"You look like shit. Fix your hair up man and why did you buy that tux? It looks shitty on you, should have bought a white or something. It looks cheap." Ouch. It lowered Blake's self-esteem but he still kept a smile-again how the fuck is he still friends with him?!
Josh frowned when he realized what he said. He couldn't take it back, what's done has been done. So instead of lashing out, he started making music.

Josh had a burning hatred for Cassie. No one could ever understand why, well except for me cuz I'm Pope fucking Rue. But every time he saw Blake and her together, it makes his blood boil.

Josh knew Cassie. She was like a snake, just waiting to crawl out. He tried multiple times to get Blake to break up with her, but he would always be seen as the heartless jerk.

It hurt him to see his friend like this. So blinded with love that he couldn't see the real Cassie. Josh always states that he was the only one who could see Cassie for who she always was. I just assume he was just being a jealous asshole who wanted his friend's attention.

Josh is a bad influence on Blake, and he knew it. Ms Jacobs never liked him, he would try to find ways to make Blake ditch class or drink some beers or go on a road trip to another state.
Last year, they went on a road trip and ended up in Minnesota then to the Great River Road, how? Don't ask me shit because I was dealing with my own shit.
Josh looked at Blake, driving his car through the forest. The lightning almost made it seem like he glowed behind him. Josh couldn't help but stare.

Anyway, it was a big thing here. The Jacobs had called the police wondering where their son was. When he did return, his parents had banned him from seeing Josh.
It didn't last long.
There was a time when Cassie and Blake took a break. It wasn't like Nate and Maddy's break, just that Blake couldn't help wondering where she would be. Cassie found him to be too clingy which wasn't true so she wanted a break.
It hurt Blake. He didn't cry, but he was just a lost puppy. Mostly depending on Josh which he didn't mind, but he didn't like how hurt his friend was.

They got back together three weeks later. Cassie realize her mistake and went back to Blake, who left Josh there to watch him be happy. He hated it.

Everywhere they go, Cassie would follow. At this point, Josh felt as if Blake didn't need him. Sure they hang out and play games, but this time he felt different. Maybe it's because he had developed feelings for his best friend and didn't know how to cope with it?
Or maybe it's because he is jealous of Cassie. After all, she could be in a relationship with the said guy he likes?
Josh looks at the two couples, laughs and giggles as they feed each other food that Blake probably made.
Or maybe he feels heartbroken because the guy who he likes could never love him the way he wants him to...
