans having a crazy flower growth that isn't natural. If they're such a strong jujutsu clan, why can't they deal with it themselves?
I waited around an hour or so and then finally took off to get there. I looked around and, well, this is a really big overgrowth going on. The grass is like three feet tall (around 1 meter) and there are massive flowers with teeth whose height I don't even feel like figuring out.
After a minute or two a woman came out, and stood in front of me.
"Satoru-San, I hate to be a bother but we've got the flowers handled. We just needed you to find my son. He's the one who caused this, and it was likely just to spite us." She said, shooting a glare at the plants.
"You're Joo Kaen, right? I thought your clan had flame based cursed techniques except your legendary ancestor whats his name?" I questioned.
"We do. That's why I suspect it to be spite. He was supposed to create his first cursed technique today for a growing of age ceremony, and he goes and does this before disappearing." She explained.
"Huh. Well I don't really care about the familial problems, just consider him found." I told her.
"Thank you, sincerely. I wish I could give you a clue as to where he is." She said, sighing.
"Don't worry about it, I know where he is." I told her.
"What? How?" She asked.
"Six eyes. His cursed energy is way different from the rest of your clan due to his differing technique." I explained.
"Oh, I see. Well please bring him home safe. He probably thinks we're going to punish him, but we just want him back. Honestly, the only reason he escaped was because everyone thought his technique was so cool they were mesmerized." She said.
"Uh-huh, yeah."
"You didn't listen to word I said just now, did you?" She asked.
"Of course, yeah." I responded, with a nod of fake interest.
She sighed and I walked towards the kid's cursed energy. I found myself standing in front of a forest, with his cursed energy residing about ten feet away from me. I walked in and after a second I found him.
A teen boy sitting in a clearing, surrounded by plants that didn't match the environment. A vine wrapped around his wrist and pulled him to his feet, and he turned towards me.
"They sent you here to find a kid? Is there really no other sorcerers? Why send the strongest to find some kid?" He questioned.
"I dunno, can we hurry up? I was watching a really good movie before I was called out here." I said.
"Yeah sure. If they plan on doing something to me, better now than later." He said.
"Nice optimism, let's go." I said before leading him out of the forest.
We got back to his family and the teen seemed way less than pleased to be back. They started giving him some lame ass lecture before they grinned seeing I'm still here and pushed him over to me with a confused look on his face.
"Excuse me Mr. Gojo you recently adopted the Fushiguro or Zenin kid didn't you? Well having a single child will make him depressed and antisocial according to studies so we're offering you Y/n! He doesn't want to be here, and causes us more issues than anything else due to his weird cursed technique. We'd be honored if you take him." The boy's mother said to me causing me to raise an eyebrow.
"As long as you don't regret it after Mr. Make a forest over here becomes a special grade. He definitely has the potential to. I'd say he's either similar to or stronger than my adopted kid." I said with a shrug and they continued grinning expectantly at me.
The kid sighed, rolled his eyes, and stepped up. "I don't think they much care since my thing isn't throwing flames around. I'm Y/n L/n, nice to meet you Mr. Gojo." The kid introduced and stuck his hand out. I smirked and shook his hand. "You're a polite kid and pretty knowledgeable to know about me at that age. Why do they want you gone so badly?" I asked him.
"Because my cursed technique isn't related to my clans at all. Like as unrelated as it gets." He explained with a sigh. "Well kid, today's your lucky day. You're being raised by the strongest from now on!" I said and the kid lazily raised his arms in celebration and gave an unenthusiastic 'yippee.'
I showed the kid around Tokyo until we arrived at my home and I saw Megumi looking at us through the window, wondering if it was another attempt at operation: making friends. Luckily for him, it isn't, but unluckily he's not getting a friend, he's getting a brother.
I led the kid inside and got Megumi to sit in the living room with him so the kid could introduce himself. I sat looking interested while Megumi sat looking like he had to be there. Which he kinda does because I told him to.
"Uh, so how does you adopting me work? Does it make me a Gojo or am I still a L/n?" The kid asked me with a raised eyebrow causing me to stroke my chin and hum. "I'd say you can keep your last name like Mr. Fushiguro over there but you don't have any emotional attachment so do what makes you happy." I explained to the kid with a shrug.
"Uh, okay then. I'm Y/n Gojo and how old are you Fushiguro?" He introduced and asked. "I'm like 8, close in age to you." Megumi answered. "Same age as me, what are the odds?" Y/n said before glancing off at a wall. Strange.
"I'm Satoru Gojo and he's Megumi Fushiguro. My cursed technique is Limitless and his is the ten shadows technique. How about you, flower power?" I asked him causing him to sigh and look at the air trying to work out a good way to explain.
"Okay let's see. Gojo you've told me you're a teacher before, so do you know what quantum immortality is?" He asked me bringing me utter confusion. "I'm sorry do I know what, WHAT is? So you can't die?" I asked him confused. "Maybe, we'll see way later on down the line. It's essentially the theory that right before you die your consciousness transfers to another version of yourself who either survives that event or doesn't come across it at all. What my technique does is essentially makes it no longer a theory and it works slightly different. Give me a hypothetical where I'm about to die Gojo." He said to me sitting cross legged on the floor.
"So let's say you get stabbed by a cursed spirit, then what?" I asked him genuinely curious. "Then I would die. As in the me who's got my consciousness in him right now. He'd die, and a different version of myself would be brought here and he'd get my consciousness. So basically I'd be standing right there, in better health than I even was before still capable of fighting with a corpse of myself right behind me." He explained getting a look of amazement from me and Megumi.
"That's awesome! What side effect of your technique made the forest grow around you and how'd you find that out?" I asked him earning a chuckle. "Well to the first one, the side effect is the only side effect. Not every version of everybody is the same. So let's say you have infinity here. There's another you out there with Megumi's ten shadows technique. Well when I found out how my technique works I was switched with a version of myself that controls plant life." Y/n explained getting an AHHHHHHHHHHHH in, well kind of, understanding from me while Megumi looked in astonishment.

Timeskip by SEVERAL years or however you quantify a decade (just for the sake of my own sanity everyone is 18 and jujutsu high is less of a high and more of a jujutsu college. Yes it makes Mei Mei less bad of a person but still not good.)

Fushiguro and I are at Jujutsu High having to spar and thankfully for me I haven't died anymore than the one time so I dunno if it's a one time ability or not. Also my mastery of my plant based technique is almost as skilled as it gets. Which is a saving grace for me because otherwise Megumi's ten shadows would be kicking my ass.
I've only got four more things to worry about at least, well, realistically it's more like three but maybe losing in sparring is the reason to drop Mahoraga on me he's been waiting for.
I was hiding under an essentially dam made of tree roots and grass to give me time to plan. Demon dogs I maybe could've handled, but I've got no workarounds for Nue. Well I have one but I have to hope Megumi's mobility curse decides to stop being mobile.
I huffed to myself and dropped the wall before dashing over behind a tree avoiding getting swooped down on narrowly. Let's see, so he's a bird. And either he traps himself in an area with a ton of trees which eliminates his flight, or he flies around looking and waiting for me.
I sat under the tree waiting until I saw it fly past and put my hands against the tree causing a branch to shoot out and impale the bird making it disappear. Seven shadows down, hopefully two to go.
"Divine Dogs!" I heard Megumi exclaim and took a deep breath before coming out and seeing Megumi taking a stance between the two dogs. I planted my hands on the ground and a pair roots wrapped around the white one. I watched as the other one dashed towards me and slid under the attack, running ran up to Megumi.
I grabbed him by the shirt and put my hand on the roots next to him for a bargaining chip. "Give up Megumi. Your 5-1 record against me isn't as good as 6-0 but it's still great. Surely you can give up ONE win to your brother, right?" I ask him earning a sigh and eye roll.
"Whatever. I concede, you officially have a one in six chance at victory. Good job bro." Megumi grumbled and I threw my hands up in victory, letting out an excited whoop.
