The scene starts in white, the transitions to show Arc and Team RWBY wandering in a white void. The items were taken somewhere that was such an unknown location, they had to ask Geb for help. He takes them to this world, but they're surprised to see nothing.
Arcturus: this doesn't make since.
Ruby: not even a little. You sure this is the place?
Arcturus: should be. Geb's never been wrong before.
Weiss: I'm not questioning his wisdom, but there's nothing here. Literally.
Yang: she's right. Where are we supposed to find the items if we can't even find the world itself?
They look around for a bit, but then see what looked like a white structure. Seeing that that was the only thing in sight, Arc grabs everyone and they run over to it. They see it to be a hill like area without color and notice the Soulless symbol there.
Arcturus: that looks ominous.
Blake: well, it's better than nothing. C'mon, let's take a closer look.
They enter it, and found themselves in a completely new place with the color back. They run through the area and help destroy Soulless that were there. As they were nearing the end, a familiar blue blur runs by them, and Arc's surprise to see an old friend.
Sonic the Hedgehog
Arcturus: Sonic?
Sonic: (smirks) hey Arc. Long time no see.
Arcturus: it has been. How have you been?
Sonic: oh ya know, same old same old. Running around, beating Eggman, going on crazy adventures to save the world, the usual. How about you?
Arcturus: same. I'm actually looking for something here, and I think you can help.
Sonic: sure can. But first, let's deal with these guys.
They sped through the rest of the area, and RWBY catches up with the blue hedgehog as well. Then, after they leave, they see someone very similar to the speedy creature.
Classic Sonic
Arcturus: who's that?
Sonic: oh, guys, meet Sonic; my younger self from the past.
Arc, Clara, and RWBY: huh?!
Clara: (scans him) he's right. His genetic signature is like Sonic's, but the DNA indicates younger than him. He's from the past.
Classic Sonic: who are you guys? Are you more friends?
Sonic: yep. Meet Arc, Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang.
Arcturus: nice to meet you, young speed demon.
Ruby: so, why is your past self here?
???: we can explain that.
They look to see Tails, and Classic Tails fly towards them.
Weiss: Tails, and... Classic Tails?
Classic Tails: yep. We just call us that to make it easier.
Blake: makes since. (Beat) what exactly's going on?
Tails: to simplify it, we're traveling through time and space.
Arcturus: is this Eggman's doing?
Sonic: for once, no.
Things start shaking, and a portal opens. From it, a shadowy monster appears and roars. It flies over them and Arc scans it before it exits.
Classic Sonic: that's what's causing this.
Yang: what was that!?
Clara: it's some kind of dark monster. From the looks of it, it's in a state of flux between different timelines, like a living paradox.
Tails: that's exactly it.
Classic Tails: when that thing goes through time it tears space apart, leaving the areas empty and dead and sticking them in this weird white limbo.
Tails: when the Sonics accelerate through time they fix space, returning color and life!
Ruby: but now that we're here, we can go faster.
Arcturus: yeah. Looks like we need to run like there's no tomorrow.
Sonic: yeah. Or else there won't be a tomorrow.
With that, the team, now joined with the two Sonics, traveled to different points of their history, encountering some of Sonic's biggest moments. One showed Classic Sonic and Arc racing against Metal Sonic and the two conversating.
Arcturus: so Eggman was called Dr. Robotnik first, and has been fighting you for years?
Classic Sonic: yeah. Robuttnik's been attacking my home for years, and wants the chaos emeralds to rule the world.
Arcturus: (snickers) Robuttnik? That's even better! Clara, write that down.
Clara: (giggles) already done.
Classic Sonic: yeah, Tails and I fight him on a regular basis. But, there's always others who want to use my power to hurt others. But, I'm using it to protect my friends.
Arcturus: (smiles) well, I won't spoil much, but I will say you're gonna do great things in the future.
They then defeat the robot and continue with the others. During one race, Arc and Sonic were hit with a time sphere, and they get a huge flash of their history. When it fades, they're surprised.
Arcturus: I just saw your entire life flash before my eyes.
Sonic: me too. All that stuff with the dragons, Organization XIII, and your friends. You've been through a lot.
Arcturus: you too. With aliens in an amusement park, King Arthur, turning into a werehog and... (confused) you were kissed by a human?
Sonic: (points a finger) we never speak about that!
They progress further, returning the places back, and rescuing Sonic's friends. Along the way, Soulless spawned in as well and they had to work on defeating them. They soon came to a familiar place.
Ruby: it's Space Colony Ark. Still feels like yesterday we were here.
Blake: if this is here, then does that mean Shadow is as well?
Sonic: should be. Although, a lot's changed since you guys came here. He might not recognize you.
Arcturus: we'll cross that bridge when we get there. C'mon, let's find him.
Soulless then spawned and the team gets their weapons ready. Clara then notices something, and zooms in to see it was one of the items.
Clara: Arc, it's the item!
Sonic: one of the ones you guys are looking for?
Arcturus: the very same. (Sees it moving) and it's on the move!
Yang: we'll take care of these guys, Arc. Get that item!
The two speedsters then start running to it. Always from them, was Shadow with his arms cross until he notices them. He then grinds the rail and Sonic and Arc come up to a ramp. They jump across, and began the race for the item. After racing around for a bit and fighting enemies, until Sonic beats Shadow and Arc gets the item.
They leave back to the white world and met up with the Tailses. The creature appears again with more sections, and then takes off.
Blake: how many more times can it do that?
Arcturus: based off of the amount of events it's pulling in, I'd say about 1 or 2 hours. So, we should hurry up.
Sonic: on to the next place then.
