We're all instantly alerted, I quickly turn my whole body around despite the pain. Mikey instantly aim the gun to the entrance direction, where the source of the gunshot was from
Another shot was made, the bullet went through Mikey's arm. The gun flew out from Mikey's hand. I watch as red liquid pour out of his wound, staining his suit
"Move and I'll shoot her" An unknown male's voice was heard as he step into the light with a weapon pointing directly at me.
'Great, why am I always the hostage?' I thought to myself as Mikey click his tongue.
"I knew you were in trouble" He said to the detective as the detective's eyes instantly widen with a panic state
"Onii chan?! Why are you here?! you shouldn't be here!" The detective said furiously to who I presume was her brother
"I called for backups, they should be here anytime soon" The male said as he turn to look at me and Mikey
"What are you doing?! You should be giving the files to the investigator right now!" The detective blurted out in anger without thinking. I glance at Mikey, thinking how to get out of this situation
"I'm saving your ass since you DIDN'T ANSWER MY CALLS!" He respond back, raising his voice as her brother came closer to remove her restraints
"I can handle it myself, I don't need you saving me! You should've gone to the investigator like I told you to!" The detective said as she gritted her teeth in anger
"And what?! Let those assholes kill you?! No way!" Her brother yelled with the same level of anger.
Mikey and I watch as they bicker at each other angrily. They stop as the detective was free from the shackles, the male took the detective's hand and cautiously walk outside with the gun still pointed towards me
As they were close to the exit, I snatched grab a gun hidden under my dress. The male was quickly alerted and pull the trigger at my direction
"(Y/n)!" Mikey shouted and was about to reach for me. I quickly jump to Mikey, dodging the bullet.
He was about to shoot again when I aim at his direction, the bullet hitting his chest. He coughed up blood and his eyes went lifeless in a matter of seconds as a pool of blood was spread underneath him.
"Onii chan! No!" The detective yelled, panic as she tried desperately to stop the bleeding but to no avail
"(Y/n), are you okay?" Mikey ask as he came closer to look at my wound. I stop Mikey's hand and shook my head, telling him that I was okay
"I HATE YOU, QUEEN OF BONTEN!" The detective got up with angry tears and stared at us with her brothers gun, pulling the trigger but nothing came out
The detective clicked her tongue and took out a dagger from her brothers jacket. She lunged towards Mikey
I pushed Mikey away, causing the dagger to dig into my right thigh. I grit my teeth as the detective pulled out the dagger and crawled on top of me
The detective raise the blade up as I tightly grip her hands, stopping the dagger from cutting right at my face. Her eyes filled with thirst for revenge
My ears rang as the sound of gunshot made it's was through my ear. Blood spurt out of her forehead, painting my skin red.
The dagger fell right out of her hands, her body went limp on top of me. I push her corpse on the ground and turn to see Mikey, lowering the weapon as smoke went out of its muzzle
Silence stretch out as we both tried catching our breaths. I instantly crawled to the males corpse, with Mikey following behind
We searched for the files when I pulled out a flash drive from his breast pocket. I flip it around to find a Bonten logo printed on it
"This must be it" I said, showing it to Mikey as he nodded, making a quick phone call to the others
"Yeah there was nothing in her house, we'll meet you guys at the park there" I heard Kokonoi said as Mikey end the call
Just then, police sirens were heard not far from here. I cursed under my breath as Mikey got up
"Come on, we need to get out of here" Mikey said as I shook my head. Mikey stared at me with a puzzled look
"I...I can't" I said, looking down at my injured leg and thigh as I tried to get up but failed miserably. Mikey tried to pull me up but I fell down on my butt again
"Let me carry you" Mikey said, trying to lift me up in his arms. Mikey groaned in pain as I watch his arm bled even more
"No, stop! You'll make it worse" I lightly push him away as the police were getting closer
"I can't leave you here!" Mikey said, the panic grew in seconds as he tried to lift me up again but I stopped him
"Fine...then I'm going down with you" Mikey stated and sat next to me as I click my tongue.
"Mikey, listen to me!" I said cupping his cheeks with my hands. Mikey stared at me wide eyed, glancing outside once in a while
"You can't come with me, they need you!" I said, making myself clear as I remind Mikey that he's the leader.
"You need to get out of here..." I said, shoving the flash drive and my phone in his hand. Mikey stared at my eyes, frozen.
"There is no time! Mikey, go now..." I said hurriedly as the sound of police sirens were now nearby. Mikey stared at me with teary eyes. Mikey suddenly bring my face closer, our lips merge into a short hot kiss
Mikey stood up and ran, escaping from the big crack behind the decoyed building. Mikey glanced over his shoulder for a brief moment before heading out
'See you boys someday' I bite my lip, clutching the necklace that Ran gave me as the police vehicles stopped in front of the abandon building
"Drop your weapons and put your hands were we can see them!" One officer said demandingly as many guns were pointed at me while others searched around the building
I raise my hands up in surrender as my eyes squint from the bright light.
~Mikey's P.O.V~
I ran as fast as I could, ignoring the pain in my arm as I look around for a place to hide. Taking out, my phone I texted the others to meet someplace else a bit farther from this area
I grip her phone tightly in my chest, gritting my teeth as regret and despair washes over me.
'(Y/n)...(Y/n)...' My thoughts were only focused on her as I let out a shaky breath. Tears flowing out of my eyes. I ran out of my hiding spot as soon as I sense that the cops aren't around

~Kokonoi's P.O.V~
"I don't understand why Mikey wants us pick them up here, I mean...this is a bit far from the place don't ya think?" I said, leaning back at my seat
"Well, let's wait for them and see" Kakucho said as he stared out at the window.
After about five minutes of silence, the door suddenly opened. We all turn to see Mikey with an injured arm but no signs of (Y/n)
"Mikey? What happ-" Rindou was about to ask when Mikey suddenly demanded
"Drive" Mikey said. I look at Mikey who seems to be shaken up, not from fear but frustration
"But, what about-" Ran hesitantly grip the wheel and was about to object when he was cut off
"DRIVE RAN, FAST!" Mikey ordered as Ran instantly drive away with speed
All of us were speechless as Mikey stay silent. I look at Mikey, trying to figure out where (Y/n) is
"Where's (Y/n)?" Sanzu suddenly ask as he frown. Mikey kept quiet but grit his teeth in anger as rain suddenly pour from the gloomy sky
The whole ride were filled with tense silence as no one mention (Y/n). I feel the anxiousness consumes me as I think of her, making up thoughts about what had happened
The panic state were clear from everyone's faces as they opened their phones to text (Y/n), including me. Something must've happen, the message didn't go through.
As we all made it back to the mansion, everyone step out of the car waiting for Mikey to tell what had happened. Mikey stayed stubbornly silent, and soon I couldn't take it anymore
"Where's (Y/n)?" I ask boldly as I stood in front of Mikey as he stared at me with empty eyes. Mochizuki and Takeomi went out to greet us but stop in track when they saw the situation
"Where is our queen, Mikey?!" I repeat my question, raising my voice. Mikey stare at each and every one of us as we all wait impatiently for his response
"Fine...I'll tell you" Mikey said in a low tone of voice. We all listen closely as the rain hits us repeatedly, making our outfits wet
The more Mikey tell us the details of the event that happened, the more depressing the atmosphere became. We all stood there in shock as Mikey became silent again.
"That's it, I'm going back there" Ran said with Rindou following as they walk fast towards the car but was stopped by Mikey
"No one is going anywhere." Mikey said, the dark impulsivity taking over him. Mikey glared, looking like he was about to kill all of us in a matter of seconds if we don't obey.
Mikey's intense stare, followed by the roaring of the thunder made him look even more menacing. With that, no one dares to object as everyone went inside
My heart ache at the thought of (Y/n) as tears were running down my face. We all head inside our rooms without saying a word to each other
'(Y/n)...I promise we will take you back' I clutch my beating heart, determine to get her back.
