As Remus slowly woke up he realized the morning he was about to have.
He first felt his hand on Spencer hair, then the noise coming from her, and finally her mouth sucking him off.
"Good morning" he kept his eyes closed, relishing it in.
"Mm" she replied, not wanting to take her mouth off him.
After five minutes he spoke again.
"Turn around" he let her hair go.
"Remus, it's your birthday" she replied, looking at him.
"Then shouldn't I get what I want?" he quirked an eyebrow.
She smiled and turned around, then began sucking him off again.
Remus licked her slowly, teasing her entrance.
"Fuck, you're dripping" he spoke into her.
He felt her smile on him, as well as the back of her throat.
He placed two fingers inside, playing with her.
"Fuck Spencer, I'm close" he moaned.
She bobbed her head quicker.
"Spence" he pulled his head back as he came into her mouth.
Spencer turned back around, licking the cum that fell out off of him.
He stared at the sight, his eyes never leaving hers.
He saw as she swallowed, smiling.
She moved up, sitting on his hips.
"Happy birthday" she whispered before kissing him.
"Can I tie you up?" he asked.
"You can do anything you'd like" she whispered in his ear before kissing his neck.
"Lay down" he lightly smacked her butt.
She chuckled before doing so, Remus stood up and walked toward their dresser.
He grabbed five ties, showing them to her.
"You'll tell me if it starts hurting?" he wrapped one around her ankle.
"Yes Professor" she nodded.
Remus tied her hands the headboard, finally wrapping the last one over her eyes.
She bit her lip in anticipation.
She heard him leave the room, he came back with an ice cube in hand.
He got on the bed, placing himself on her.
Remus put the ice cube between his teeth, getting closer to her neck.
Spencer pulled on the headboard, a small gasp leaving her mouth.
He drew the ice around her breasts, his hand on her waist.
He widened her legs, letting drops of water hit her entrance.
Spencer arched her back, Remus stared as her breasts bounced.
He bit the ice, swallowing it, moving his head lower and licking her.
She let out a moan, "Remus."
"Yes my love" his back straight.
"I need you" she spoke.
"I know" he dragged himself on her. "I know" he pushed himself in.
He slowly thrusted into her, Spencer melted to his touch.
"Do you want to cum Spencer?" he rasped.
She nodded.
"Words, sweetheart" he placed his hand on her neck.
"Yes sir" she moaned.
He grabbed her hips, pulling her in further.
"Yes, yes, yes" she screamed. "God Remus."
"Just Remus" he spoke before kissing her fiercely.
His arms moved to her back, feeling himself throb inside of her.
"Don't stop" she breathed out. "Right there!"
He thrusted harder, feeling the cum drip from her.
He continued to pull her toward him, slowing his pace.
Spencer caught her breath, a smile creeping on her lips.
"What is it?"
"You haven't cummed yet."
"I did, in your mouth" he chuckled.
"I'd like you to cum on my chest."
"Would you know?"
"I'd also like you to take a photograph" she arched her back as Remus continued to push himself inside her.
"Accio camera" he spoke. "Anything else my love?"
"Not yet" she moaned.
He pulled himself out, quickly moving to her side.
She stroked him, waiting for him to release on her.
As he did, he held her head while running his hand on her hair.
"Fuck" he exhaled, looking down from the ceiling. "You are everything I've ever wanted."
As she blushed, Remus took the photo.
He stood up and cleaned her chest before slowly taking the tie off her, rubbing the reddening areas on her ankle- doing the same when he arrived to her wrist.
Spencer took the tie off her face, shutting her eyes as the sun hit her face.
Remus chuckled as he massaged her wrist.
She smiled as she looked at him.
"Hello, just Remus."
"Hello darling" he winked.
She took a deep breath in, "happy birthday" she smiled.
"A happy birthday indeed" he kissed her.
"I have another surprise for you."
"I know, I can smell it" he chuckled.
"Can you go get it then?" she laughed.
Remus nodded before he stood up and brought the tray from the kitchen.
Spencer cooked breakfast for them to enjoy in bed.
"To you" she grabbed the mug with apple juice.
"To us" he clinked their mugs.
After breakfast the two napped, the sex making them extra tired.
Spencer woke up to her alarm clock sounding, Remus groaned.
"We need to shower" she spoke.
"No we don't, let's stay here" he gripped her.
"I'll let you fuck me again" she whispered in his ear.
Remus smirked, "deal."
──────⊱⁜⊰──────
"Where are we going?" he asked.
"It's a surprise"
"What time is it?"
"3:30" she replied, putting on a strapless bra.
"And what might one find themselves doing at 3:30 in the afternoon?" he stared at her getting dressed.
"I have no idea" she chuckled.
"I have a feeling you might" he dropped the towel that hung on his hips.
"Oh no mister, none of that" she turned around, putting on a navy silk dress.
Remus walked toward her, turning her around.
Getting on his knees he lifted the dress to her waist, kissing her entrance.
"Remus we're going to be late" she played with his hair.
He rested his forehead on her stomach, "fine" he stood up. "So what should I wear?"
"Suit" she walked to the mirror.
"Do you think black goes with navy?" he asked, looking at his ties.
"Yes? I don't think it matters Remus" she chuckled, putting on her earrings.
"Of course it does" he grabbed her hips from behind, staring at her through the mirror. "I want everyone to know who I'm going to be fucking tonight" he whispered into her ear.
Spencer blushed, looking down at her feet.
She cleared her throat before looking up at the mirror, staring at him.
"Get dressed please" she whispered.
He smirked before kissing her neck and putting on his suit.
As Spencer put on her maxi coat, Remus fixed her collar as she fixed his tie.
"Ready?"
"Yeah" he nodded.
Spencer opened the door, finding Harry with his arm up.
He took a step back, looking at her attire.
"You look very pretty" he smiled.
"Thanks Harry" she smiled.
"Not coming to dinner then?"
She shook her head, "date."
"I thought you couldn't leave the castle" he whispered.
"I can't" she whispered back, winking. "Professor Lupin and I are going to a- conference."
"Yawn."
"He can hear you" she chuckled.
"Oh erm- sorry Professor" he said looking for him.
"It's alright Harry- it probably will be boring" he now stood behind Spencer.
"Could you not tell the others? I wouldn't want people knowing I left."
"Sure" he nodded. "Uhm- I'll be leaving then" he smiled.
Spencer nodded as she watched him walk away, Remus beside her.
"C'mon, before someone sees us" she walked out of the castle.
As soon as they reached the muggle village Remus took her hand in his.
Spencer called over a cab, waving her arm.
"Hello" she greeted the man as she got in.
"Where to?" the man asked.
"Constellation theatre please" she smiled.
"We could've watched a film at home" he rested his hand on her thigh.
"It's not a movie theater" the cab driver spoke.
"Oh what is-"
"Don't tell him cab driver! It's supposed to be a surprise" she chuckled.
The man laughed, "what's the celebration?"
"It's his birthday" she smiled at him. "And I've got an evening planned."
"How lovely" he smiled. "How long have you been together?"
"6 months?" Remus asked.
"Yeah around there" Spencer nodded. "Are you with someone?"
"Married, 13 years and counting."
"That's so cute," she smiled, "how did you know they were the one?"
He looked at Remus though the rear view mirror, "smart woman, isn't she?" the cab driver smirked.
"What?" he looked from him to Spencer.
"You don't have to tell us, it's alright" she said politely.
"No it's okay, I'm not ashamed."
"I don't think I understand" Remus spoke.
"His wedding ring is on the right hand" Spencer pointed with her head.
"So?"
"I'm married to a man" the cab driver spoke.
"Oh" Remus replied. "Oh" he chuckled. "I apologize I didn't realize."
"No worries, but to answer your question it took both of us a while to realize. We broke up and I realized that I couldn't live without him, but I had hurt him. So it took a while for him to forgive me" he told them.
"Why'd you guys break up?" she asked.
"My family," he nodded, "they threatened him through me and told me if I didn't break up with him they'd harm him. He didn't know and I didn't want him to, so I lied and said a bunch of crap I didn't mean" he added as he turned on a street.
"How'd you get back together?"
"We saw each other at a party and left once it was dark enough outside, walked around the city. I apologized but he was still hurt, rightfully so. My sister spoke to him... I wasn't doing so well and she explained what my family wanted to do to him. I hated that she did that even if it helped a bit, but really it was screaming matches we had between each other, really had to let that anger go."
"It stains the soul" Spencer nodded.
"Yeah, it does" he nodded. "But it also cleansed it."
"What do you mean?"
"Well I saw it from his point of view, he saw it through mine. After a few days we both understood and- obviously you can't let go of things like that quickly, but we worked on it together... here we are" he said as he stopped in front of the theater.
Remus got out of the cab, walking toward Spencer's side and opening the door for her.
She turned around, facing the driver.
"Hopefully one day you'll get to love him in the sun" she handed him money.
He placed his hand on top of hers, "keep it" he smiled.
She shook her head, "buy him something nice... and tell him there are people out there who know of your love" she smiled.
The man nodded, Spencer waved as he drove off.
Remus wrapped his hand around her waist, staring as the car went out of their view.
"Do you think the sun will ever shine on them?"
"Yeah" she nodded. "Why not?"
"Why not" he nodded.
Spencer kissed him softly before grabbing his hand and leading them to the ticket counter.
"Two for Lupin" she spoke.
The woman looked for their tickets as Remus stared at Spencer.
"Enjoy your evening" she smiled.
"Thanks" Spencer smiled back.
They walked to the entrance, handing someone their tickets and walked into the theater.
Remus admired his surroundings, the auditorium was dimly lit. The only light came from beside the seats and the candles at the front.
He looked up and saw a chandelier hanging from the wall, a painting on the ceiling.
A large piano in the middle of the stage.
They sat down, Remus took her right hand and placed it in his. He moved them to his lap.
He got closer to her ear, "thank you" he whispered.
"Nothing has happened yet" she chuckled.
He looked her in the eye, "you happened" he said before he kissed her.
Spencer smiled, her left hand caressing his face.
Someone cleared their throat, "excuse me" they said as they moved further down the row.
Spencer blushed as she moved her legs.
"Thank you everyone for joining us today on this wonderful afternoon" someone spoke. "We have a wonderful selection picked out for you all today, I hope you enjoy" he bowed before taking a seat, people clapped.
For the next hour and a half, they watched the concert.
Both of them were completely enamored with the noise the piano made.
Toward the end, someone got on stage and handed the pianist a microphone.
"This one is dedicated to Remus Lupin- happy birthday from Spencer" he spoke.
Remus faced Spencer, a smile evident on her face.
He began playing Happy Birthday on the piano, Spence pointed behind Remus.
He turned and saw one of the workers with a cupcake in hand, a candle lit.
The crowd began singing, Spencer and Remus laughed as most forgot his name.
"Make a wish" she whispered.
Remus looked down at the cupcake, then back up at her.
He nodded before looking down again and blowing the candle.
Everyone around them clapped as Remus kissed Spencer.
She chuckled and rested her forehead against his.
"There's one more song I'd like to play for you all, this one is also for Mr. Lupin but not from Spencer" the pianist took out a note from his pocket. "To Remus, from Pedro."
"Who is Pedro?" Remus asked in a whisper, handing half of the cupcake to Spencer.
"My grandfather" she chuckled, accepting it.
"Right, right. I thought his name was just Espinoza" he chuckled.
"Pay attention" she laughed.
The man played his final song and for some reason Remus felt more connected than ever.
Six minutes passed and he still couldn't put his finger on it, it wasn't until the song finished he realized everyone was giving a standing ovation.
He stood up, clapping.
"You okay?" Spencer asked.
"Yeah- yeah" he nodded. "Can we speak to him?" Remus asked.
"Yeah but I'd like to have a few words with my grandfather" she nodded.
"He's here?" he paled.
"Relax Remus" she laughed.
The pianist bowed before leaving the stage, soon enough the lights turned on.
"So does he own this too?"
"He donates" she shrugged. "So kind of but not really?"
He chuckled and nodded.
Spencer grabbed his hand and led him backstage, her grandfather already there.
"I didn't see that song in the program?" Remus asked the pianist, pulling him aside.
"No one knew" he shook his head. "I assume you'd like to know the title?"
Remus nodded.
"Kreisler - Liebesfreud, otherwise known as Love's joy" he smiled.
Remus stood straighter, "thank you" he cleared his throat.
Remus offered his hand, the pianist took it.
"Happy birthday" he nodded.
"Thank you" he smiled.
"It was a wonderful show, thank you so much" she hugged the pianist.
"Not a problem" he smiled.
"Ready to go? We have a dinner reservation to make" Spencer asked Remus.
"Yeah," he smiled, "will you be joining us?" he asked her grandfather.
He shook his head, "thank you for the invitation. Nice tie by the way, goes with the dress" he pointed to his granddaughter with his head.
Spencer's eyes widened for a second before laughing, "bye grandpa" she smiled.
He offered his hand to her grandfather, shaking it before they left.
"Hey you didn't need to come back" Spencer spoke as she saw their cab driver lean against the car.
He chuckled, "I'm here for my friend."
"Oh" she smiled. "It was truly lovely, you should go with them sometime."
"I hear enough at home" he smiled.
"...wait, the pianist?" she chuckled.
"The very same" he nodded.
"Hello" Spencer heard from behind.
"Hi" she chuckled. "We were just talking about you."
"Good things I hope" he laughed.
"Very good things" she nodded. "Anyway we have to get going, dinner reservation. Enjoy your night" she smiled.
"Let me take you" the cab driver spoke.
"Don't worry about it" she shook her head.
"C'mon, I won't charge you" he laughed.
"I'll leave money in the back anyway" she chuckled.
He opened the back door, waiting for her to go in.
She exhaled, "fine" she smiled.
"Get in the car love" he told the pianist.
"Charles" the pianist eyes widened.
"Michael, she knew about the ring. Relax" he laughed.
Michael looked at Remus.
"Don't worry" he shook his head, getting in the car.
Charles closed their door and got in, Michael followed.
As Charles drove, Remus answered Michael's question of how they met- of course omitting the whole 'I'm her professor' part.
Spencer chuckled at their fake life, she was in her last year in university while Remus taught elementary school children. They met at a cafe where she worked for the summer, that was true.
Remus gave a speech at her university and they reconnected, kind of true.
"Thank you for the ride, your pay is in the back seat" Spencer said from Michaels side, Charles shook his head with a smile.
"Remember about the sun" she nodded. Charles nodded before driving off.
They walked in, hand in hand.
"Reservation for Lupin" Spencer spoke to the waiter.
They looked at the sheet before nodding, "right this way."
He led them to a semi private room, they were surrounded by fake walls with a table in the middle.
"Thank you" Spencer told him as he left the menu's.
"What are you feeling for dinner?"
"You" he said without looking up at her.
"Remus" she chuckled.
"I think I'll just take a classic steak" he shrugged.
Spencer nodded, "If I share my chicken Alfredo will you give me a piece?"
"Of course" he nodded.
"Wine per Mr. Espinoza's request" the waiter came in, leaving the bottle.
Remus eyes widened, "Spence-"
"Remus it's your birthday, enjoy it" she smiled.
He took a deep breath in and out before nodding.
"Are we ready to order?"
Remus ordered their food, handing them the menus.
"I would've been fine with take out, you know?"
"I know" she smiled. "However with everything going on I thought we both deserved a night out."
He rested his hand on hers, caressing it.
"What did I do?" he smiled. "To deserve you."
"Maybe it's written in the stars" she shrugged.
"Maybe" he nodded.
And just like that, he feared the moon a little less.
Because with out the darkness, the stars wouldn't shine.
